Satellite SA60-117 wireless lan

Hello
SA60-117 is standard no adapter wireless network, but it has a location to place a mini-PCI - card (?), see at the bottom of the cover.
It's a prop, you can buy and place later (where-of/how) or is it just for the other models SA60?
Now I use a PCMCIA card or a USB key, but I want an integrated WLAN card.
Thank you, John

Hello john

As far as I know the wireless LAN / Wi - Fi is not available for this device. This means that there is no antenna and mounting a posteriori of the unit will cost a lot of money. I think USB stick or wifi PCMCIA card is the best solution and less expensive.

  • Satellite L300-19Y - wireless LAN is not in the list of devices

Hi I need to throw this one out there incase I throw my pc a bridge...

I have a Toshiba Satellite L300-19Y which recently gubbed the HD, so I replaced and am trying to install XP SP3.

However, even with what i belive to be the correct drivers I can't seem to access my wireless LAN.
I installed most of the pilots involved, and have access to the Internet via the NIC with a connecting cable.
It was a struggle to get even, even if I really need a wireless...

At the moment the wireless device does not appear in the list of devices, although I can see my network card.
I have some thoughts on how to activate the wireless, I tried to install the driver manually wireless but didn't get any wherever I get a code 10 XP Shutdown response.

I've updated the BIOS, I have the latest drivers 8187b, I installed the kernel, the chipset, the display and audio drivers... etc.
I installed a new copy of XP but you have not installed all the drivers until I know that the correct procedure...

    Any ideas would be appreciated...

    Arghh!

    Hello

You should try to activate the WLAN using the hardware on the laptop switch (must be defined on and with the combination of keys FN + F8.
    Did you do that?

In addition, you can get all the drivers for your laptop on the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

I assume that you have installed your laptop with a disc of Microsoft, so you should try it with the Toshiba recovery disc. It contains an image of the settings from the factory with all the drivers and tools. After that, everything should work fine on your laptop.

    Check it!

  • Satellite Pro 6100 - Wireless Lan cannot be activated.

All afternoon - I have just my hands on a Satellite Pro 6100 and am impressed to bits with it.
The only thing that is bothering me is put on the wireless LAN doesn't work. Here is what I tried:

    (1) use the switch on the left side of the laptop - push back for "wireless WE"-no led or an indicator.
    (2) use the FN and F8 for the shortcut - key no joy.
    (3) install all the drivers available.

It is to have no chance at all. I currently have Windows XP SP2 on board and have lost count of the restarts. I looked at the page update SP2 and found a registry setting, but that does not change. I'm pretty sure that there is a wireless card installed - I found the antenna, but I would appreciate some advice please if anyone has experience this, or is somewhat an expert at this.

Thanks in advance to you all,.

    Select this option.

It worked before or since when did that happen?
You could take a look at the Device Manager if the wlan device is entered correctly without no exclamation point.
Correctly installed all the drivers and updated? Maybe a BIOS update can help.

Of course, the laptop was equipped with wlan? Not all 6100 built in wlan.

  • Satellite A210-ST0 - wireless LAN driver does not work

I recently reformatted my laptop with windows XP, and I have all the drivers working except the wireless Lan driver.
I got the driver from the toshiba page and this is the XP driver. I install it, but the computer still does not recognize that the map has a pilot (appears as a question mark in the Device Manager) does anyone else have this problem? is there another place to get the driver?

PS: I'm pretty good with computers, I just need the driver file and can installed with on an EXE file

    Hmm

What page of the driver Toshiba did you use for the download of the driver?

As I m not wrong not the * Satellite A210 - ST0 PSAFGC * is a Canadian series and therefore, it would be desirable to use the Canadian page for the download of the driver!

    Check this box:
    http://support.Toshiba.ca/support/download/ln_byModel.asp

The WLan card chip could come from Realtek or Atheros.

Last but not least, you should check your BIOS version. If the latest version is available on the Canadian page and then try to update!

    Good luck

Whenever I turn on my laptop in the seem to do not to work. You put the laptop restarting and it works I tried to talk to the pc world, where I had the laptop but I seem to be hitting a brick wall with them.

I had some other Toshiba laptops and never had this problem. I also will not download the date is

Sometimes every reboot of the router can help. ;)

Can you detect some other router in your area?
Do not forget that the same protocol is enabled on the router and laptop.
Often the small error in the WLAN settings is responsible for connecting Wireless does not.

  • For satellite A210-1AS wireless LAN driver

    Hello

The system of Toshiba TEMPO attracted my attention on a Wireless LAN Vista for my Equium A210-1AS driver update. I downloaded it, but it is an Atheros driver, while the properties of the wireless connection show the wireless device or a device Realtek RTL8187B driver RTL8187B.sys.

It's not really obvious why an Atheros driver would be relevant.

    Any suggestions?

I just followed suggestion for you: If the WIFI worked well and you have no problems it leave it as what and enjoy your life. Nobody says that it must always be updated. I use my laptop almost 6 months without updates and it works well.

  • How to find on my Satellite L350-21U wireless LAN adapter

Today, I got a message through Toshiba Tempro that an update to the network driver is available for my laptop which has Windows7.

However, there are a few possibilities that is INTEL, ATHEROS or REALTEK.
How can I find what LAN driver is installed on my laptop.

Please note that I am not so familiar with computers.
An instruction step by step would be appreciated!

Your laptop has Intel WLAN card but if the WIFI works well don't change anything.

    Hello

I need your kind help in this issue, think I'm dealing with my laptop. The driver disappeared and I can't. I tried to download from toshiba support, but it did not work also.

    OS: Vista home
    Model: Satellite A200-1BJ

Also, whenever I try to use my modem it does not work and I get the message 'no dial tone' although the phone line works.

pls advise me on these issues

    THX
    Khalid

    Hello

what driver you downloaded? For Intel or Atheros? It would be really interesting because if you have installed the wrong driver, it s possible that it doesn´t work. So if you try the two pilots, one of them SHOULD work.

    With regard to your Modem:

Go to control panel and then open the phone and Modem Options, and then choose the "Modems" tab, choose the modem you´re to help. Then, a window should appear where you must choose the tab "Modem". There is a "Control dial" setting where you must uncheck the box "in waiting for the dial tone before dialing."

After that, the modem should work.

    Welcome them

  • Satellite C55 - C PSKWSV - not able to install Realtek Wireless LAN Driver

    Hello

Whenever I try to install the Driver Realtek Wireless LAN 2023.17.731.2015 using Toshiba Service Station, extraction ends and permissions invites pop up, I click Yes but nothing happens. No other window does not appear, the driver does not disappear in the list of the software updates in a gas station. It's just as if nothing is happening.

No idea why this is happening?

    I use a Toshiba Satellite C55 - C PSKWSV with an OS 64-bit of Windows 10.

Hi my C50 - B Satellite did the same thing.

  • Satellite U940 - update Realtek Wireless LAN Driver

I just upgraded my Satellite U940 PSU6VA - 00S 002 Windows 8 to 8.1 of Windows and am currently following the instructions of the upgrade from here. I noticed that European and Australian Toshiba sites include a 'Realtek Wireless LAN Driver' in their list of downloads driver for Windows 8.1 for the Satellite U940:
    - European page
    -[http://support.toshiba-tie.co.jp/windows81/drivers/PSU6V_Up_au.htm]

However, I have never noticed any a Realtek wireless LAN driver on my computer, before even that I have upgraded to Windows 8.1. I've only seen in Device Manager network cards:
    -Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2200
-Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller (which I believe is a wired LAN driver, not a LAN wireless driver).

So my question is: do I have to download the Realtek wireless network driver or is it not suitable for my system?

    > So my question is: do I have to download the Realtek wireless network driver or is it not suitable for my system?

Your laptop was equipped with Intel wireless network adapter and NOT card Realtek WLan and therefore the Realtek WLan driver does not need to be installed.
You should consider a fact: there are different laptops on the market models that are equipped with different material parts. Some support the Realtek WLan card and some models were equipped with modules WLan Intel and that's why you can find some drivers (like Realtek Bluetooth Driver Package Filter) in the driver from the list of downloads that are not essential for all models.
