• Lack of save the places

  My computer had corrupted files so I had to back stuff up to my D drive and reboot my computer to factory settings. Before I rebooted it I put the downloads folder in my backup disk. Now, after that I restarted the computer, I can't save anything on the desktop in the Save as box more, because the office is missing. The download folder is now in my documents and I can't select just on the side bar, because it's too absent from the sidebar. Many forums say drag Office of drive C to your Favorites in the sidebar in the Save as window. I am confused because I can't find office and even trying to move downloads to Favorites it does not work. What should I do?

• Illustrator CS3 crashes when changing places during save or place. Mac, Yosemite

  After the update to Yosemite and fixing the original problem of not being able to open Illustrator (older Java installation). Now Illustrator crashes whenever I try to select a location to save the file. If I save without changing the location of the file is not a problem. Also, it crashes when I want to PLACE a file and I try to navigate to the location.

  MacBook Pro (2012), OSX 10.10.2 (Yosemite).

  Adobe Illustrator CS3 (Yes, I know).

  Change fonts doesn't seem to be a problem. Large files are OK. It is only when you navigate to a location using a drop-down menu in the SAVE AS or PLACE dialog box.

  Any ideas of what might be wrong?

  New information: I changed the format of the adobe dialog box and it solved my problem. I'm leaving HERE in the case that everyone is facing it. However, I wouldn't mind know why it will not work the OS dialog box.

• How to export or save Favorites in Audition CS5.5?

  I intend to uninstall Audition CS5.5 of my current computer to install on a new, but I have sunk a lot of time in favorite decision that I don't want to lose in the transition. In AA3, you could save on your scripts and even change, but I can't find anything similar for the Favorites in CS5.5.  Where are hidden data?  Any help would be appreciated.

  Years ago, I had a PC which allow me to create short (probably 100 characters, not even not at the level of Twitter) quotes as screensaver.  I'd like to be able to do in El Capitan, but don't know how.

  I thought to try to transform the simple text or Word documents in JPEG format and their use in a folder of photos I could choose as a screen saver in El Capitan, but I have no idea how to format a Word document to JPEG format, as opposed to a PDF file.  (1) is there a simple way to create a text-only screen saver (or perhaps to add short text phrases to an existing screensaver program in El Capitan)?  (2) in the case, could someone tell me how to do what I want to do?  Thanks for your suggestions!

  You can create a folder of images of text with Keynote, if you have installed.

  Create a new document, Keynote, then write a single citation per slide.

  Using "file > export" to export slides as image to the folder files:

  

  And the application overview allows to split a PDF document in a single image per page.

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to fix the problem and to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

  What version of Photoshop are you using? We support layer to Smart object bound in more recent versions, and the source does not have to be saved in PSB format.
