  3. I chose 3 script "replace 03_Alert_Basic" I want to just run this script only.

Hello Kitty,

You can use it like that too,

var

w = new window ('dialogue', "Action List"),

Radio is w.Add ('Committee', undefined, "choose the Action").

option1 = radio. Add ('radiobutton', undefined, "01_Overrodes"),

option2 = radio. Add ('radiobutton', undefined, "02_FindText"),

Option3 = radio. Add ('radiobutton', undefined, "replace 03_Alert_Basic"),

option4 = radio. Add ('radiobutton', undefined, ' 04_Tracking, kerning and Nonbreak");

Option5 = radio. Add ('radiobutton', undefined, "remove 05_Colour");

option6 = radio. Add ('radiobutton', undefined, "order 06_Foilo");

w.Add ("button", undefined, 'OK')

option1. Value = true;

radio.alignChildren = "left";

radio. Margins = [10,10,50,10];

If (w.show () == 1) {}

If (option1.value) {((Folder.desktop+"/0/01_Overrodes.jsx") leader, ScriptLanguage.ja vascript) app.doScript};

If (option2.value) {((Folder.desktop+"/0/02_FindText.jsx") leader, ScriptLanguage.jav ascript) app.doScript};

If (option3.value) {app.doScript (File (Folder.desktop+"/0/03_Alert_Basic Format.jsx"), ScriptLanguage.javascript)};

If (option4.value) {app.doScript (leader (Folder.desktop + ' "/ 0/04_Tracking, kerning, and Nonbreak.jsx" '), ScriptLanguage.javascript)};

If (option5.value) {app.doScript (File (Folder.desktop+"/0/05_Colour Remove.jsx"), ScriptLanguage.javascript)};

If (option6.value) {app.doScript (leader (Folder.desktop+"/0/06_Foilo order.jsx)", ScriptLanguage.javascript)};

}

else {}

Exit();

  • How to disable the "Insert smart card" dialog box keeps appearing after the connection?

    Running Windows 7 64 bit on a laptop Dell which includes and integrated smart card reader. My configuration does not require a smart card to log on. I was wondering if the smart card reader has worked, I plugged a card chip used on another system. The driver is installed automatically, so it appears the drive works.

    Now, whenever I log in, the "Insert smart card" dialog box is displayed. If I cancel or close the box, he continues to reappear every few seconds. How to disable this behavior?

    Update: this is somehow connected to Outlook 2003. I have 4 different e-mail accounts. The "Insert smart card" box appears only when checking for my att account (yahoo), which is configured by using POP3.

    Go to the Services.msc and check the settings for the smartcard (manual test) service.

    The position of the OP, have been reported since a lot of this problem on the some notebooks Dell and HP. There are a few reports that a replacement of the motherboard fixed the problem and the other that the relocation of a certain connector (no mention of exaclly one that) solves the problem. Direct contact with the manufacturer of the laptop computer, Dell or HP wether, might be useful. Try a follow-up if you have already made contact.

  • Prevent the dialog box fill with scripts

    Hello.

    I have an automation script that fills some pixels on a layer. Everything works, but sometimes it displays the dialog box to fill for the parameters with some png files (not all). I need to get rid of the dialog box. Is it possible to do this with the script? for example a default option?

    Thank you!

    Well, look's like I solved it the problem.

    The dialog box showed on the png files, Image-> Mode-> indexed color.

    So I added prior to filling, the following script, which will ensure the RGB Image Mode:

    var idCnvM = charIDToTypeID( "CnvM" );
    var desc36 = new ActionDescriptor();
    var idT = charIDToTypeID( "T  " );
    var idRGBM = charIDToTypeID( "RGBM" );
    desc36.putClass( idT, idRGBM );
    executeAction( idCnvM, desc36, DialogModes.NO );

  • In the dialog box constant value

    Hello

    Is it possible to keep the values in the dialog box once I entered? I mean there is value if I run the script again?

    var myWidth=prompt("PLEASE ENTER YOUR TEXT FRAME WIDTH VALUE (IN POINTS)","")

    For example if I get 10, next time, that the default value must be 10.

    Screen Shot 2016-02-25 at 5.32.00 PM.png

    Not sure we can use const not variable (var)?

    Kind regards

    Kitty

    Well, not quite. Before displaying the prompt, you want to extract the label. So move the line before 04 08 and change 04 to something like:

    myWidth = prompt ("Enter etc...", myWidth)

    and then it should work. Obviously, test it first.

  • Is it possible to stop a script to a Photoshop built in dialog "box"?

    Hi Commmunity!

    When you run/build any script.

    I know it's own possible build dialog boxes, but this one is easier. When it is possible. (If you can do this with actions, maybe you can with script)?

    Once again: the goal is to launch a script... at some point in the script stops and the dialog box is available in, after you click ok, the script continues!

    Possible?

  • Leave the dialog box change the text display/display

    I have a dialog box that is created with some text objects attached to its buttons. The user can make choices for each one, press OK, and asked of their choice. What I would like is for the buttons to the user in the text, so that they can see it in the context as they decide (that's the only reason why they are buttons; otherwise, they would be static text). I know how to handle this with a palette, but I wonder if there is a way to do it with a dialog box. With the help of a palette for all this seems unfair; I really don't want users to be able to make changes to the document, while the palette is open, and I don't want to change anything in the document until the user clicks OK. It is a dialogue with a palette as oddity, really.

    The problem is that. showText() and setting the activePage throw them the error "Cannot process the request because a modal dialog box or the alert is active." I tried to adjust the dialog box to .the = false or .visible = false, but it has no effect. Is it just impossible? This feature, change the view but not the content, seems to live in a grey zone between the way in which the work of dialog boxes and palettes of way work, so I don't know if I'm just a useless way. Any idea would be appreciated.

    Here's a code example to illustrate what I'm doing:

    #target indesign

    main();

    function main(){
        if (app.documents.length == 0){createTestDoc();}

    }

    function createTestDoc(){
        //create a test document
        var myDocPre = app.documentPresets.add({name: "testPre", createPrimaryTextFrame: true, pagesPerDocument: 5});

        myDoc.textFrames[0].contents = "1\r2\r3\r4\r5";
        myDoc.textFrames[0].texts.everyItem().appliedParagraphStyle = myPSty;

        app.findTextPreferences = app.changeTextPreferences = NothingEnum.NOTHING;
        app.findTextPreferences.findWhat = "^9";
        app.changeTextPreferences.appliedCharacterStyle = myCSty;
        myDoc.changeText();

        myDocPre.remove();
    }

    function runDialog(){
        //find text with a particular character style and send that text to my dialog creation function.
        var myDoc = app.activeDocument;
        var myCSty = myDoc.characterStyles.itemByName("CSty");
        if (myCSty.isValid){
            app.findTextPreferences = app.changeTextPreferences = NothingEnum.NOTHING;
            app.findTextPreferences.appliedCharacterStyle = myCSty;
            var myResults = myDoc.findText();
            myDialog(myResults);
        }
    }

    function myDialog(textRngs){
        //create the dialog.
        var myWin = new Window("dialog", "Test Dialog", undefined);

            //does nothing - just a reminder that the actual dialog will do something at the end based on the info entered.
            myRow.add("editText");

            myBut.onClick = function(){
                //this is what I do when I want this functionality within a palette. Selects the text so that it can be seen in context.
                if (!(this.targetObject.hasOwnProperty("select") && this.targetObject.hasOwnProperty("showText"))) {}
                else{
                    this.targetObject.showText();
                    this.targetObject.select();

                    //OR
                    //tried this as an alternative, but setting myWin.visible does nothing.
                    //myWin.visible = false;
                    //myDoc.layoutWindows[0].activePage = this.targetObject.parentTextFrames[0].parentPage;
                    //myWin.visible = true;
                }
            }
        }
        var OKGrp = myWin.add("group");
        var OKBut = OKGrp.add("button", undefined, "OK");

        OKBut.onClick = function(){
            //do something
            myWin.close();
        }
        myWin.show();
    }

    You have no choice: If you want the script to interact with the text that you will need to use a palette.

  • Photoshop opens the dialog box when you try to fill a layer with locked transparent pixels

    This script should set the layer to lock transparent pixels and then fill the layer with a color. She is doing this, except when it is in the filling phase, it opens the dialog box fill, and you have to hit OK.

    If you omit the transparent pixel line, it works as not expected, no dialog boxes.

    Is there a way to remove the box? Or I'm doing something wrong, which is causing the box to open?

  • Shortcut for the dialog box method replace Pages

    What is the method of shortcut keyboard to set up the dialog box replaces Pages.  I use a function to replace the Pages a lot in the preparation of PDF documents and need a faster method than to use the mouse on the side bar to the right of the tools.  I note this shortcut key to insert pages is Ctrl-Shift-I - what is the shortcut to replace Pages.  Previous Acrobat 9, I use alt - DNR, which brought up the dialog box replaces the Pages via the menu, but is no longer part of the Document in the menu bar — it has been deleted.  Please, it's VERY important to me.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    There is no keyboard shortcut to replace Pages and, unfortunately, there is no way in Acrobat X Pro to set a keyboard shortcut.

    The way the faster I know to bring up the command replace Pages is to customize the quick tools (the gear in the top toolbar icon) allows you to add Pages to replace the quick toolbar. It will then be a click to order.

  • [JS CS5] problem with memory leak possible with the dialog box in the event handler

    Hello

    I'm having a very difficult problem.

    I am attaching a script in a handler for a menu item, by using an installation script menu that I wrote based on one by Marc Autret. My version of the script menu installation attach a bunch of event handlers at the same time, to the actions of different menu.

    What is the event handler, with that I have a problem is to prompt the user for a URL and then applies the URL as a hyperlink to the text selection, with our house style for the way in which the URL should look like.

    The problem is the following:

    1. all other installed menu actions work very well, except for this one.

    2. the addition of URL script works fine, when you run it directly from the script menu.

    3. the combination of #1 and #2 (using the script to add URL by function as an event handler in the Edit menu) blocks to InDesign. But it is only after the addition of URL script has finished and done what it was supposed to do!

    4. when I comment on the section of the script URL adding user input, so that instead of saying

    userInput = myDisplayDialog();

    It is said

    userInput = "http://thisworks.com";   // userInput = myDisplayDialog();

    It works well as an event handler.

    So obviously a problem with the dialog box, but only when adding URL script is executed as an event handler. My first guess is that this is some kind of memory leak, but I think I am following the model of. destroy() the way I saw it elsewhere.

    Someone knows something like that before?

    I can provide all relevant if necessary scripts, but they are quite complicated. The most important of them is the input of the user function. Here it is:

    var myDisplayDialog = function( defaultText ) {

        var defaultText = defaultText || "";

        var myDialog = app.dialogs.add({
            name: "Type in a URL"
        });

        var myOuterColumns = [];
        var myInnerColumns = [];
        var myOuterRows = [];
        var myBorderPanels = [];
        var myTextEditboxes = [];
        var myInput;

        myOuterColumns[0] = myDialog.dialogColumns.add();
        myOuterRows[0] = myOuterColumns[0].dialogRows.add();

        myBorderPanels[0] = myOuterRows[0].borderPanels.add();
        myInnerColumns[0] = myBorderPanels[0].dialogColumns.add();
        myInnerColumns[0].staticTexts.add({
            staticLabel: "URL:"
        });

        myInnerColumns[1] = myBorderPanels[0].dialogColumns.add();

        myTextEditboxes[0] = myInnerColumns[1].textEditboxes.add({
             minWidth: 300,
             editContents: defaultText ? defaultText : "http://"
        });

        var myResult = myDialog.show();
        var myInput = myTextEditboxes[0].editContents;

        myDialog.destroy();

        if (myResult == false) {
              exit();
        }

        return myInput;

    }

  • Unable to select the file in the dialog box in the Sierra

    I'm unable to select an image file in the "save for Web" in the finder window "save under" in Photoshop CC running on the Sierra.

    There are times where I need to save a new image using a similar name by selecting the existing file, which matches the name in the dialog box "save under".

    The use of Photoshop CC in Sierra I am unable to do so due to the inability to select the existing files in the Save-as the finder window.

    I thought at first that was Adobe, but later, I noticed that I can not save for web browsers and other programs. I installed the beta updates on Sierra, but also which did not set. I hope be fixed so I can move on to Sierra. It was not such a problem in previous versions.

    Unfortunately, your discovery is correct. I just met for the first time. I was shocked, but apparently it will work in list view. View miniature not a reason any.
