  All on a sudden our EBS refuses to start with the following error message. We are on 12.0.6 version, and did not any changes recently. As it is an instance of production, we should be reviving a SR tomorrow when getting to work, but just thought of posting here - just in case some of you have been there earlier.   Have you tried running AutoConfig on the node in database/application layer and see if it helps.

  Please check the file application.log for more information about the error. If no error is detected in the newspapers and the above did not help, then please get the FRD file and post the complete error here.

  New installation of Fusion Middleware 11 g on HP - UX 64-bit Itanium running VMWare on top. It is that the application of the EM fails to start, to starting AdminServer and when tried to start manually.

  Installs on existing Windows 11g works without problems.
  
  On the installation of the HP - UX system, it is the only symptom of problems so far. Can deploy and start the user applications, Console can start and stop the servers. No other symptoms or error messages identified yet.
  
  EM app remains the failure State.
  
  Have uninstalled/reinstalled several times, tried other instances of VMWare and without success. Same behavior each installation. Have wittled to rudimentary installation for MS, so little additional choices to muddy the waters.
  
  WebLogic generic installation pot take all default values
  AppDev install generic zip taking all default settings
  Run the config for the new domain, changing AdminServer to add EM, which includes the JRFs
  Run setNMProps.sh 1 time and then run startNodeManager.sh, which opens with no problem
  Run startWebLogic.sh
  
  
  Problem occurs on the first boot of the server admin and any attempt to launch the application of the EM.
  
  Tried uping the settings with settings such as 1536 for main memory and 512 for permgen. Changes which have occurred in the startup file. But does not change the problem or behavior.
  
  WebLogic Debug traces did not give me more clues. HTTP calls to get all the resources for EM appear before this failure without problems.   There was a thread OTN showing same error but with "Production" Mode and solved by enabling SSL on the administration server. This question is "Development Mode" but enabled SSL, without resolution. Noted that clearances HTTPS appear in newspapers after the EM localization for start-ups. Retried after start EM and still the same error.

  I'm on a Toshiba Satellite L300 Windows Vista,
  I recently had my browser (Google Chrome) freeze so that the page that I was on was using Java.
  I went to reset, but once Vista began to start it would not go beyond the loading bar.
  Then, I went to boot from a drive to install Vista and met the same problem.

  I tried to start with the controller Mode SATA changed compatibility.
  This allowed the Vista disc load up successfully but did not allow for options but command prompt and from the Startup Repair.
  I ran Startup Repair twice and that Vista would load to the top of the loading bar then reset and loop this model.
  I don't know where to go from here, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

  You have already discovered, your AV closed your Defender Windiows because your AV has his own Defender, and having 2 defenders on the same machine will create conflicts.

  I have successfully configured a PXE boot using the VMware ESXi 4.1 Update 1 ISO version.  There is a complicated configuration that must be done to make it work (essentially described here: http://www.jayakumar.org/esx/pxe-boot-vmware-esxi-4-1-and-manual-install/):

  -Create a folder in which copy the source files for the installation ISO.

  -Copy the file "imagedd.bz2" on a Linux machine.

  -tar cvzf image.tgz usr /.

  -Copy the file "image.tgz" in the location of the soure file.

  -Place a copy of the file "pxelinux.0" (from version 3.0 of syslinux) in the location of the source file

  -Create a folder called "pxelinux.cfg; Copy the isolinux.cfg file in the pxelinux.cfg file and rename it to 'default '; Edit the file 'default' by adding '-image.tgz ' to the line append.

  If I do the same exact process using ISO custom of HP, the PXE install fails with a GROUP shown here:

  

  Anyone know what could be the problem?  I tried the version from the download site of VMware as well as directly from HP.

  I just had the same GROUP while trying to start an image constructed from HP 4.1_U1_Apr_2011_ESXi_HD_USB_SDImgeInstlr_Z7550_00096.iso

  In my case the problem is proved to be bad tar format image.tgz

  Student vmkernel.log I found visorfstar: entrance to complain about wrong image file.

  When I tried to convert uncompressed image.tar vmtar vgz reported: invalid tar: 'ustar'

  so I 'reconditioned' image.tgz with the utility tar anchored in esxi console and it worked finally.

  What worked for me:

  1 remove an installed copy of the CC extensions Manager

  2. disconnect from the corporate network, log in as a local administrator

  3. download Extension Manager CC of Adobe - Exchange: download Adobe Extension Manager

  4 install

  5 kill the synchronization process of basic creative cloud with the Task Manager

  6. go in C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension CC\Configuration\DB Manager and remove or rename the ExMan.db file

  7. start Extension Manager and install extensions

I tried to get the url of the homepage on google (http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/f? p = 4950) to see if others had problems and multiple threads of this forum appeared. I tried some some suggestions and nothing worked. Netstat displays nothing listening on port 8080. I tried to disable the windows firewall. I tried to turn off and restart the process TNSLSNR.
