Screen/monitor Powerdown saver

I have a Dell Inspiron 8600 under WinXP SP3. Some time ago, I replaced my standard optical mouse with a Microsoft wireless optical mouse. Now, I noticed that no screen saver won't work and I can't put the screen in power save mode. If I remove the mouse wireless system and use the touchpad, and then both of these features work well. I know that the problem has something to do with monitor power save function or the screen saver timer function. But I don't understand what this has to do with the wireless mouse. Does anyone know of a workaround for this?

Thank you, Tony

I just got it working again. I found that there are 2 mouse listed in device, under Interface devices Manager and the other under the mouse and other pointing devices. Those listed under the mouse and other pointing said devices Wireless Mouse (Intellipoint) while the mouse listed under Interface Microsoft Notebook Wireless Mouse devices. I uninstalled both and also uninstalled the Intellipoint software. I turned off and then started upward. Windows has recognized the mouse wireless during startup. Now, screensaver and monitor powerdown functions work normally. A strange thing is that in Manager devices, Interface devices, he says now Microsoft Hardware USB mouse wireless and mouse and other pointing devices, he says compatible mouse HID. Do not understand but it works fine now.

  • screen monitor flat kogi only allows me to use generic drivers

original title: HELP ME IM GOING INSANE W T F!

I have a pavilion hp 500 and trying to use a screen monitor flat kogi but it let me download the generic drivers and wont let me use the computer factory drivers if it means that I can not use this form. ? cause wen I download the original of this computer for graphics drivers, it gives me some vga and then it goes and does the thing oversized screen mode and gos blank and I go to safe mode and remove the drivers and the more generic Siu, but it limits my consumption of things I can do now... ANY IDEAS ON THIS ONE. !!!

most of the time, the monitors are plug-n-play.

a generic vga driver should be enough to run it

But if not, then the monitor must be returned for credit.

looking at a few reviews on this brand of monitor, it is not very good, and amazon don't sell any more...

and if make you it work, if would probably go bad after three months.

  • Dual screen monitor - bad resolution options

I have a Dell Latitude E6420 running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit which I use to several jobs in various locations.  Most have a docking station connected to one or two screens (one VGA, one DVI).  I run dual screen as often as I can, so, even at a workstation with a single monitor, I use the screen as a second monitor.  I also give presentations from my laptop, usually via a VGA connection port of the laptop.

There is a special meeting room which has two screens plasma inside that depend on a VGA connection (must therefore always show the same performance and appear as the single monitor when connected to the laptop).  I use a lot this room.  Until recently, when I plugged it monitors would show an image full screen to ordinary resolution (800 x 600 or 1024 x 768).  I use these as secondary monitors, with my laptop as main screen.  I have check all monitor activity through the interface of the Intel HD 3000 graphics driver.  The pilot is the last available from Dell (9.17.10.3040).

However, now when I plug in this House, secondary monitors show an image in a hurry (abscissa) and the single resolution options offered by the pilot are 1366 x 768 and 4 x 3.  Yes, FOUR by THREE pixels.  None of these are the native resolution (which should be 1024 x 768).  Nothing I can will get monitors to display full-screen with good resolution.  My colleague, with (in theory) the same laptop has no problem.

There also seems to be some sort of cache or memory for monitor configurations.  Whenever I drop down to a workstation, Windows automatically configures the monitors in the way they were last time I was there (so with the monitors in the correct locations, resolutions, etc.).  Is it possible to reset this memory, so that I can start from scratch?

    Hello

Please contact Microsoft Community. I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing right now. The issue you described can occur due to the incompatibility of the display drivers. So let me help you with that.

You did changes to the computer before the show?

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if it helps:

Uninstall and reinstall the display driver

First download the display driver and save it to the computer. You can download the latest driver to display from the link below.

Uninstall the display driver, then reinstall it. Follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall:

    2. Search now and do a right-click on the display driver , and then click Uninstall.

  • Show only in the middle of the wide screen monitor webites

I have a 25 inch wide HP - LCD HD monitor, since installation, Firefox AND Google Chrome only display the page in the center of the screen all scrunched up, there is nothing on both sides of the screen but the white color of the Web page I'm on (including this page), this only happens in Firefox and Google Chrome, Internet Explorer (which I can't stand) shown in the image on the screen in the same way it would on one normal monitor 19 inches

I tried full screen and it does not fix the problem at all, it is remove the address bar and menu and the image is still in the middle of the screen just crumpled, the attached image shows what look like most all web pages (the image displayed is the page I am currently able to post my question as I just took a screenshot) , on the only page that seems normal is each page in Internet Explorer, the pages I visit in Firefox and Google Chrome, like eBay, Craigslist and any forum I'm going, looks like the attached image, once, this happens only in Firefox and Google Chrome, I just (yesterday) was installing a reformat full and fresh, Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and SP1 , it's the same problem that I had before the reformatting and the new facility, it's the 36.0.1 Firefox Version and he said its updated, I tried all settings, including zoom and text zoom, with he does nothing to broadcast the image on the screen as it is MUST

Any help would be appreciated... Thank you... Jim

Well for some reason, I just reinstalled the video drivers after reformat, I did a few days ago, the pages seem to be more normal looking, when I click on images that they are not distorted, so I have no idea as to why pilots have nothing before, but this time worked

In any case, so far it seems to work as it should, and I have a more or less complete vision

My iphone crashed (long story), the screen has been cleared and does not touch them.

However, the phone works only when I turn it on to unlock I can see colors gradually overall slide unlock graphics.

And when I take the siri button I can see the colors change to save the change to the screen.

There is however no functionality. I can't activate the voice on mode to unlock my phone, and every data recovery tool, I've used so far was not able to bypass the password. I don't know what to do. I have the first year of my life of girls on my phone with no back up.

Please, any help will be appreciated.

You save automatically your device up to iCloud? You have to hold the Apple device to see if the screen could simply be replaced?

Without bringing these photos on your Mac or PC or cloud like SugarSync or Dropbox service, so if you do not have a backup, you can restore your camera roll, it is unlikely that you will be able to recover.

  • Dell E 153FPT Touch Screen Monitor Windows 7 compatible

I recently bought a HP Pavilion P 6000 OS of Windows 7, 64 bit.  I wanted to plug a touch screen Dell monitor that I bought earlier.  The installation disc for the monitor to touch screen says that it is not compatible with Windows 7.  Y at - there a patch I can download for this compatible touchscreen on my new computer?  I went to the Dell website to find a driver download for this product, but they don't have driver for Windows XP.

Since the touch screen was made by Dell, you will have only the level of support they provide. HP and Microsoft is under the obligation to provide a driver for the monitor.  I took a look at the support website and I can confirm in fact that Windows XP is that the only supported operating system. Your screen touchscreen functions are not compatible with Windows 7.

  • How to turn off the LCD on my T420i screen/monitor without spin mode sleep?

I have been using an Ideapad Y450 before this T420i. I love the Fn + F2 shortcut that I turn off the screen without turning to the mode "sleep" or sth like that. It still works as awaken, only the monitor is off, it is still continue to play the music or to continue the download. The display should be activated by moving the mouse or type on the keyboard, but only when you click Fn + F2 again. How can I do that on this new computer? T420i? Or is it not possitive to do? I really want to be able to turn off the screen without turning off or turning to sleep.

On my T400, I can choose Fn + F3 settings, press the combination to see if you have this:

Once you set it to "Turning the display off", in the future, you would be able to quickly shut down.

    Hello

Right click on desktop - Graphis Options - To Output - Select your monitor

Or right click on desktop - customize - display settings - set up your primary monitor and uncheck
Extend the office - apply / OK.

If it again check with your system and video/display manufacturers support and Forums.

    I hope this helps.

  • Losing the application window in the passage of several single screen monitors.

I'm having a problem in windows 7 on my laptop when I spent several monitor to work to a single monitor at home because I was running spread on 2 monitors applications seem to leave orders I had open on the second monitor not visible when I switch to the single monitor at home and reopen the app. Is there a function I need to run to get these missing controls reappear on the single monitor.

If you move the application to the main screen window before closing, it opens on the main screen next time.

If the application window is on the wrong monitor, you can move:

    1. place the mouse on the icon of the application in the task bar, so that the preview of the window appears above it.
2 right click on the preview of the window.
    3. If the word move is dimmed in the menu, click restore , and then right click on the preview again.
    4. click on move .
    5. press and hold down the left arrow key to move the window to the main screen.
    6. press enter .
