But there was a problem: the only option available is "default material use. Is there a way to get around this? I reinstalled Windows there are hoping to fix freezes - that worked 2 days only, and I'm not quite up-to-date with all the updates/drivers. Maybe that's a problem?

  In any case, your ad is really amazing. LCD technology is truly the best for the eyes and the content is illustrated flicker. The old monitors refresh rate of 60 Hz was quite low and result flickered photo. Higher discount rates using the image was stilly and flicker.

  LCD technology is different and standard setting is 60 Hz. In my opinion you should speak with your family doctor. Maybe you need glasses when working on PC. I have some colleagues in my office who use glasses when working on PC.

But when I connect to the laptop even to my new Vizio M43 - C1, it generates a fixed 3840x2160@30Hz and gives me only a handful of options for scaling HiDPI. I want to change frequency to 24 Hz for movies, I do all the time with TVs 1080 p, but I can't find the option anywhere. SwitchResX works, but are there seriously no official way to change the resolution and refresh rate when a 4K TV is connected? Looks like a massive oversight.
