I turned off and unplugged the power outlet and it was built next to the radiator for the last 4 hours,
I tried it again now and it started, there were still crackling and then the screen went black, but the 'on' will Flash blue, the capslock flashes as are the other two on the keyboard. Is it buggered or is there anything i can do to fix it?
Any help would be apprciated.

Satellite Pro P100-188: screen keeps blinking on and off at random intervals tension
If anyone can help me with my computer so please PLEASE publish it because I have no idea of what is happening to her.
I just bought a new laptop, a Toshiba Satellite Pro P100 - 188 Dual Core and I'm having a problem with it. Sometimes (not all the time) if the computer is plugged in or not, the screen flashes and repeatedly and then will slow down and its suspicious home.
I have no idea what's wrong with it, I sent it to the store where I bought to be fixed and they just he sent to me, but the problem persisted. They say they have done tests on the machine and can't find anything wrong with it, but if that were the case, then it only would not have messed up again.
What is just a software problem? The screen seems to flicker on and off at intervals irregular or not I'm in the middle of using it or not. All the drivers are the latest drivers and I admit now that I'm at my wits end.
Any thoughts, anyone?Hello
This seems very odd. However, you posted that this problem happens sometimes and not all the time.
In my opinion I n t think that the software could be responsible for this issue.
Perhaps one loses the connection cable? But believe me; It's not easy to say what's wrong without diagnostic tests.
You have suggested that you have sent the unit to the store.I recommend you contact Toshiba service partner in your country. Technicians must check the laptop.

Satellite Pro 6100: blue screen after overheating problem
My laptop overheats a year ago and since then I can only use it for about an hour at a time. First sign, it's going to blue screen, it's the hard drive starts clicking and about 5 minutes later, he dies.
Let it cool down for a few hours, then it is well again. It is not the disc hard as I tested it in another laptop.Any ideas?
I desperately need to work again, it has been the best laptop I've ever owned, and I hate the idea of having to buy a new one with a touchpad.Hello
Generally, the laptop overheats because the cooling module may not work correctly.
I guess that the blue screen appears because of the overheating.
In this case, I would recommend checking the cooling fans. Fans cannot work properly because of the dust and debris.
The use of the vacuum cleaner is the best way to clean the fans.
But be careful. In addition, the square around the laptop must be free. It is important that fans can take a breath.

> During a game for half an hour, the screen darkens and a second view later, I get a blue screen.
Well, my first thought is that this problem is related to the graphics driver.
I mean it could be a software problem.
But I know that a BSOD can also occur if the graphics card chip began to malfunction.
In your case I m not sure what could cause this problem. But to play a game, that the GPU is running with a maximum yield and produce a lot of heat. If the temperature rises to a higher level the GPU can also cause a BSOD.Anyway, first of all, you must check if the graphics card driver update could solve this problem.
Maybe you could use a driver from other websites but please note that this is ONLY possible at your peril! -
Satellite Pro A100 request BIOS password which was never put
Hiya
Have had my Satellite Pro A100 for almost 2 years and that all this time have never even heard of a password system, but all of a sudden, I turned on the laptop this morning and it does not load. I tried pressing F12 (can't remember why, it seemed the thing to do to read the instructions at the bottom of the screen), but nothing happened so I just turned off the power. Put on again, he asked the system password. (A black screen with a blue box, with the old text base BACK type fonts).
I have no idea what it could be, I tried the word system and tried just pressing on enter without text in there but it says incorrect password. I removed the battery and left 10 hours but put it back in the machine there is no difference, it will not always go through this screen.
I am the only user on this machine, have no idea what caused it. I am aware of security, have installed on complete McAfee AV and did not have anything odd happen at all. Didn't last changes made to the configuration, no new software etc. so I have no idea what prompted it.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks in advance
RachelThis password seems to be a BIOS password, but I have no idea why this password is displayed if you have never defined it.
Unfortunately, there is not a lot to see the BIOS password can be removed without the help of an ASP.Then, contact the service provider allowed in your country and request removal of the password.
I also recommend updating the BIOS after the technician removed the password.
Do you know how to find the ASP closest?

Satellite Pro A100-080 does not start - stays dark after 3 beeps
Hello
After a week off, the Toshiba Satellite Pro A100-080 (PSAASE-00G004GR, 4 GB RAM) of my kids start not anymore.
When turn on/off the system, he * will beep 3 times * (one long, two short beeps), the HDisk light flashes 'blue' and then nothing more. A/c and battery power LED are 'blue', which seem to be OK status.
No other useful help, as the screen remains dark.We had upgraded to 4 GB MEM (Kingston) a year ago and I already tried the old used 1 GB (included with purchase) or the replacement of 2 x 1 GB since December 2007, but equal status with these modules. This is not
a defect of memory.I hope that this is not the motherboard, probably only the NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics included adapter?
Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?Thx for a short help.
Hello
Generally this type of beep codes are hardware related or with other words, hardware is defective. So I think it's a hardware problem and an ASP must check your laptop computer to identify the cause of this.
On the Toshiba site, you will find a list of aspic:

Satellite Pro A100 - flashing light battery and no start
Hello
I was sitting watching a video with my daughter yesterday when five minutes in my Satellite Pro A100 suddenly stopped working - cut out completely and not be reactivated. When I tried to restart the orange lit battery eleven short blinks blinked, and nothing else has happened. The battery has been low for some time, so we always run the AC adapter. The adapter is currently connected, but there is no blue light charge as I expect.
With the battery removed do not get the flashes orange. With the battery and power adapter, I get the flashes orange.
I was wondering if the AC adapter was missing, and we do not have a "low battery" warning because we were watching a video. That would explain the lack of charge indicator. When we get the flashes orange, we get this from the small amount of residual charge of the battery.
Can anyone back this idea up - or anyone who can interpret the error code?
Thank you
Keith
Hey Buddy,
This means that you are able to start your computer or battery or AC/DC adapter only, good point?
Well, theoretically it might be possible that AC/DC adapter is defective.
When you try to start your laptop, nothing happens, right? In the best case, you know a friend who has the same AC/DC adapter, so you can test if the AC adapter is defective or not. Otherwise a professional diagnosis of an ASP would be necessary.

Re: Satellite L650-165 - blue screen during the video playback or games
Hello
In October, I bought my L650-165. However, since then, I was faced with the blue screen of death. This happens when either video playback, streaming video or play Football Manager 2011 (video game).
I think that my problems are all the graphics card related. However, I am really at a loss. I've always used Tosh laptop computers but this problem starts to grate. I keep coming back to my trusty 5 years Equium!
I'm not that great with Windows 7, so I would appreciate any pointers or possible solutions.
Thank you

Satellite Pro A100-080: NVidia display driver's break in 3D games
Hello
I have some problems with the display driver since I bought the laptop 9 months ago. I tried to install each new driver published on the toshiba site but no driver is running stable on my system.
The problem is that my laptop crashes with blue screen when playing 3d games and my windows vista tells me that it is the display driver causing accidents.
I had the previous version of the driver installed several months ago and I think it's more stable than the current version. Unfortunately I lost the files for that one, but I prefer a functional driver for this laptop.
