  Well, I contacted HP support and got a helpful response within a day. Siva gave me urls for two drivers that I apparently needed (not very new drivers and I don't know why they were not there in this new machine, but any way..) and they installed, unlike the one I found just for me and giving a message "forbidden". However, once installed, both raised the box "this program cannot be installed correctly" (that I've seen before and never known what to do about it except devoted to work and hope for the best).

  With the drivers installed, the system * fact * detect the SD card so that it has shown in Device Manager and gave sound signals when it has been installed and removed.   After doing this, I started to install anti virus and others and then to install the drivers, many of which I don't know, but analysis system dell raised all of the recommendations I installed, everything outside the video... none seems to fit my current card. I left it... went to nvidia which part of the site told me that he could not find compatible hardware... another part of the site classified as GT 555 M, but I had to go to my manufacturer to get the driver.

  The GT 555 M has been never delivered with the M15X, but with M14X R1, so the former owner must have updated the GT 240 M graphics card. This explains why the drivers from the website corresponds to your configuration.

  Try this version of the driver from the NVIDIA website and let me know how it goes.

  The hard drive in my Inspiron one 2305 crushed and I tried to install a 500 GB Seagate Barracuda drive.

  Although I was not able to swap the Sata cables as natacuk4 suggested; It looks like just unplug and reinstallation of cables Sata what it did the trick!

  From my understanding, most laptops allow you to simply remove the SD card back.  Others have a simple spring mechanism that requires you to press the memory card slightly until you hear a "click", similar to a click on a retractable pen, which must eject the card.
