  As far as I know that the power button or to be more precise, the margin around the power button should be lit / lighted.

  In my opinion its not serious problem but if there s a problem for you and you are not satisfied with that, I recommend you contact the dealer to replace the unit.

  First: tools and utilities are similar, but in most cases have to be adapted for each laptop model. It may happen that some tools work on the different model of laptop, but this does not mean that he has to work on each model.

  Second important fact is that Toshiba does not Satellite M40X support for Vista operating system and I guess you won't be able to use this tool. In my opinion, it is not so important, because all the energy-saving settings you can find in Vista power options.

  Sorry, but I put t any solution there. The problem is that all the tools that you can find on your device are tested, but there is no way to test it with all the software that you can find on the market. If you can work without mobile extensions you must live with it.

  Yes, now I see that except for navigation in the main menu and youtube, no other links work.
