  someone had a problem with the computer scanning a document to PDF from printer series wireless e-all-in-one-hp Photosmart 7525? The document will appear in My Documents, but when I try and open the document I get an error message that says that the document cannot be opened. I can scan and open the document as TIF format. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium and I just installed the printer Photosmart 7525. I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer using the CD.

  I see that you are unable to print the PDF scanned documents with your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer. I would like to help.

  You are able to print any other format PDF on the Mac, or the question is just limited to your scanned PDF files? Whether the soft friendly PDF work with - Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader?

  In the meantime, I recommend you try the following steps:

  • Uninstall your printer - click here for instructions.
  • Fix permissions of the disc on your Mac - click here for instructions.
  • Once you have finished running the utility above, restart your computer.
  • Finally, click here to reinstall your printer.

  Fellow Forum members,

  I have a PDF of a 200 pages, I scanned and having a set hard time for the links in the table of contents because of the contradictory numbering between the printed book and Acrobat 9 PDF file.

  To clarify, ONE PAGE of the printed book is not actually start until you reach the PAGE 17 of the book. Because the first SIXTEEN pages of the printed book are numbered using Roman numerals for stuff like the PREFACE and Table of contents.

  On the other hand, a PAGE for the Acrobat PDF file actually starts on a Roman numeral. Therefore, the page counter Acrobat 9 displays paging that is messed up 16 pages in the PDF file.

  There, can someone help me understand what I need to do in my Acrobat 9 for my PDF file has its first SIXTEEN pages numbered using ROMAN numbers and once I hit page 17 YEARS my number start page as a PAGE?  This way the book page numbering will be correspond to the numbering of PDF pages and adjust to the top of my links less intensive work.

  Open the Options menu (drop-down menu associated with the "gear" icon).
  Select "Number of Pages" and look over the configuration options.

  Then, visit using Acrobat to examine the what and the how of this feature.
  In addition, look over 'logical page numbers. "
  In the Acrobat preferences, in the category of the Page, you can check / uncheck the option
  'Use logical page numbers' - this has an impact on what is displayed for pages in the toolbar.

  You should be able to configure ranges of PDF pages to account for what is in/on the scanned images, that you have placed in PDF.

  After spending too much time on this, I decided to post a question. I use AiO Remote printer app on iphone, paired and works perfectly with printer Wifi Deskjet 2540.

  Scan several documents and then it becomes more difficult!

  I want to save my already scanned multiple pages to a pdf file, but there is no option to do so. On adroid devices workes perfectly. Why is there no option to save a scan of multiple page in a single pdf on iphone?

  When I save the documents they turn upward in one multiple separate jpg files folder.

  Following problem. I can't select and send more than one file (in this case the annoying jpg files) at a time. The only "select" option is used to delete them or not.

  Am I oversee things or using your app on iOS has many gaps.

  you were not able to scan multiple pages as uour scan type is set to Image.

  Changes to this document will allow scanning of multiple pages.

  Click the Scan option, then set Input document Type and confirm.

  Now click on the page icon Add (the right) to analyze the nect page until you are finished.

  It will be saved as a PDF.

  You cannot change existing files using the app, it's a scanning application and not a picture editing software.

• LaserJet M1212nf ADF does not pick it up when scanning of the Acrobat PDF document

  I recently bought this multifunction machine.  The software installed without any problems.  When you copy, the documents are taken from the ADF correctly, but if I use Adobe Acrobat to scan from the computer in PDF format, it does not appear to recognize the ADF and the scans from the glass.  I have not tried scanning directly from the computer in PDF format.  I could not find anything in the user manual or the HP support that relates to this.  If anyone had the problem and knows how to solve this problem, I would really appreciate it.  Thank you!

  You should be able to go to the HP scanning application settings to change the DPI setting. It seems that there is a problem with this version of Adobe Acrobat (see link below). You have an older version of Adobe Acrobat, you can test with?

  Try the following steps to see if they will solve this problem: Scan network connection is lost (Mac).

  You have the option to allow the scan to computer?

  I have provided a few steps to manually remove all the old software of the printer and reinstall the latest drivers again if you still have problems.

  Here are the steps: Uninstall HP Printer (Mac) software.

  Move the files or folders to the Recycle Bin, drag and drop.

  • Macintosh HD/Applications / /Hewlett-Packard folder
  • Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support /- delete all files and folders on HP/Hewlett Packard
  • In Macintosh HD/Library/Caches - delete all files and folders on HP/Hewlett Packard
  • Macintosh HD/Library/Documentation/Help /- delete all files and folders on HP/Hewlett Packard
  • MacintoshHD/Library/Frameworks/HPServicesInterface.framework
  • MacintoshHD/Library/Frameworks/HPSmartX.framework
  • Macintosh HD/Library/Image Capture / TWAIN Data Sources /HP Scan Pro
  • In Macintosh HD/Library/Image Capture/Scripts - delete all files and folders on HP/Hewlett Packard
  • In Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences - delete all files and folders on HP/Hewlett Packard

  Move the Macintoshloginwindow.plist on the desktop. NOTE: Does not delete the loginwindow.plist file during the manual uninstallation may cause uninstall be retained.

  • In Macintosh HD/library/printers/hp - delete the folder
  • In Macintosh HD/Library/StartupItems, drag the following files in the trash, HP IO and trap of HP monitor
  • In Macintosh HD/users/username (this should have a symbol of a house next to him) / Library/Preferences, drag the following files to the Trash: * all files starting with com.apple.print, * all files starting with com.hp, * all files beginning with Hewlett-Packard, * all files beginning with HP or HP.
  • In MacintoshHD/users/USERNAME/Library/printers, drag all all-in-one printers listed here in the trash.
  • Drag the icons of HP from the dock and drop it onto a blank space on the desktop. The icon will disappear.

  Close all open windows.

  Restart the Mac.

  Empty the trash.

  Once connected, repair disk permissions.

  1. On the Dock, click Applications, then utilities.
  2. Double-click disk utility.
  3. Highlight your hard drive / partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
  4. Click repair disk permissions at the bottom of the window.
  5. Once the repairs completed, restart the computer.
  6. Restart the computer.

  Install the latest version of the software: HP Easy Start.
