Screen of death of Blue :( No function keys don't work, or he a help button to access the options on ASUS T300 Chi

Yesterday, when I was with my laptop ASUS T300Chi received a popup saying not enough memory. Only, I ignored the message and continued to watch a video online. After awhile my phone hung up and nothing works. After 3 minutes, I just did stop hard and turned on again.

When I powered it even once, the ASUS logo has appeared as usual and after a few minutes below message arrives with sad face

Hello

The main method of setting is boot with a Windows 8 or 8.1 disk (if any) and use the command

If you need a Windows repair disk, the method to make one is lower. (Of course you can use

  • Function keys is not working

I have a laptop two months of j020dx m7 Touchsmart from HP Envy Windows 8.1 running old.  My problem is that the F1 through F12 function keys do not work.  Functions void such as the brightness of the screen, the volume of the speaker, WiFi, etc. work (without having to press the "fn" key).  But in programs that use the F1 - F12 function keys, that they do not work.  Pressing one keys activates the Sub-function all the time.  A possible solution to push the F10 or F2 key has produced this problem on this forum (don't remember who now) to enter the BIOS at startup settings.  Here, I should be able to enable or disable the feature keys.  But there is a catch 22 because pushing the F2 key at startup reduces the brightness of the screen which is what I call the Sub-function and not him F2 function.  I thought that the right way for the function keys work is to push F1 to F12 when it is asked in a program and when you want the Sub-function such as brightness, wifi on or off, dimming etc., press the "fn" key and the corresponding function key.  I noticed a Toshiba computer Windows 8 is the same thing.  What is a Windows problem or a hardware problem.  Anyway, what is the solution?

  • New T520 function key does not work do not

    Good forum,

Just got my first ThinkPad, a T520 and after the UltraNav driver update it seems that some of my function keys no longer work. I've seen similar posts on this problem but all stem from different problems.

My volume keys work, but there is no image on the screen on show mute/up/down. My microphone mute button doesn't seem to work at all, nor does the ThinkVantage button.

According to the keys function F2, F3, F5, F6, F7, F8, all do nothing when used with the function button, however I can use F4 to sleep, F12 to Hibernate, the brightness and PgUp all light work.

I tried the BIOS to see if I could affect something there, but I saw no way to do it.

Any help in getting the function keys working properly again would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you much in advance,

    Hello:

The Intel HD graphics card appears under the category of display cards in Device Manager or a Standard VGA adapter is displayed.

Normally when the brightness of the screen is stuck on max and you cannot change it,'re missing you the driver from the chipset, the graphics driver, or both.

Make sure that you have installed the Intel chipset installation and restart utility as well as the Intel HD graphics driver.

What the solution to this problem?

    > Function keys does not work although I have installed the toshiba value added package, which is responsible for the activation of the function keys

Next to the VAP (value added package) you need to install the Flash Utility card support!
Card Flash utility support controls the keys FN and not the VAP! But VAP is also needed.

  • Function keys do not work

My function keys do not work.  I can't even the keyboard of virtual function down most of the time.  Can someone give me some ideas as to what could be the problem?

Because you forgot to tell us something on your computer, I can only speculate. First of all:

The first Question of troubleshooting: If the problem is new, what has changed between the time things worked and the time they do not have?

    1. I guess it's a laptop, but of course I could be wrong. If my CrystalBall (tm) was cloudy and it comes to a desktop computer, try another keyboard.

2 reinstall the keyboard drivers. If it is a laptop, you can find them in the computer Web site portable mftr.. Some manufacturers have specialized keyboard like QuickLaunch from HP and Dell Quick Set software that affects the function FN. Make sure that all of the utilities that are installed.

    3. maybe you have a keyboard with the lock function? Is Numlock on? This does not usually affect the FN keys, but it's worth a mention.

    4. If drivers/utilities are up-to-date, and it is a laptop, connect a USB external keyboard. If the problem disappears, with the computer laptop mftr. for a replacement keyboard.
