• Oracle 10g fails to start with a 3G router running

  I don't know where to get help with this problem starting from Oracle.

  
  So far, I have used a HUAWEI dongle directly connected to my PC. Firstly, the operating system and Oracle start, then I connect to internet using the Huawei Mobile Partner. Any application can

  connect to Oracle on the local PC and use it properly. Everything is OK.

  
  Now, I added a 3G router that is connected to your PC via ethernet cable and has the Huawei dongle connected to a USB port on the router.

  
  Everything works fine if I followed the sequence:

  
  (1) to start the PC with the router powered off and wait for Oracle started well.

  
  (2) turn on the router and wait for 2 minutes until Windows shows the 100 MB ethernet link is open. Oracle.exe in the Task Manager is around 210 Mb and sometimes more, depending on the activity. Everything works fine.

  
  However, if I turn on the router first, and then start the PC, Oracle does not start correctly. It rejects requests for connection forever more, indicating the network adapter could not establish the connection: Code 17002.

  In the Task Manager Oracle.exe occupies only 145 Mb. clearly it has not begun.

  My intuition says it's something to do with the network address. When properly, started my address IP is 192.168.1.100, assigned by the router.

  
  What can I do so that he can properly start?  Should what changes I make TNSNAMES, LISTENER and HOSTS to get this working, or to clean them, if necessary?

• MCBUILDER. EXE running rampant, competing with updates for CPU and possibly associated with an update failed chess SP2 and the backup and restore

  Running Vista Home Premium SP1 and the system has been slow and freezing. MCbuilder appear to be using 50 to 100% of CPU, and it is a process that seems no way of killing. I disabled in Services, but again, it seems to start without any particular reason and hinders attempts to install programs or updates vista hogging resources. This can be associated with a problem that has arisen since June because I am not able to perform backups or set restore points (gives the error "0 x 81000101 the creation of a shadow copy has timed out"). I tried to install SP2 in the hope that it will not solve the problem, but the failure of installation and install KB947821 doesn't seem to work either. As the restoration of the system is defective, I would be grateful for the pointers to the resolve or completely remove this mcbuilder problem.

  You have COMODO or AVG Antii-virus installed on your system?  It is known problems with these two programs and MCbuilder.exe.  I don't have Microsoft Resource Builder Cache as a service in the Services (so I can't activate or deactivate it)-you which version of Vista to help (bit, SP-number version)?  I have 32 bit Vista Business SP2. I see no way to turn it off in order to close it with the Task Manager when it is - with the exception, but who could become annoying if it happens frequently and with multiple instances.  I could find nothing useful in Knowledge Base Microsoft on it hogging resources although I've seen a few threads using Bing (which is where I came up with COMODO and AVG anti-virus conflicts).

  You can be infected by malware (which may be the origin of the program to activate and run "without reason"). While in Test Mode safe mode (press F8 during startup and select mode safe mode with networking repeatedly) to run anti-malware programs. To resolve this problem (if it is a problem) download, install, and run the following two programs: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php and http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html.  You can also try a free trial of Pandasoft (www.pandasoft.com).  Before you download pandasoft, uninstall all anti-virus program you currently use (because the installation and execution of two simultaneously can cause conflicts, freezes and all sorts of problems).  Once you have uninstalled your current AV program, download, install, update and scan using Pandasoft.  I think you might be amazed at how much she notes that other software missed.  Once complete, uninstall pandasoft and re - install your current AV program (unless you decide to spend that I did when I tried about 4 years ago).  You can also try the new, free Microsoft Security Essentials http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/default.aspx (with the same caveat that only program AV one ALONE can be installed and running on your system at any time). Restart after finishing all the scans and see if the problem has been resolved.

  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started (which can be a problem if it began all the way back in June - you should have posted here then when this process would probably have worked).  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points (but I doubt that you will have a pretty far back and forth to the system restore may not be a viable option).  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

  If the system restore does not work, do a startup repair, boot from the disk Installation of Windows Vista genuine (or one that you can borrow from someone) or a recovery disc.  Here is the procedure: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html.  You may need to change the BIOS to do first the CD drive in the boot sequence to boot from the CD.  To do this, hold the screen that tells you the key F to push to enter the menu start or start of installation.  Push it quickly. Make the changes, save your work and exit.  Put the CD in the drive and reboot.  When you are prompted, press any key to boot from the CD.

  If you do not have a floppy disk, you can make a bootable recovery disk by using http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ with burning software like: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html and, of course, a blank CD.

  If this does not work, try to start in safe mode (repeatedly hit F8 key so that the start and go in safe mode with networking).  Then we will check some of your system files:

  Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

  Type sfc/scannow, go and let it run.  It will scan and try to correct some of your system files.  If all goes well it will complete with no corruption, he couldn't fix it (if there is such corrouption post here or try to analyze it to find the problem or files using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228.  I bet there is something involving the program or associated with this program.

  If this does not work, you will need to do a repair/system upgrade using the Windows Vista Installation disc authentic (you own or that you can borrow from someone).  Here is the procedure: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-vista.html as well as the upgrade from an earlier version of the Windows section of the following: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918884.  Although this will not affect your data, settings or programs, you should always back up your data before you start just be on the safe side.

  I hope one of these procedures can solve your problem (probably the SFC command or controls anti-virus).  If this isn't the case, after return and we will try something else.  Return message anyway so we know how it turns out.

  BTW, for update of the problems you are having with SP2, post on the Forum of Windows Update to: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistawu/threads where the people who specialize in update issues will be happy to help you with your concerns and get SP2 running on your system (perhaps despite this particular problem).  As you say, it can even solve the problem - who knows.

  Help needed please.

  HP dx2250 microtower, running Windows Vista Home Basic Edition, recently attacked by Vista Antispyware 2010. Norton 360 V3 dealt with rather late the virus, but the fall of the remains.

  I am unable to open any .exe file (program) on the desktop, start menu, or through the browser. I can access the programs in opening a data file, for example, double-click a .doc file opens MS Word, etc.

  The error message "this file has no program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the control panel to define the Associations. "

  I tried an automated solution that is available via the forums (exefix_cu.reg) and also a manual suggestion to change the registry, also available through the forum.

  I also splashed by and purchased Regcure, who seems to have done no difference despite who claims to have removed 1500 odd errors. So I'll be request the refund on that one.

  I scanned the forums and found a large number of similar problems, but not one that is as complete as this.

  Most of the discussions and tutorials is very old - there may be some new features in CC 2015 in order to do compare with 2011 toolset or almost. And in many video tutorials only covered - they talk about audio at all. But for audio track that I use, is the audio very good.

  Here is an example of a part of the timeline. I needed this project to do quickly, I decided to stretch the entire audio segments to match the new length of the video. It s not correct but it sounds better then it divides in three parts with a slow speed in the middle. Just to match audio speed changes in the Panel of video editing

  

  Not sure about the exchange of workflow with first for this type of effect.

  However the hearing can make the effect of change of speed/not very well using effects/time and Pitch/Pitch Bender. This uses a waveform envelope on with keyframes to vary the height must therefore ideal for your needs. In order to see where on the waveform, you need to place keyframes without doubt the best way is to place markers on audio in first at beginning and end of each ramp. These should be done through when you export audio in Audition where you should be able to match Pitch Bend keyframes to markers.

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • Click the menu button

    then select restart with disabled modules.

  If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
  • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
    (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration.   Explanation of VI:
  I initialize an array.
  The random number generator simulates my entry camera.
  According to which iteration it is, the data are added in one of the four tables of output.
  "x - y * floor(x/y) ' gives a value of remainder of 0, 1, 2 or 3.
  'Case Selector' just add 1 to "x - y * floor(x/y) ' for case 1, 2, 3, or 4.
  Pictures 1, 5, 9 etc. are added to table 1 (case 1).
  Photos 2, 6, 10 etc. are added to table 2 (case 2).
  3, 7, 11 etc. are added to table 3 (case 3).
  Shots of 4, 8, 12 etc. are added to table 4 (4 cases).
  Average output displays the average value or total divided by the number of photos stored in this table ("Set (IQ + 1)'").

  My problems are:

  (1) I would like to output only the last 4 sets of data from different average output files, 1, 2, 3, and 4 to 4 (i.e. under .csv what is displayed on the screen in indicators "average output was 1, 2, 3 and 4 at the end of all iterations.)
  Where should I put my file save the diagram disabled so that it does?

  Hi Laura,

  I assume that you want to store the 4 x 4 table of average production for the last 4 iterations (correct me if I'm wrong). If so, I've set up the example as shown below:
  

  So, basically, what I did is I created a comparison group to check if the iteration is the iteration total last 4, you have defined. I have included a number to each of the business structures to set in which case it belongs to. The comparator will pass a Boolean result to the structure of the housing that contains the algorithm for writing a file. Since you mentioned that you want to create a file for each of the case, I created as a way to build to create the customized for each case file name. You will notice that there is a concanate string.vi that allows me to customize the name of the file. Since the common file must be exit average, I take the digital constant from the structure of the deal and convert it to a string and concanate to make it in e.g. output average 1. Please note that you need to put a basic path such as in my case, I want to save in the folder named ' New folder (3) "to my office.

  The writing on the case folder occurs only if the condition is true (that is, the last 4 iterations of the loop for)

  Once done, I created the header and write it in this text file and followed by data from spreadsheet on the next line.

  I enclose the code for your reference. I would like to know if this is what you wanted.

  Greetings. Long time user of Photoshop... but looking for a way to streamline some workflows. I regularly jobs where I need to create variations of what I am working on. To do this, I have basic layers that are common to all the images of finals, can have a set of layers that have sections which vary on them. Now, I heard some Scripts that can be run in Photoshop, so I was wondering if there is a way to have such a script all variants, evolution which layers "variation" is visible, as it does. Thus, if the layers were piled up like:

  Variant 6

  Variant 5

  Variant 4

  Option 3

  Variant 2

  Option 1

  Shared content

  Shared base

  All shared layers would be visible, while the script would save the Variant 1 file with the Variant 1 layer visible also...   Yes, this would be possible. If the files have different numbers of layers, which would make it more difficult, because you'd have to this script so that the script know which layers to enable or disable. It would be just a matter of creating a 'loop' and going through the layers. It would be worth something even in the name of the layer that would leave the script to know which layer must stay all the time.

  Without seeing the file 'text' produced by Extendscript Toolkit in a hex editor, it is rather difficult to say. If there is a code of control buried in the text file.

  I really think that the problem is that I am not tell the script where to find the Oracle tables to. I left the code wherever we use the UDL to call for the opening of the Recordset, but since we do away with the Recordset how let FDM knows where to find the Oracle tables?

  Did you build a database for the GL data link? These paintings GL.GL_BALANCES A, GL.GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS B, GL.GL_PERIODS C, GL.GL_LEDGERS D are not part of the FDM and I do not see how treat you your education cnSS.open strConn sSQL binder.

  I'm out of the queue of SQL * Plus for Excel. The code I use is down. I want that all white space to carve when I open the updated file waiting in Excel. How can I ensure this?

  TRIM affects the expressions in your SELECT clause. It has nothing to do with the padding of SQL * Plus adds to align the columns upwards.

  Here's a way to make the main request:

  SELECT        TO_CHAR (idnumber)
  || ',' ||  first

  This will include spaces only if they occur in first or last. Depending on your data and your requriements, you may need to use the FILLING (first) instead of the first, and/or TRIM (finally) instead of the last.

  Using this technique, it does not matter what is COLSEP: the query produces a single column.

  Use the SQL * more order

  SET  TRIMSPOOL ON
  

  to keep SQL * more add space after this single column.

• Problem with save for Web in Action

  We do hundreds of images to our fine print main client. As part of the work, they want to the final image through save for Web registered as file a .jpg and .png to 1000 pixels wide.

  The problem is, if you try to create an action for this, the size of the action records is a percentage and not a width in pixels. It is therefore impossible (so it seems) to record an action that sets the scale as a sizing with a fixed output of 1000 pixels wide. Since images vary in size and he insists on registration of the size as a percentage, you can not create an action that will work.

  I tried to see if there is a way to change the action to change the output of a width in pixels, but didn't see how to do it. Is it still possible? We would save TONS of not having to manually open each image twice as much work and savings for each format.
