Save as Word

I am a paid subscriber of Adobe, but I can't save my pdf as a word document. I looked at the help and there is no record in the Word icon in the corner right as they say, there should be. What I am doing wrong?

Hi raydar77017749,

When you open a PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Reader application, you get "Export to PDF" option on the tools on the right pane.

You must click on it and select "Microsoft Word" in the menu drop-down under "convert to" and then click on convert to blue box below.

Please check the screenshot below:

Make sure you are signed with your Adobe ID in the application.

You can also export a PDF to Word online here: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf

Let us know if you are still having a problem.

Kind regards

Meenakshi

  • Is there a way to warn users when the wording isn't 100% and save technical wording which is not 100%

We are on v6113 in non-prod.  Among use cases that our product designers raised is the possibility to record a formulation which is not = 100.0000%.  They would like to than the warning that it is not 100%, but they would also like the page don't not to automatically calculate when recording.  I can't find the correct configuration to provide this behavior.  Everyone knows who she is and if she has to be enabled or disabled?

    Thank you.  BeckieC

    Hi Beckie,

We have a standards alert configuration can help you (Works 6.1.1.0.0 and liberation after him).

It is true as the value by default, and in your case, you can set to false. When set to false, the behavior is as follows:

1 present the following errors to the user in the control panel of the standard deviation:

    On the tab of Formulation:

"% Batch values must match 100% before continuing."

    On stage

"The values of step % need equal 100% before continuing."

    2. do not normalize the percentages or calculate

    3. do not let the user leave the page, open the exit popup or save the wording until the percentages equal 100

    hope this helps,

    Thank you

  • Save a word to PDF document

I recently bought a new computer. Adobe has not been installed. So, I downloaded Adobe Reader DC.  I'm having a hard time finding how to save a Word 2010 document in PDF format.  Why can't launch the Word document and save to the PDF format without the tool bar on the right side of the screen.   I've been unsuccessful open the Word from Adobe document and save as PDF.  Adobe is no longer free? Do I have to purchase the product in order to save a Word document to PDF?  Thank you.

Adobe Reader has been and remains free, but he was never able to create PDF files from any file format. Do you need to buy or Adobe Acrobat (the latest version of the reader is confusingly called Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, but it's not Adobe Acrobat), or an online subscription.

    Hi imanip57749641,

Could if it you please let me know this Adobe online service that you have subscribed?

You may be able to connect to your account using the Adobe ID credentials to convert word to PDF file.

After conversion, you can download and save the converted file on your computer and transfer it to the flash drive.

You can even locate all your converted files by clicking on the "Files" tab

    Hoping to hear from you.

Highlight all in the email (CTRL + A open email with the cursor was clicked in the body of the message), press CTRL + C.

Open Microsoft Word.  Click somewhere in the body of the document.  Press CTRL + V to paste what you copied.

Now - you said attachment... Why can not save you it on your computer, open it directly?

  • Save a Word Doc from desktop in Windows Works word processor

Last week, the ability to save a document, Word of Windows works as an Office Word Document (doc) has disappeared from the choices in the Save as drop down in my Windows program, it works.  The only options that remain now are works (wks), Rich Text, only text and HTML.  In the year and a half, I had this laptop and Windows Vista with works that I was always able to save as doc when I send a document to those who have the office window--suddenly it is no longer possible.  I looked everywhere to see if there is an option where I can add the 'doc' save option back without success.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Above is the tip on how to do it.

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  • When you save a Word document, I am able to open it from Word, but he disappears from records files/Documents

My files and folders have 'disappeared' my documents AND my Libray.  If I create a document in Word and save it in a subfolder that is supposed to be in the folder My Documents, I can later return to Word and reopen the document from there.  But if I go to "My Documents", it isn't here.  If I copy the path of the document and do a search for this document, he says that he can't find it!  Fortunately I was able to access it in Word (this also happened with my Excel and PowerPoint files), but I'm afraid that the files will disappear permanently!

  • When you save a Word document to PDF format, how can I do NOT to incorporate fonts (essentially save as image only)?

When I 'print' a Word document to PDF fonts are included.  I guess that in doing so, it is then possible to make the file editable.  If I take a picture of my document and save it as a PDF, then obviously, the fonts are not included.  I want to have one PDF file like the other, but the document is hundreds of pages long I don't really want to take a picture of each page.  Y at - he made another way saved PDF and take the embed fonts?

    Thank you!

If you don't have Acrobat, but the free player. You can't do it with this application.

  • I get an error that Word (running locally but is Office 365) has stopped working when I try to save a word.doc to a .pdf file?

Why does the word end when I try to save a .pdf file?

I assume you are using the Save in format PDF Adobe Acrobat CC feature.

If this is the case, the problem is in the code of Microsoft for which an update was issued the week last by Microsoft. Update your Office 365 and the problem should go away.

  • When I save from Word or Pages of Mac, Adobe Reader page numbers in the footer that I don't understand. How can I get rid of them?

When I save a document in pdf format, Adobe pdf displays the numbers of pages down which I didn't have in my original document footers. This happens when recording the word or Pages of Mac. Is it possible to get rid of them?

It depends on. With the player, you can not. Adobe Reader is simply to show you the pdf as it was created.

It seems that you use Mac? If so, you can use the pdf generator Mac so should ask in the Mac forums.

  • TELL installed, but cannot save the Word document in CS

I installed the CIS, but cannot save Word/Excel/PPT 2003 files using Save as. What I did wrong or what did I miss? There's no info on the installation/use of CIS Guides.

Using Windows Explorer, everything works fine.

    Some info:
University Complutense of MADRID: 10.1.3.5.0 (090707) (Build: 7.2.4.11)
    DesktopIntegrationSuite 2009_07_02 (8.2.0.959)
    CoreWebdav 2009_06_17 (build 30) br - 10 g - 10.1.3.5 - liberation

    Thank you!

    What do you have installed?

TELL or CIS - you mention both.

CIS is something quite different, which provides an API that exposes the services of the University Complutense of MADRID within the J2EE applications.

You need to install are the Windows of DIS client components. If you do this there is (if I remember correctly) an option in the installation wizard you need to SAY desktop applications to integrate with (word, excel...).

    So either
1.Installer SAY (if you have not already done)
2 put updated your installation SAY (just re-run the program installation or go to settings > Panel > Add Remove Programs > change or remove programs andtick the box for integration of speech)

  • The other day that I upgraded to Mozilla Firefox, since then, when I save a Word document on my desktop, I get a strange looking icon instead of the 'normal' Word icon.

I'm sorry, I don't understand how to use this help page. I don't know what to do. I click on the question of the post and the issue is not validate. Please do your best, you can help me, thank you.

The icon appears to be just a preview of the content of the actual document? Office has a function to display thumbnails of the documents. You may have noticed in the dialog box save as that you can check a box to "save thumbnail".

In the research on this topic, I found a clear way to block those to display once they are in the document.
