• Acer wifi limited connectivity problem

  Have a fix for the Windows 8 wifi limited connectivity problem?

  With the help of a computer acer laptop with a Qualcomm Atheros AR5BWB222 Wireless Network Adapter on a Verizon FIOS Actiontec MI424WR using WPA2. The first WiFi is fine, then sporatically it disconnects in limited connectiviy every 10 to 60 minutes.

• Authentication of Wifi Compact Xperia Z3 problem

  I just bought the z3 compact xperia and will have problems connecting to wifi. It connects iinitally, but then it says "authentication problem. The password is correct, and I don't have this problem with another camera. I need a solution that does not involve having to access the router. Someone knows how to fix this?

  You have access to a PC or a Mac? I would recommend that you try to repair the software of your phone using PC Companion or Bridge for Mac, but please note that this will reset your phone and deletion of your data. When you start the phone and set up again, make sure to turn off the option to backup & restore with Google when you add your account because it contains WiFi settings and to avoid problems under restoration.

  If the issue should stay I recommend that you contact a local support team or a location of the helpdesk to have your phone checked.

• Wifi MacBook air problems.

  I run to OS X El Capitan 10.11.5. Since the upgrade to El Capitan, I have Wifi connectivity problems.  My wifi turns either on a random or it will appear under the name now, but I wont have all internet pages will be just stuck on loading. This occurs only at home, I think not that the fault lies with the router because as I said I have the same router with respect, before moving to El Capitan and before the upgrade, I had this problem. • Satellite 650 d - WiFi drags on the home network

  I have a Satellite 650 d Windows 7 64-bit on a home network - there are two other (non-Toshiba) computers on the home network as well (both run W7 - 64-bit, 32-bit)

  Last week, when I turn on the Toshiba WiFi, it will drag down the overall speed the network about 10 MB less than 2 MB on download - and 2 MB less than 0.2 MB download. When I turn off the WiFi on the Toshiba, the network takes right to the top.

  I wonder if anyone has experienced this problem - and if so, what are some of the problems potential I should look for to try to solve it?

  I already tried updating drivers wireless on Toshiba site - with no difficulty on this end... so looking for other opportunities to meditate

  What laptop Satellite you have exactly? Is it Satellite C650D, L650D or what exactly?

  Just bought a HP TouchSmart laptop to use when away from home. I just took in Santa Fe and could not get a wifi connection. I could get one on my smartphone, but not the laptop. Rookie here... Please dumb down of recommendations!

  None of the cell if the installer can use wifi connections or a cell phone. Mobile home mine is configured to use my wifi and when I'm out of reach it switches to the use of the cell phone Tower. It's for the smart phone not your regular clamshell phone types. So the best test is to take your laptop and go to a public wifi and see if you can connect to the wifi and use which would be another way to diagnosis if the problem is the Wi - Fi connection or something else.

  Hello, I just got my Xperia Z3 but wifi is not connecting.
  He cannot get an IP address when the DHCP option. If I change my static IP address, it will connect to my router but will have no connectivity. It's the third router that I tried to connect. All other devices work fine, including a Xperia ZL, iPad, iPhone, Mac mini and MacBook Pro.

  I discovered that my problem was due to the use of an extension of wifi. I have reset the device and now I can connect fine on my Z3 and other devices.

• Adapter Dell Latitude D620 WiFi network card problem

  I have a previous post that I made a mistake on assignment to the audio from the laptop, so I'll be back to ask what I can do to solve the problem. It was previously owned and I bought refurbished from Amazon. It was the XP but now has win 7 pro. My unit is 32-bit. I started having problems with the wireless card with six months ago. I replaced the card with the recommended legal replacement. I downloaded the correct drivers (or at least that which applied for 32 bit, same drivers Vista just in case). I downloaded all the drivers and even those who would deal with the problem. I tried and exhausted all other avenues you can imagine. I'd be more than happy to provide news service as well as any other exhibit in nature tag to ensure that this laptop is not stolen, and I am extremely satisfied with this prouduct and cannot afford to replace it at this time.

  Two of the problems are that the old 3945 ABG will no longer display with led WiFi when I reinstalled it, and used to install drivers for the new ABG 4965. My laptop recognizes the 4965, but impossible to install the drivers. I was warned that there was a problem in installing these drivers.  What I am doing wrong? ATI Intel Device Driver Update Utility installed on the laptop as well, but cannot connect to my internet connection to get the appropriate drivers, or diagnose any additional problems in nature.

  I downloaded the two sets, for win xp and win 7 32 and 64 bits, the two just in case, and none works. Can you please provide me with the correct drivers necessary?  I use a tablet to communicate with you at home and allows you to download the drivers for a USB WiFi public key. It is perhaps part of the problem, but I have no other right of appeal. You can provide me with any assistance would be most welcomed and greatly appreciated.

• Conflict IP Wifi DNS server problems

  (I'm not very good with computers, so my apologies if this has been resolved elsewhere if I look like a fool).

  I'm in a student housing, and each room has it's own internet accessible only via Ethernet. I bought a mini wireless router so I could get wifi and it worked well and was great. A friend had to use the wifi so I let her use my wifi and yet everything very well.
  I went home on vacation where my laptop automatically connected to my wifi at home and then problems began when I got my student flat.

  I would like to receive IP address conflict, the internet would be working (slowly) for about 10 minutes then does any work. I have to sign out and sign to make it work. Internet with Ethernet works fine, it's wifi is not working.
  I did a hard reset of the router, and tried to install it from scratch, new name, new password etc. and it still does not work. Sort of.

  I can connect to Skype easily, no problem and it works very well, but cannot access a Web page.
  IPV option things are set to automatic, and even when I tried to put a specific (installation guide mini router) it still doesn't work.
  I'm really confused. It says I'm connected, but then problems of DNS server, I can connect to Skype but no (for example Google) Web page.

  I don't understand what does not work, or how to fix it.

  The issue may have caused due to:

  1. The router may have been reset several times.
  2. Settings network could be inappropriate.
  3. The DHCP service has been disabled.
  Try to use the troubleshooter network, here is the link:

  Otherwise, there is a problem with the router, follow these steps to enable the DHCP:

   
  1. Connect to your router (by typing 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 in the address bar) and connect. Check your user manual or documentation if you don't know the references of logon.
  2. Make sure that you are in Setup-> basic configuration category.
  3. Scroll down until you see "DHCP Server" - if it is disabled, select 'enable '.
  4. Enable DHCP if you want, you can change the number that starts the DHCP IP setting.
  5. Use the DNS servers provided by your ISP. There are many DNS servers out there. There
     better to use your ISP if possible.
  6. Scroll down and click on save settings.
  Then follow the steps below:
   
  1. Click on start and then Control Panel.
  2. Go to the networking and sharing Center and then click on change adapter settings.
  3. Right-click on the connection to the Local network and select Properties.
  4. Select Internet Version 6 protocol, and then click Properties.
  5. Choose the DNS server address automatically get and press Ok.
  6. Choose the IP address to get automatically.
  7. Repeat the steps for Internet Protocol version 4 as well.

  I have a notebook from Medion MD 98550, with Windows 7 Home premium installed. The performance was great, but then gave up my hard drive, so I got a new installed. Since then, the integrated WiFi capability is turned off and I just can't turn it on:

  -The internal wifi card seems fine as it is fully read by Windows, but a Red Cross is displayed and a message "not connected".

  -In the Net work of the adopter properties, "the device is functioning.

  -Network adopting diagonostics returns 'possibilities of WiFi are turned off.

  -Fn + F7 does nothing, the WiFi light remains also remain off.

  -My laptop has no external button for this purpose.

  -Windows Mobility Center does not provide a solution.

  -BIOS offers only 2 options: "Disable" and "like standing." Of course, my only choice to select is this one. (There is no option 'Activate')

  -A card WiFi external, if plugged into the USB port, works very well.

  Also the web built in cam, as well as the touch screen zoom function stand out too, perhaps the result of a common reason/problem.

• x 220 Wifi 802.11n problem

  Hello, I have an 802.11n question that drives me crazy...

  My X 220 with 6205n Wifi adapter cannot connect to the router in N mode.

  The router is a huawei HG655b, using WPA2-PSK/AES. All my other computers at home can connect N, but the X 200 mode.

  It connects only in mode b and g, as soon as I N mode swith the 220 X of the card from the Device Manager, it disconnects.

  I updated the Wifi driver to the latest version of the Lenovo site, I changed power options on battery and Ac for maximum performance for Wifi... what else could be? An incompatibility with the router?

  Problem solved.

  Had to update the firmware of the router.

• GPS, Wifi and Bluetooth problems

  So I have an iPhone 6 running on IOS 9.3.4 and have had problems with the GPS and the strength of wifi connectivity and bluetooth for a while now.

  You should also go to Device Manager-> card WLan-> properties-> Advanced tab

L50T OS is windows 10 set to update since 8.1 but at the moment where I never checked if the wifi worked on 8.1. The problem is that the laptop detects my modem Virgin 2g wifi signal but it is impossible to connect. It is not 5g or any wifi neighbors. I checked the drivers, updates them, uninstalled them and bought a new Wlan card but still no improvement. I tried to alsi an external usb wifi dongle but still the same problem. I was wondering if it was a problem with the 10 widows and looked at installing windows 7 but that seems an another headache.

  Impossible to install the WiFi driver. Tried all 3 drivers provided on the support site: Ralink, Realtek & Intel WiMAX. All 3 installers indicate either the WiFi card was not found / detected or the installation program just hangs.

  Changes to the system:

  A clean install of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit DVD VL - required to connect to our domain controller.

  Found a solution.

  (1) to restore the system to factory settings

  (2) save C:\SWSetup\Drivers file on a USB

  (3) install Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

  (4) copy C:\SWSetup\Drivers on HD

  (5) install device drivers
