The script below is adapted in part from that has been with Illustrator and other pieces and the pieces that I picked up the Forum. When I run it on a 15.3 Mg .ai file it produces

. The same PFS size that would be the case if I manually created at Headquarters printing and by default; but the low-resolution sort option to 9 Mg as opposed to the 439 K he "should" be.

Please someone be kind advise me how can I change the script to work as I want that: I had counted on my custom screening done the work for me. Thank you in advance.

Oh, please check that: ' "saveOpts.preserveEditability = true;".

Maybe try to disable this option.

Lightroom 4 presets and the file sizes

When I apply a preset to a photo, then export it... the file with that I find myself is significanatly smaller than my original file? These trained same presets as big / or in most cases from the files of size in previous versions of lightroom...

Develop a Module Presets have almost nothing to do with the size of the file.

File size is according to the pixel Dimensions, Compression and File Format (if applicable)

I suspect that you export the settings that you were in previous versions of Lightroom.

What is the file format for which you export? What are the parameters of file Type, quality, Compressoin? What are your measurements? How these export settings differ from your previous export?

After scanning in a file, I can't save the PDF file with a unique file name, it will only back up in its original name; Otherwise, if I save the name of the file under a new name, save it box goes outside and the file is renamed and saved. Help!

If I analyze the file and its original name is:
Ssrv395alm76439... and I want to rename it "background."
If I have the rename, the file won't save. If I leave the file as it will save and I have to go to an additional folder and rename it.

I would like to know is what is happening with some or all the files.

Bernd, these rights are not necessary to the reader XI. Unless the file has been secured, then it should be savable.

I recommend that upgrade you to the latest version of the XI player that is available and if this does not work, try to run a repair installation (or upgrade to DC).

Is that what you have made changes in registered pdf format previously? If this isn't the case, as Bernd said, Save... as the first. Then, when you make changes, you can use Save.

B2B generate the file with the file extension will start

We have a problem with the name of the output file. We have customized the java class to change the file name out based on operational needs. It works well, but recently, we see the file with the extension name from "start" are generated with size '0 '. The right files always generated with the appropriate content.

I assume you are using a B2B channel tuned to retrieve messages in a folder. Please check if this channel to listen is to have the parameter enable selected marker.

Disabling the marker Enable should avoid generating the file start in the folder.

It seems that something has been added in the folder on the drive. I would recommend http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.htmluninstalling the program, running, removing any left over parts of the record player (this could be the problem), reboot and reinstall. If all goes well, that solved the problem. Future questions about the player, you should consider asking in the forum of reader, is not.

I use Adobe acrobat X pro and I need to convert a Word to PDF file to join with all do us commercial offers. The file size is important in order to limit the size of the mailbox content. At the moment my Word file is 25 and it's ok, but when I convert it the result is a 120 KB PDF... I did some research in the Acrobat community and they often explain to use "Save as other", but I do not have these (maybe it came with version XI).
I would like to know if anyone has an idea of what I can do with my version of acrobat to reduce the size of the file.

PDF Optimization is not available in Std AFAIK. However, you asked on the conversion of a WORD file. The best way to keep the size down is to NOT use save them in Adobe PDF format. Who's using PDF Maker (the Acrobat in WORD menu) which adds tags and many other things that inflate a default PDF. If you do not use this option, then use preferences to disable the tags and other elements in the file (like all bookmarks and all the rest). The easiest way is to print to the Adobe PDF printer. Don't forget to keep your simple fonts. It is better to embed fonts when you send a PDF file to others (especially from PC to MAC Linux as the fonts on the system may be different). Don't use only not the smaller file size settings. Use Std as a minimum or press options or Print embed all the fonts as subsets. The MST is fine as long as people use Acrobat or Reader for viewing, but other viewers may not recognize the basic fonts Adobe.

I have to download an onlind doc and can't download it if it is in PDF format. I converted it all right, but they limit the saize equal to or less than 5 Meg file. The file is a page, and it says it's Meg 6.3, so it won't, except the transfer of files.

If you want to reduce the file size of a PDF document, you must use Acrobat. If you do not have Acrobat, you're certainly welcome to try for http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html. Acrobat Pro, there are several options to reduce the size of the file, including the file > save as other > PDF of reduced size and file > save as other > PDF optimized.

I can get in if I have Firefox right click and choose to run the file as an administrator and then give permission to open the program. How can I cut these two additional and direct access, that I used to enjoy. I run Vista. The same thing happens if I have to explore. Would be grateful for the help.

There is no uninstall for Mac Reader program. You can directly delete the application from the Applications folder, which is just trash/Applications/Adobe Reader.app.

Then you can download Adobe reader from here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

Your use of the word "files" (in the plural) still makes me believe that you have not checked the permissions on the folder that is appropriate (in the singular).

You must determine the Destination of the Lightroom Import dialog window Panel and see which folder Lightroom is really tr6ing to copy photos in (which may have been accidentally changed and is not what you may have used in the past) and change the permissions to write to this folder.
