Satellite S50-B-15N - display flashes on an online game

I installed the AMD video drivers for my Satellite S50-B-15N, but the display flashes on an online game (java-based).

How do I know what card I have and if I have the correct drivers installed?

With other words, you don't use driver from the download page, Toshiba but driver downloaded directly from AMD right?

  • Satellite S50-B-15N-Wi-Fi frequent disconnections / BSOD

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite S50-B-15N who suffers frequent disconnections in my home Wi-Fi.

I updated my drivers intel for the latest on the site of intel, but the problem persists.

The other day I got a BSOD and it came with this (NETwbw02.sys) DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Error info. After a little research, there seems to be a conflict any with the access point (router) in my house.

I also suffer from BSOD on the incidents of the core power.

Anyone have any suggestions on any of these questions?

The NETwbw02.sys file seems to belong to the Intel WiFi driver package.
But usually the Intel driver shouldn't cause big problems... but it might be possible that a different 3rd party software that is installed on the laptop is not working properly under driver Intel...

  • Can not find SSDS in Satellite S50-B-15N

    Hello.

I just bought a S50-B-15N Satellite, which is supposed to have an 8 GB SSD and a 1 TB drive.

I can see the hard 1 TB but could not find anything to do with the SSD drive in my computer or in 'manage the device '.

    Anyone got any ideas?

It seems that the S50-B-15N Satellite was released in the United Kingdom, and according to the website of specification for Toshiba laptop, the laptop was equipped the 1 TB + 8 GB Solid state drive Hybrid (SSHD)

    Hello!

    I have a http://www.toshiba.co.uk/laptops/sat...ite-s50-b-15n/. Windows 10.

The screen flickers every morning and every evening (after I come back from work) for about 1 minute, regardless of what I do, that there is normal unless I have push or pull.

That I can book a Pick Up and return, but there is a tax of 60 books just for the trip if they come to the conclusion that the damage is caused by me. I'm afraid they're going to say that because he has a "hole" in the back of the screen. I know that's not relevant, but of course I can't prove it.

Sounds like a bad connection of the LCD screen.
ASP can fix it. I don't think that little tooth is causing the problem, but the ASP would need to open it to see what happens.

  • S50-B-15N issues satellite keyboard/Trackpad / function key - win 10 improvement

I bought a Satellite S50-B-15N a few months ago, who came with Windows 8.1 and decided to do the upgrade of Windows 10 about two months ago. Initially, the laptop worked well but in recent weeks, he had various issues with the keyboard, trackpad, and function keys.

Keyboard: Sometimes the laptop starts up and the keyboard detects no input. A few reboots solves the problem. If I hold the BACKSPACE key to delete several characters as a single character is deleted on one-click Rollback, I can't keep him down quickly delete several words.

Trackpad: The same for the keyboard sometimes at startup it works everything simply. I have to use the keyboard to access devices Manager where I must get back the driver trackpad for her to start working again at the next reboot.

Function keys: All the keys of the row from the top on the laptop (brightness, volume, stock selection, etc.) do not work. I am able to hold the "FN" key and select an F key, like F5, but other keys are completely insensitive.

I tried reading the forums for solutions and I went to the page of the driver of Toshiba and installed all the drivers for Windows 10 for my laptop, so far, nothing has worked. Is that what I can do to make the laptop works properly with Windows 10?

I have a similar problem. I had the same Toshiba model and bought in August. Not sure when the new driver will be released. If anyone has an idea how to solve this problem?

  • Windows does not start Satellite S50

I can't seem to fix my Windows 10 or reinstall it. I tried to do an image ISO Windows 10 in a USB flash key or enter the toshiba HDD erase mode.

    Can someone help me?

Here are the details: satellite s50

I press 0 + power button to enter the recovery mode and the black screen with the TOSHIBA logo appears and down: Please wait. Then a black screen and it freezes (nothing happens more than 20 minutes). What else can I try?

    Thank you

If the recovery of HARD drive and install USB Win10 both fail, it could be a hardware failure.
You may need to send the laptop to a Toshiba repair for repair center.

  • Satellite S50-B-12Z - recovery does not start

    Hi guys.

    I have Toshiba Satellite S50-B-12Z
    I can't start the recovery.

When I press the 0 key starting system, information about recovery happens.
I answer YES to the question if I want to continue the recovery and after this system appears as normal takes just a bit longer.

What will happen? I remember I managed to enter the recovery menu once but can't remember how.

I taught maybe I deleted the partition by mistake, but partition magic shows he's still there (not used status).

Any ideas why menu recovery will not come to the top?

Hold F12 for power up to display the start menu.

If "HDD Recovery" is not found, or its load fails, this means that the recovery partition has a problem.

You can order on the site of Toshiba recovery disks.

    > Please help, I don't want to replace the motherboard and then find it is not the motherboard

In my view it's hard to say what's wrong here.
You said that if you connect the external monitor, the display is OK means (in my opinion) than the motherboard and graphics card should be ok.

I think you should visit a next engineer downtown to get verified material sound much less expensive than buying the following parts.

Crush the display flashes for 2-3 minutes after that mini mac wakes up from sleep

If you have another Thunderbolt cable, plug it into the unused port on the

Thunderbolt Display and then in the Mini and see if the same thing happens.

What you can see is a precursor of the poster, built out of the cable.

At least, it could eliminate a costly repair problem.  Although the cable itself is not

expensive, opening to the top of the screen of TB to replace could be.

Well that not connected on a Mini, I began to see in similar behavior my

    Hello

I have Toshiba Satellite s50-b-151 and I want to add 4 GB more RAM, but I don't know if I can do by myself or if necessary to send it to the technical service.

Because I don't want to lose the warranty.

    Thank you!

As far as I know at the bottom of the device, you won't find a separate access to the memory locations...

So the whole bottom plastic cover has to be removed to find modules.

Remove this plastic cover could void the warranty

    > I asked this question on the Microsoft forums and I've learned to run the troubleshooter of material (did not help) and if defective, to search for the latest drivers for keyboard - I seem to have the most recent for my model, as from Toshiba Web site does not list the keyboard updates.

It seems that this opinion is not from Microsoft staff, but some users of the forum.
You should know that the drivers of keyboard (developed by Microsoft) are still part of the Windows System. Any Windows OS you use, the keyboard driver would be always installed as part of the OS. This means that the drivers of special keyboard DON T exist but system uses own driver...

You can check the functionality of the keyboard in USB external keyboard.
If external keyboard works properly, the internal keyboard is malfunctioning and must be replaced.

If the external keyboard does not work properly too, then I recommend you to recover the laptop using Toshiba HDD recovery. Otherwise, there could be question of motherboard (keyboard controller).
