  just bought a Toshiba Satellite Pro P300-1FP.

  Came with Vista installed. I would like to use XP instead.

  The aircraft crashed the first time I tried to install XP.

  Just took delivery of some new L870 Pro of Satellite we have reinstalled Windows 7 but seem to be missing some drivers. I downloaded installed all the drivers available from the download site but we still have an unknown device.

  Looking around it can be an IMEI chip but I was not able to confirm the DEV ID of any of our sources generally. Does anyone have an idea what it is and where I could get the 64 bit Windows 7 drivers?

  However for the use of the older software I need for my work, I want to install Windows XP from my old laptop.
  I want to configure a dual-boot environment, so I use Win7 for most of the time, but be able to boot XP, whenever I need to.

  Which of these drivers do I need?

  My laptop came without such a DVD, there is just a recovery partition.

  But I would start with common as drivers:
  Display driver, driver LAN, Wlan driver, Modem driver, card reader controller, driver for the touchpad, etc..

  I just got my Satellite Pro P300-25W and I hate the noise of the fan. Is there a way to make it less noisy race less often?

• Satellite Pro P300 LED to the bizarre behavior

  I have a portable Satellite Pro P300-1AY, bought just for more than a year. A few hours before after saving my galleries of photos on my external hard drive, a function LED (located below the touchpad) began to blink once every 2 seconds and has done since then.   I installed the RC of Windows 7 64 bit on my Satellite Pro P300 PSPC5E and I have problems with the configuration of my webcam and microphone.

  I think there is no solution for this problem at the moment, because you are using a Release Candidate of Windows 7 and at the moment there is no official driver for Windows 7.
