Screen becomes market in unpredictable ways. Scans say everything is OK.
The screen of my laptop started going a week ago. If I forced a stop down and rebooted the screen would work for a while. I had to connect the laptop to a monitor. I tried Windows update and downloaded optional updates relating to graphics and the screen stayed on during 4 days in a row, but it would flicker now and then. Last night the screen came out again, and this morning the screen is back on.
The diagnostics say that the software and the hardware is fine. Is the laptop and HP HDX 16t with Windows 7 home premium.
The common cause for this on a laptop is the cable in the hinge of the lid. An alternative would be to the screen inverter Board. Any of these would be identified by normal diagnostic tests and are both a repair workshop.

Windows Vista crashes, the screen becomes pink with diagonal dotted lines
My HP Pavilion DV9500 laptop started making a few months ago:
The computer and the programs sometimes simply freeze, sometimes the screen becomes a light pink with diagonal lines dotted, and sometimes the laptop itself restarts without warning. The computer is about 3 years old now and have not had any problems before this. I tried to do a clean install of the recovery feature that I don't have a Vista disc to reinstall from, and he always does this. Sometimes the computer will be fine for a few hours and sometimes just after the start it will freeze. A couple of times too, as it starts, Windows will not start and it will say "Not found operating system".

It sounds like imminent hardware failure/issues. Since you did a clean installation of recovery

Satellite L300-PSLB8E - screen becomes all white and the laptop freezes
Hello
I have a Toshiba Satellite L300 PSLB8E. I initially bought with Windows Vista already installed on it. After a few years, I changed the operating system Windows 7 Ultimate. I installed the display and all the other necessary drivers (that is, sound, network, etc.).
After I installed Windows 7, when I use the laptop for a while, the screen becomes all white and the laptop hangs. This happens spontaneously. Sometimes, in less than 10 minutes and other times that it can work perfectly for hours. I checked for loose batteries and other components, but everything seems fine.
Physical damage only that there is a tiny crack on the screen in the bottom right of the screen. The operating system is not good? If I put windows Vista back as it was?
Please advise and help understand me what the problem is with the laptop.
Until we start discussion can you tell me what you do when this happen?
Hard stop and restart?
Is everything OK again when you do?It is not easy to say what exactly is the problem, but I put t think there is problem with OS and preinstalled display driver. A long time ago I installed Win7 Home Premium on friends L300 and it works perfectly.
What you can try is to use the external monitor for a while and see if everything works well. If so, there is no problem with the operating system, drivers or graphics card. It may be that the display problem.

Hello, I have a laptop of HP G60 - 443CL and running windows 7. My screen become white at different positions that it is open. I can get the screen to stay when I opened it all the way. At the time it will start blinking and then turn white, and I have to continue to play with the position of the screen so he can stay on. IM wondering if I need a new screen or if it has something to do with the video
It sounds like a bad connection. You must have your portable inspected. It is always in the period of guarantee?
You can check that it is not the video solution by connecting an external monitor to see if the problem is replicated. I think that it is probably not the case.

Hi demoome
I think that the ECO profile has been selected in Win 7 power Managemnt.
You can change it easily.
Go to control panel (change the icon display, small or large)-> power management
Here you will find plans of different powers.Choose the one you want to use: for example the balance.
Now, click on change Plan settingsNow, you can find the option called the brightness
Here, you can assign the value of the battery and AC adapter mode.
Finally, apply the changes.
All that sHere's a nice video of Microsoft

Whenever I try to download, I get a Security Scan: saying can not download.
Original title: Windows 10
I tried to upgrade to Windows 10. And every time I try to download, I get a Security Scan: saying can not download. Test system to come up with a reason then restarts. Any help would be a great help.
Try to upgrade manually:
Task of pre-required
When you make significant changes to your computer for example updated operating system, you must always back up. See the links to resources on the backup by clicking the link for each version of Windows you are using: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1

- Will remain the documents and applications, or install app must
then
- How to download official Windows 10 ISO files
- How to: upgrade previous versions of Windows using the file ISO for Windows 10
then
- Turn off (preferably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before you perform the upgrade.
- Reboot several times, and then try again.
- Disable the general USB peripherals (for example - smart card reader).
- If you are using a SCSI drive, make sure you have the drivers available for your storage on a thumdrive device and it is connected. During the installation of Windows 10, click on the advanced custom Option and use the command load driver to load the driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not work and the installer still fails, consider switching to an IDE based hard drive.
- Perform a clean boot, restart, and then try again.
- If you upgrade to the. ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during the installation, if you are connected in LAN (Ethernet) or wireless, disable both, then try to install.
- If you are updated through Windows Update, when download reaches 100% disconnect from the LAN (Ethernet) Internet or Wi - Fi, then proceed with the installation.
- If this does not work, try using the. ISO file to upgrade if possible.
- If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
- If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).
