  Hello

  I just bought Satellite U400-15B and am finding it takes very long to start Vista, I went into msconfig and disabled the things I don't use and stuff that I think is not necessary, but it is still having to wait ages before that I can use the laptop. I have enough RAM and processor speed, so I don't think that the specifications of the laptop are a problem

  Is there something that can be done on this slow start, any help would be appreciated.

  I think slow start or laptop slow operations depend on good configuration of the OS. I played with this last month and I am now convinced that Vista starts and runs on my laptop.

  What you can try is to put cheap keyboard. I saw today new keyboard for Satellite A300 for only 15 euro.

  Had two problems with my U400-15B which I hope to solve.

  (1) the first problem is that I noticed that my internet sometimes seems to weigh on Internet Explorer, when using the Web site who have a couple of images e.t.c.
  It freezes but the rest of the laptop works very well - I want to say you can go to the start menu and other programs very well. However, if you open Microsoft Word, while this is the case, it will take a little more time to load than normal upward. Anyone know what this might be or how I can fix this problem?

  I just got my Satellite Pro C660D back from repair (for a faulty fan), but the screen does not light when I start the laptop.

  Hi, I tired a few different versions installed PPV, but still not getting installed Toshiba button support (so the buttons for the illuminations and CDDVD do not work). Anyone know how to get these installed application?

  I uninstalled all Toshiba applications to clean up my computer and now I need to use it. Any idea, what other application with PPV I have to install?

  What version of Toshiba value added package have you tried to install?

  For the Satellite U400 normally you only the VAP for buttons of enlightenment. Check again the Web from Toshiba website and download the correct version of VAP:

  On the Toshiba page are 4 different U400 models listed in order to choose the one that suits before you download the VAP.
  And don t forget to delete the old version first, restart the computer and then install a new.

  Hi, I would appreciate the help. I have a new L300D-15 ter and we have problems with the webcam. It's less than a week. We use MSN a lot and noticed that sometimes the webcam has become black while on a video call - when I say black you could see us like shadows of contour.
