My operating system precedent is win xp... I have updated for win 7 but, I donno... maybe its crashing here... .when I start the laptop it says that the BROADCOM ROM came out... say it could not load media... I tried with the new lenovo software install... but he says that they do not identify my problem... n no driver found... im a bit confused here... Help me admin. thnx

According to me, it has something to do with your boot priority selection. Go into the BIOS Setup, then set your optical drive as 1 and your main hard drive as 2nd. If there is an option to disable "Network boot", you can do.

Alternatively, you can go in the boot selection menu (press F12 at startup) and select your hard drive from the list.

Hi everyone I need help, why I can't install windows XP on my lenovo 3000 N500 4233-53U? When I boot on win XP and after he load some files it still stops & it become blue screen? Thank you...

Hello, has the same task these day´s. This is my solution.

    1. create a custom Win - CD installation with nLite, www.nliteos.com and
    include Win Service Pack 3
    2. change the Bios setting from AHCI to IDE harddisk
(Native WinXp doesn´t truly support AHCI Mode)
    3. when the installation of XP is complete, download and install the "Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver for Windows XP, Vista (32 bit) - ThinkPad" http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-70477
Follow the instructions "If you don't have a floppy drive...". »

If this does not work with the step 1 and 2 and that you still have a blue screen during the installation, including the drivers of your installation of nLite CD

Currently, there are problems with the download of the drivers on the Lenovo site...... so if you can not download the driver package... send me a message I´ll send you it by e-mail.

    Best regards

  • Problem installing Windows XP Mode in 7 Winjdows

I have a problem installing Windows XP Mode in Windows 7 Pro 64 running on a Dell Latitude E6510 laptop with an i5 processor and 8 GB of ram.  This machine supports hardware virtualization, and it is enabled in the BIOS.

Before downloading software in XP Mode, the MS download required Windows validation Web site.  Downloaded and reported validation validation and a successful installation.  Then I downloaded Windows XP Mode (WindowsXPMode_en - us.exe, 481 052 KB) installation package and the package of Windows Virtual PC (Windows6 1 - KB958559 - x 64 - RefreshPkg.msu, 16 692-Ko).  Then, I installed Windows XP Mode; the installation ran without any problems apparent and reported success.
According to the docs of download site, the next step is to: "... click on the Windows 7 start button , and then select all programs > Windows Virtual PC > Windows XP Mode to begin the installation."
My problem is Windows Virtual PC does not appear anywhere in the selection of all programs list - believe me, I looked.  There is, however, a new directory called
    c:\ProgramFiles\Windows XP Mode\
but it contains no exe file.  It contains a file of 1.2 GB called Windows XP Mode base.vhd - but it is not clear what to do with it.  There is also a tutorial subdirectory.
I tried to reinstall Windows XP Mode (without uninstalling first) but I just get a warning message that the program is already installed.  Windows XP Mode appears on the list "Uninstall or change a program" in the module programs and features in Control Panel.
I tried running (Windows6. 1-KB958559-x64-RefreshPkg.msu(Windows6.1-KB958559-x64-RefreshPkg.msu, goal that throws error 0x8007000d, "The data is invalid."
If at this point, my question is simple, "what to try next?
    Thanks in advance.

The right way to install Windows XP Mode, you must first install Windows Virtual PC, and then install Windows XP Mode.

    You must install both files:

    1 Windows6. 1 - KB958559 - x 64 or x 86 architecture that you run

Restart the system, and then install:

    2 WindowsXPMode_en-we

    ------------

    Uninstall Windows XP Mode:

Click Start, type: programs and features

    Press enter on your keyboard

    Scroll down

    Select Windows XP Mode

Click Change/uninstall in the command bar

    Uninstall Windows XP Mode

    -----------------

    Restart your computer

Proceed with the installation of Windows XP Mode in the right order.

    --------------

If it does not always show upward:

Click Start, type: enable or disable windows features

    Scroll down

Make sure that Windows Virtual PC is checked

    Click OK

    Reboot if prompted

  • Problem installing Windows 7 on Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 13 665D817

    Hello

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 13 665D817 without an operating system and be able to install Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (msdnaa version). I actually had the Thinkpad even before and managed to install Windows 7 withouth any problems.

After starting from the USB stick during installation without hard drive is located. To this end, I insert a second usb key with drivers for AMD AHCI Controller Device Driver for Windows 7 and select the directory of win7 64 bit. A driver to install is offered, but after installing it, it seems as if nothing happened. No disk is detected, and I can't continue the installation.

    thx for the help

(by the way, the proposed here spell check does not recognize "Lenovo" - * lol *)

I saw this happen occasionally during installation via the USB port. In my experience, it is when a USB 3.0 or eSATA/USB combo port is present. It does not occur if start you it from a Windows existing, nor happens during the installation of optical media.

There is something that includes ImageX that you can use to install Windows, but that gets a little complicated.

  • Problems installing windows 7 32 or 64 XP 32

    Hello

I decided it was time to upgrade to windows 7 xp 32. I'm on an IBM Thinkcentre. I did a lot of research but cannot circumvent this problem.
When I insert the cd when the computer runs I get an error message saying that:

"This installation disc is not compatible with your version of windows. To upgrade, you need the correct installation disc. For more information, see your computer system information. To install a new copy of Windows, restart (boot) your computer using the installation disc, and then select custom (advanced option). »

I know that it is common, so when I restart the computer and start the disc I meet another problem. It starts to boot from the disk and say for windows to load as soon as the loading reaches the end of the bar of the computer just stops and I can't do anything. When you start the computer again then turns off after a few seconds.
Advice please? Thank you in advance!

    Hello

You must follow these steps before you try to install Windows 7:

Go to your computer manufacturer's website and check if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model.

    http://support.Lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?LegacyDocID=TCTR-matrix

If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

  • Problem installing Windows 8 on E135

    Good evening everyone,

I got my new Lenovo Think Pad E135 and because I had no windows license I started with the installation of Fuduntu on the HARD drive. Now that I got a new license of Windows 8, I want to install windows 8.

I have copied the files to my external HARD drive, mounted the image and began the installation of windows 8. After startup, I get an error message saying that some media drivers are missing.

I think I accidentally deleted all the drivers that came with the netbook when I installed Fuduntu first. I've read the manual, but it just tells me to download the drivers from the lenovo Web site before installing windows 8.

My problem is that I don't know what drivers to install and how to install them properly.

I intend to install the version professional 64-bit of windows 8 and I bought the E135 no operating system on it.

I can't wait to get help. Thanks in advance. Greetings,

    Nath

I solved the problem. Thank you very much. This is the file which didn't work after all. I also changed the boot options in the UEFI only and it worked.

According to the specifications of the laptop it came with WIN7 64 BITS HOME PREMIUM so the best thing you can do is to install the original recovery image that you got with your laptop and everything should be ok.

    Hello

just a quick question: is the recovery for Vista work? I mean, it sounds like a hardware problem, but usually if the machine worked well before, it must be another problem. The image that was created with nLite is maybe defective...

  • Satellite A200-1YO - problems installing Windows XP Home edition

    Hi guys,.

First of all I'm new here so Hello to everyone here and I hope you can help me with my problems of software.

I recently bought a laptop model Toshiba Satellite A200-1YO provided with windows vista (which must be frank, pants and IMO too demanding for the machine) and I have a problem with vista, because some of its features do not seem to work, for example, I'm having a lot of trouble getting some of the webpages to open now, they simply hang out.

now, I didn't install windows xp but I don't have an external floppy drive. This is not a problem but because I can use Nlite to integrate the drivers in a new ISO of Windows XP.

The problem is that I have 4 sets of drivers: ICH7M_32bit, ICH7M_64bit, ICH8M_32bit and ICH8M_64bit. As I install Windows XP 32-bit while I'm more or less some that I have not need 64-bit drivers but when I install Windows XP by using the modified version of windows xp slipstreamed, what I get at startup is a BSD error telling me that something has crashed on my hard drive , however I can't say which crashed as the screen disappears after 15 seconds if that so I guess there is something wrong with the drivers I use (though I must admit that I'm not sure the drivers 32-bit to use)

advice and assistance regarding being able to install windows xp would be welcome, as I said above, however, I can only use Nlite since I do not have a usb floppy drive.

Satellite A200-1YO has a chip with the ICH8M southbridge Intel GM965.

So you need the driver for SATA ICH8M_32bit.
