  I just bought the z3 compact xperia and will have problems connecting to wifi. It connects iinitally, but then it says "authentication problem.   You have access to a PC or a Mac? I would recommend that you try to repair the software of your phone using PC Companion or Bridge for Mac, but please note that this will reset your phone and deletion of your data. When you start the phone and set up again, make sure to turn off the option to backup & restore with Google when you add your account because it contains WiFi settings and to avoid problems under restoration.

  If the issue should stay I recommend that you contact a local support team or a location of the helpdesk to have your phone checked.

• WiFi Xperia Z3 problems (home)

  I searched the forum for people with similar problems but could not find my exact problem, so I made a new post.

  Problem:

  My phone has trouble with my wifi at home. It is connected and it works well at first but after a while, after a few hours of sleemode, the internet is really, really slow and fails to load movies Youtube, Facebook or other applications. He can always upload sites but extremely slow. After a reboot the wifi is very fast again and no problems until I had it put in sleepmode for awhile.

  Parameters:

  I have the endurance mode but disabled the option that turns wifi when the phone is idle. I also activated the queue of the background and disabled the 'eco wifi' function from the settings menu.

  Wrap-up

  After a few hours of sleep, wifi mode is not usable until I restart. I don't want to restart my phone often for my wifi working.

  Everyone knows about this problem? Does anyone know a solution?

  PS. the router works fine with other devices and use b/g/n, WPA2 (no weird characters).

  Thank you once again Rickard for the quick response. It turns out that the problem is related to "Optimizing Wifi" (think that's what it is called in English) in the Wifi settings. Since I turned it off, I was not able to reproduce the problem.

  It should save the battery, but it isn't really save when you are unable to use wifi more thanks again for the reply!

  Yesterday, a message sent to my phone from a standard company, something like a commercial text message. But when I click on the notification it says message failed to load, so I thougth that if I turn on internet may be loaded message (because I guess it could be a mms) after some time, phone vibrate and a notification message is displayed again, but when I click on the message, there is an error message that says "Error". ': Not found message. But on the screen main message icon has a "1" symbol, although there is no new message on the mailbox. Since yesterday, whenever a message sent to my phone, it shows two message but when I go to app message there is only a message that appears. How can I delete a '1' on the icon message icon?
