Save for web in PSE 9 does not

I try to use PES 9 on a new Macbook Pro (it used to work perfectly on my old) however this new laptop running Snow Leopard vs Lion that I used to run.  It seems to work fine except for the 'Save for web' feature that doesn't work at all now, the dialog box does show up at all.  I tried to uninstall, reinstall, updates running, nothing works. Any suggestions?

Go to your usernams > library > Preferences and delete everything that you can find which starts recording Adobe for preferences (usually followed by a number) Web.

Lion you will have option to click on the menu go to make your username > library visible folder.

  • GIF/save for Web problem (PSE 7)

I tried searching for an answer to this problem, but nothing seems to fix everything that happens.

Recently, I had to replace my laptop and from Windows XP to Windows 7.  I transferred the PSE 7 from the old system to the new system and have had no problems with it - until now.  I have an image in format Photoshop 52 - layer I want to save as an animated .gif, with each layer as a different image.  File > > Save As has the ability to save layers as frames, but if I check it, then click on 'Save', nothing happens.  Nothing at all.  On my old system, I would get a new dialogue with options like the quality, duration by frame, loop, etc., but that doesn't happen any more, and there is nothing to save (if I'm going to find the new .gif file, it's just not there). If I do not choose "Layers in images", dialogue .gif does so very well and it has no difficulty to save it as a static .gif file.  But it seems that she won't just save it in animated format.

I'm having the same problem with "save for Web".  Or the option of the file menu or typing command will bring up dialogue to let me record this way.  He thinks maybe a second, but does nothing else and does not record the image.

I tried to reset the layout, just in case the dialog box has been moved somewhere that I wasn't just to see and I tried to reset the preferences to save it for the Web, but none of these things worked.  No explanation as to why a .gif animation 'layers as images"is the only format that is not saving correctly?

I also tried old connections animated that I created with XP, and they will not re - save as animation connections either opening.  I get her "do you want to save changes" dialogue, but clicking on 'Yes' does nothing and does not record updates.  I am at a total loss for why this feature no longer works.

If you right click on the shortcut of items and choose Run as administrator,

It does make a difference or not save for Web work?

Registration of the Web dialogue box is the same dialog box that you would get when checking the layers as frames

in the Save as dialog box.

  • Save for web dialog PSE 8 for mac...

    .. where is he?

    Hi all

I recently bought PSE 8 for Mac (running 10.6.2) after having used the trial version for a few hours. I'm PS 7 known (Win version), but discovered that I can do about 95% of the things I've done with 7 PS. Note: this does not mean that I used all the features of the PS 7 lol. In any case, work with it for a few days now and I must say I'm quite impressed, but... where is the registration of the Web dialogue box? Or is it Windows function only? (If so hurray for documentation.) I know that I can choose all kinds of file types when you use "save under...". ', but for me it is not optimized for the Web. On the other hand... If it's... I'm done digging the Web. Friend...

You will find that much, a lot in PSE will not work or does not just when executing a standard account, unless you go through the whole of the change permissions on all folders for the EP, including making save for Web separately. It was simply not designed to run from nothing, but an account admin, for some reason strange adobe. This thread tells how for PSE 6, but you should be able to understand the equivalent files for PSE 8:

  • Photoshop CS6 save for Web doesn't work do not

I use photoshop CS6 (cloud) on Mac (10.7.5) and when I use the save for Web > save, I got the following popup:

    -Adobe save for Web error-

Unable to complete this operation. An unknown operating system error has occurred.

    PhotoshopScreenSnapz001.png

I've been using CS6 for months and it worked fine yesterday before closing did. Today morning to start it did not work more.

I tried uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop, erase my presets, shut down/start, drive repair, repair permissions, without success.

The backup levels of web service always works in CS5.

    Any help will be appreciated,

    Raphaël K.

Hi RaphDuBus and thanks again;  I was able to solve the problem, in my view, completely.  The explanation is long, and I just included it in the thread at http://forums.adobe.com/message/5242626.  Gasoline seems to have been in the actual permissions manually (via Get Info) on the folder (the whole folder) to the user/Library/preferences.  I have no explanation of how they may have changed;  they have been changed in the CS6 download / update processes, perhaps because of a certain inconsistency 10.5, or that they had been changed earlier, and for some reason any did not prevent the save for Web working in CS5.5.  More details are in the thread referenced above.  Thank you!

I would add that the second problem related to the error message that appear on Photoshop (a message about not being able to save the preferences file) to quit smoking was also fixed.  It makes sense, both the Photoshop preferences and levels of preferences Web backup are included in the folder that was apparently the issue.

My save for Web option is passed in this last update. I uninstalled and reinstalled. This feature is gone? That's happened?

He is now under file > export > save for Web (Legacy)

It was fine, where it was, but whatever! Just glad that it's still there.

  • Save for web doesn't work do not

Newbie here! "' I will have a picture open in E7 Edit and when I click on" save for Web "nothing happens.  Thanks for any help.

Make sure that you use an administrator account. If Vista, be sure to also right click on the launch of the components icon and select "Run as Administrator" from the context menu.

  • Save for precedent: the "Attachment" object does not exist in the previous version

    I'm trying to save a very simple VI from LabVIEW 2013 SP1 to LabVIEW 2009 but I get this strange error.  The VI contains only basic ex that are available in all versions of LabVIEW (shift logical AND Select,<=, u8). ="" when="" i="" try="" to="" save="" it="" for="" labview="" 2009,="" it="" gives="" me="" the="" following="">

Missing object.  The "Attachment" object does not exist in the previous version.

I thought first of all it had to do with being possessed by a lvclass, but even after that I removed the class (and unplugged from the lvclass) it always gives me this warning.

When I try to open it with 2009, it will fail to load the schema-block (error 6).

The next thing I tried was to copy the block diagram for a new VI and re - create the connector pane, but that doesn't change anything.

    Any ideas?

Maybe "attachment" made reference to an attached comment (the arrow of a free label for an object on the diagram). I don't expect the presence of attached comments to cause a SFPed VI to not open, but it's the only thing I can think of. Try to remove any comment attached to your diagram and SFPing and see if that solved the problem.

  • 14.2.1 day save for Web doesn't work do not

Opens an image that I made at the time thanks to record for returns of dialogue (as an image of normal 72 dpi "web") of the Web has 300 dpi image every time. Does not. This happens every time since the 14.2.1 update. I thought need me somehow, but it's the software.

    I'm under 10.8.5 on a 6 hearts 3.33 GHz

That is probably why, because the resolution is part of the metadata.

If you don't use any, so that strips all the metadata of the file, including the resolution.

(since there is no resolution and operating systen hass to assign a value, the normal reading is 72)

    Help me please.

    Hello

    1. were you able to see the front dialog box?

    2. did you of recent changes to the computer?

This happens because your screen resolution is less than the required minimum of 1024 x 768.

You can try to change the resolution of the monitor and check.

For more information, see the link:

Change settings display on multiple monitors

    Change the screen resolution

You can also refer to Adobe support links and also post your request in the Forum from Adobe for assistance:

  • CS6 Question w/save for Web, do not use the Document DPI

I'm creating an Action where I take a document large PSD format (photography) and change the size of the image at 72 DPI and 1000 pixels on the long side of the photo. If the action flattens the image and then modified the image 72 DPI and 1000 pixels on the longest side. The Action then runs thru photo save for Web, while this does not reduce the file size and it creates the appropriate pixel dimensions, it does not recognize the change DPI and delivers the original document of 360 DPI.

I can take the same image, resize the image at 72 DPI and 1000 pixels on the longest side and then "save under" a jpg file. This always creates a 72 DPI jpg. What gives save for Web?

The PPI figure is stored as metadata. If the Metadata in SFW parameter is set to 'All' the 360 PPI is preserved.

So any setting less than 'All' will throw the Print metadata and set a default value of 72 DPI.

  • Save for Web, not to recognize individual work plans

I am trying to record individual ads using save for Web and for some reason it does not recognize the individual work plans. Instead, when I select a work plan and you try to save to the web, all of my work appears instead of all that is on the selected artboard. Is anyway to circumvent this?

    Capture.JPG

Have you tried to use the Clip to the artboard box on the size tab of the Image?

  • Generator is not using the algorithms of "save for Web"?

I use the generator for a while, but I noticed that the files are different in size and quality, so if I just saved for the web.

It seems more like the generator uses "save under" two save files and not the "save for web" which is the standard for preparing files for the web and devices

If anyone else has noticed that? can confirm?

OK - generator does not use SaveForWeb, but uses instead a stand-alone library to save its image files.

With audio slideshow created in PSE 9 plays well in edit.  When brought to burn items from the Prime Minister for the dvd, the audio does not play.  He appears in the edition, but no sound is played.  It happens regularly.  What setting could be wrong?

Thank you very much!   At your suggestion, I've selected out, burn to disc, DVD.  A window shows requiring Save have *.wmv.  OK, reluctantly saves.  Automatically opens first.  Preview has no audio.

Instead of burning to disc, I chose Edit in first.  The preview has the video and audio.  Engraving option asked under wmv.  BUT by selecting the tab burn, then disc, dvd, part took place smoothly and dvd resulting contains actually the audio and the video.  Yes!

She should not be incompatible and hard, but I could never have succeeded without help.

    Thanks again.
