  Hi, I have a laptop Toshiba Equium A300D - 16 c.

  It was fine until now...

  When I press the power button, my laptop turns on but the screen remains black / off.

  I am user and owner of a Satellite A200 - 23Q. The last few days, my laptop appears a certain problem. Its kinda does not.   In a dark room, boot up your laptop and shine a flashlight on the LCD screen.

  If you see a very dark Windows desktop, then you have the chance.

  The backlight inverter has failed and must be replaced. If you are a kind of DIY user, then this is a repair at low cost. If this is not the case, have done so in a store could cost @ $75.00.
