Saw the redirect page after a short break

I don't know that it's easy to do--cannot know what key words to search on here to see if this has been answered before.

How do you view a page for a period of time, say 10 seconds or so, and then redirect to another page? I want to have a thank you page is displayed once a person submits a form, and then having the page redirect to the index page after a short period.

Thank you

I hope this helps.

  • Navigate to the correct page after login

    Hi Ben
    I have a list of links that navigate on different pages. Some of the pages that links navigate to be approved, so page 101 is presented to the user. When the user connects, page 101 ordered them on page 1 (at home). How can I make the experience smoother users taking them on the page that they have planned to go to. A few times this page will be in another application.

    Thank you
    Ben

    Ben,

    When you use this format first (P_FLOW_PAGE =>: APP_ID |) (': 1'), the result should be that the login page after is the originally requested page (deep link). If no page has been requested, say just specified the application in the connection of execution ID, then the login page after page of the current application 1 will be.

    When you use this second format (P_FLOW_PAGE =>: APP_ID), the result should be that the login page after is the originally requested page (deep link). If no page was requested, say that you have specified just what ID application in the connection of execution, then the attribute of the application homepage link would be used for the connection URL after-service.

  • Redirect to the original page after login

    Hello, I'm new in the Fusion of the ADF, I'm trying to get my program to do the redirection, submitted by the user, after logging, page example: otherwise

    the user is connected to the session, and someone is trying to access a path in the browser (... faces/protected/admin/page.js) JAAS (Yes, I use JAAS, JAAS not ADF security, so I tried that before JAA redirect to the login screen, he kept the URL TO which the user has tried to do that when connecting the user to the system, it redirected to this page) not a standard page...

    I tried to recover using this url PhaseListener, filter using the filter applications (/ *) and using the < f: event > someone at - it suggestions?

    OBS: authorization and authentication with JAAS is ok, I wanted to just implement this dynamic redirect

    I create the hidden entrance and a button to test the parameter:

    public class test {}

    @ManagedProperty(value="#{param.from")

    private String

    I don't know if the injection with @ManagedProperty will work.

    So, first make sure that hidden field a correct value (you can check this in the source of the page, or you can add a component any visible...)

    If this value is correct, you can try to evaluate EL inside your connection method with:

    public static String evalAsString(String p_expression){
        FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
        ExpressionFactory expressionFactory = context.getApplication().getExpressionFactory();
        ELContext elContext = context.getELContext();
        ValueExpression vex = expressionFactory.createValueExpression(elContext, p_expression, String.class);
        String result = (String) vex.getValue(elContext);
        return result;
    }

    and then:
    String from = evalAsString("#{param.from}");

  • Redirect the user to the previous page after login

    Hello

    The login process on page 101 of the application redirects the user to page 1 after successful login. If the user is currently on page 9 of the application, the session expires and the user is redirected to the login page. Now when the user connects again, can redirect us the user to the page 9 instead of page 1?

    Thank you
    Machaan

    Tony, when the session expires after idling, wouldn't the point of application is invalid and so no point of application of the new session value any?

    Machaan,
    My suggestion would be to save the current page to a variable preference of the user (by saving it to an application process that is running on the page of each page load). Extract the value of this preference after connection and redirect to this page (owa_util.redirect_url) if it is not null. On logout, delete this preference, so that you are not redirected to this page in the next connection.

    Note that the implementation of your condition (using any approach) could lead to problems that you might want to consider.
    For instance if the user was in a page that has a dependent process/calculations onload on some elements of the page (another page set) as would be the case with a child page/edit record of pages; It can generate many unforeseen errors when you connect and redirect to this page without setting any of these elements.
    Another case would be when these pages were opened in pop-up windows or the content of the iframe (and which should be called in a different page) and the parent page has expired without any submission (so once again is the child page last page)

  • The session-state item values are used is not in the redirection Page

    Hello
    I have a P7_PERIOD point Page, I put the value of the session state for the click of a button. I can confirm that the value of P7_PERIOD is correctly set in session state after the button is clicked. When I try and P7_PERIOD allows to set the value of an element in another page (P17_PERIOD) on the click of a button, it does not recognize the value of new session state.

    For the second button, I'm telling you "Redirect to Page in this application" on Page 17
    Place these items: P17_PERIOD
    With these values: & P7_PERIOD.

    P7_PERIOD has the correct values in session state, but passes the old values to P17_PERIOD during the click on the second button.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

    P7_PERIOD has the correct values in session state, but passes the old values to P17_PERIOD during the click on the second button.

    Redirections are run in the browser using URL generated during page processing. This means that the redirect for the second button URL uses the value of P7_PERIOD is during the broadcast of the page, not as it is in session state after it is defined by the first button.

    The second button must execute a submit and branch to retrieve the new value of P7_PERIOD. If there are page accept treatment that should not be run when the user clicks this button, use a branch point before the execution of these processes (for example on submit: before calculating), or condition the process on the other buttons.

  • How to continue to the next page after that a preloader is loaded

    I did a preloader to my website in flash cs4. I imported into dreamweaver and it works but I can't get it to contiune to the real homepage after he's done loading. Does anyone know how to do this?

    From what I saw on this site, people who have negative things to say about this make sense better than those who praise.  I'm guessing that you're not actually preload anything whatever, and this file is just acting as a kind of Visual effect for your site.  As a preloader, this must be integrated into a web site, Flash and would load the file in the site.

    Anyway, to get it to go to your home page, replace the following line in the onComplete function...

    trace ("Loaded!");

    with...

    navigateToURL (new URLRequest ("http://www.yourdomain.com/yourpage.html"), "_self");

  • DeskJet 930c: avoid the aliignment page after each page

    Hello, since I changed the black ink cartridge the printer prints an alignment with full black rectangles header page after each page I need to print. Is there a way to stop this behavior unconditionally

    Hi @guy_c,

    Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I read your post and see that the alignment is printing after each page, after changing the cartridge. I will do my best to help you with this problem. If this helps you to find a solution, please click on the button "Accept as Solution" down below in this message. If you want to say thanks for my effort to help, click on the 'Thumbs Up' to give me a Kudos.

    This problem occurs for one or two reasons, a problem of power, recharged cartridges or dirty contacts.

    I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
    Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
    Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
    This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

    Reinstall the cartridges.

    I have provided a document for the cleaning of the cartridge and printer contacts, to see if that can help in this situation. Supplies HP inkjet - printing cartridge errors.

    You use genuine HP cartridges?

    If the problem persists, please Contact the HP Support for help. Check the model number and the form to receive a file number for faster assistance.

    Please let me know the results. Thank you.

    The alignment page will print until it completes successfully.  Try print a page of diagnosis as on the Six Solution on this page. Do all color printers correctly?  The alignment will fail if the parties in black and color do not print correctly.

  • Pro8000 prints the alignment page after each print job

    I replaced by a black ink cartridge and printed an alignment page and did a print head cleaning. Now, an alignment page prints after each print job and cycling the printer off, then on. I turned off the printer and unplugged the printer and restarted the computer and still get the same results. I then took each cartridge and reinstall each cartridge and still the same results. I reinstalled the old ink cartridges and still the same results. Running out of paper, maybe cut down another tree. Any help would be apprecaited.

    Hi tommy61944,

    I understand that you have a 8000 Officejet Pro which prints an alignment page after each print job. I'm sorry to hear what is happening, but I'll certainly do my best to help you.

    I would suggest you have a look through this Alignment Page printed each print task, specifically the three Solution: print and evaluate a page impression diagnostic quality. Fact the print look page like the one in Figure 10: print a Page of Diagnostics quality? If not, that's why it keeps printing an alignment, a color can be print not correctly, or will need to be replaced. If your ink levels is all good, so maybe it's the printhead (s). You can clean the print heads manually and remove any buildup that could cause problems.

    Hope this helps, have a nice day!

    Timo,

    I got it works!

    What happened is that I didn't notice that the system generated a method of PollEvent by default for me inside my WangBean after I created the af:poll component:

    {} public void reloadPage (PollEvent pollEvent)

    Add your code here

    }

    Once I pasted my code in the vote started working as expected and the inventory button. Component AF:poll solve my problem.

    Thank you very much and I have learned 2 new staffs ADF on your part, am really appreciated.

    Kind regards
