  Hi all

  Forgive me if I use the malapropisms of terms here, but what I would like to make is the following:

  In my vi, I need that the user enters a name and path for saving a file. I would like to sort it by default in the path of the file save box the next time this program is executed (the computer may be turned off between runs).

  I did some research online but no available-it can be that I am not describing the problem correctly. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could go to do this? It seems that it should be something very simple, but it has upset me.

  For example, you can save it in the system temporary folder (there is a way for this constant!) or next to the executable. If it must be different for each user, place the ini file in the default folder or the default data folder.

  If you have LabVIEW 2009, you have a few more predefined places: have a look at get_system_directory. Simply put the ini compared to one of these locations, and he'll know how to find them later.

• Interactive report 'Save by default' does not not for me on hosted APEX

  Created an app on Oracle APEX Hosted site (apex.oracle.com) with an interactive report. Modified the column settings in the interactive report and went to 'Save the report' and does not appear the selection list "save under" to allow me to "Save as default". It's like APEX is not recognize me as a developer even if I am logged in as my account Admin I have even a "Developer" account I created and the same problem happening there as well.   I'm looking for some great ideas for how best to extract a complete xml file xml nodes and save each in a path specified in the file system, by incremented for each file... file name File1, 2, 3, 4.

  I have a process in workbench that takes an xml as input file (XML full below). The complete solution, I'll have an unknown number of child nodes to record.

  You want to save each book of the child (< indexRec >) on the file system. Lets say C:\temp\records\file1.xml (..) (2 xml etc.) and with a content as.

  Hello

  You need create a loop in your process on Workbench. First count nodes and assign a variable of integer type.

  /process_data/@number = count(/process_data/xmlComplete/archiveIndexRecords/indexRec)

  Then you need to get the data from the first node to write to the disk.

  / process_data/FirstNode = / process_data/xmlComplete/archiveIndexRecords/indexRec [number (/process_data/@i)] (I did another variable of integer type that is 1 as default.)

  When you get the data from the first node set a document variable and write down on the disc. Then add 1 to the variable i and control it with the number variable (number of nodes). Decide for the next record or not.

  I tried to put a new font size of system for all finder windows, but in fact it does not. Every Finder window displays now 11 or 12 characters, but I tried sure 11 as default. Why it does not work? • Question of Save as default profile for this monitor

  My English is bad.

  I have Windows 7-64, PC, intel AMD i5, 12 G of Ram, graphics card gpu Nvidia quadro K600, X-Rite DisplayPro, i1Profilor software calibration device vs. 1.5.4.

  Color management Panel, tab device, verified my settings for this device box, use Windows display calibration boxing verified and gry as she is meant to be etc.

  Work in my user acount everthing was fine until suddenly, when I need to use a new profile for my monitor in my session and want to set as default for this device profile by clicking on the button, I get the message "incorrect parameter". With the button Add, I add a profile already installed by windows, for example sRGB together IEC61996 - 2.1 and tryto it by default with the button "use as default profile for this device", the same message. The only way to assign a default is to delete the real profile designated as default color management system to the next on the list "by default".

  If I change to a different user on the same PC account, everything works fine for this user, but not on mine. When I click on the button "set default profile" is OK.

  I'm trying to uninstall i1profiler and X-Rite and reinstall, twice, nothing has changed.

  I tried to chat with a technician for microsoft, and he only referred me to the help on profiling and Calibration page help in microsoft. I know this page by heart and there is no response he solve my problem. He didn't know what to do!

  I understand that the account on which you are facing problem is account owner who has administrator privileges. So I suggest to create a new administrator user account and check the status.

  This is a diagnostic stage, if everything works well in the new user profile it means there is a corruption in the profile owner.

  Im not quite clearly your senario... You have two installations of windows 8 in different partitions? or in a single partition, as an upgrade? and showing two options boot menu at startup?

  Try the system configuration utility... Press the windows key and r and type msconfig and click ok...
  Then you can edit anything and as default and change the timeout values... the value of the start you want as default... and set the time-out value as 0

  

  Note: If you accidentally delete your work boot entry, your windows boot will not... so take care ... proceed at your own risk...

  This is not what my question was going, it's the default location which is screwed, but I realized that the problem has been fixed in an update and update of my version of the Acrobat Enterprise is not (go figure, they are paid only to provide this 30 + employees!)  I will mark this as done.
