• Is Weblogi just a kind of web administration tool?

  I deploy the Foundation(Shared service, workspace) Hyperion on Weblogic in windows XP, I was wondering: is weblogic a kind of web server? as IIS?
  
  If it is not a web server, why people like install Weblogic to work with Hyperion? IIS and Acrobat is sufficient? If weblogic is a kind of web server, when I set up to deploy the workspace to the Web server, I see only "IIS Web HTTP serevr" and "Apachy HTTP Server" pop up in the fall of web server drop-down? No option for "Weblogic server" web can be seen?
  
  Is Weblogi just a kind of web administration tool?

  Do not use XP, use an operating system supported.
  As I said what IIS/Apache is used for the element of plugin from web server to the workspace, it is an additional requirement on the top web application (weblogic) for the workspace server.

• Web publishing tool does not display my program on other computers

  I want to ask about three points in this post:

  -J' using Web publishing tool to publish my program on a Web site. The server of LabVIEW works very well and the site is posted online and it works fine; However, when I check the website of the host the program displays fine and t works perfectly, but when I check the site in any other computer program does not at all. I thought that maybe I didn't have the good plug in the other computer, so I downloaded it and it still wouldn't work. I tried this on 3 different computers and the program would not load on the Web site. Any ideas?

  -Also, I noticed that in order for me to open the Web site that I must write the url complete (http://sprites.fit.edu/index.html), the server of labview will go automatically to page index by typing just "sprites.fit.edu" is there something I can do?

  -Given that this program is for a research project, the Web page where the program only can be reached and used by some people. I tried to use PHP to create a login page, but LabVIEW server does not support. Is there a way I could address the issue of security for this program without denying control of it?

The LabVIEW Professional development system includes a remote façade license that allows five customer connections. I was wondering if that might cause problems.

  I'm trying to get of Labview Web publishing tool to work for a VI. I have the web server enabled in Tools - Options - menu "Web Server: Configuration. I also disabled the firewall. I can't find what is causing the problem. Is attached a picture of what I mean when I say that I can not click on the button to connect.

  I'm developing an application of DSC in LV8.6.   I have no problem with the configuration of the server web page for test applications small including those using a hypertrend control.  A problem with my larger application with shared variables, IO etc. servers.  When I open the Web server configuration tool, it is practically non-functional.  I put an option on the first page and then it freezes and I need to stop LabView by using the Windows Task Manager to get out of the State.   Are there portions of LabView or DSC, which can damage the configuration web page tool?

  I now have a working web page. Thank you for your help.  It took a long time to build, but the result is a Web page that works as expected.  I'm still in the dark as to why my request takes so long to start and why the web tool has taken so long to do its job.  Two things may be related.  Is there an obvious way to start debugging to determine the elements of the slow loading?

• 'Web Deployment agent service' using port 80.

  Hello community,

  After I uninstalled ampps (alternative to Xampp) and re installed, I get a message that port 80 is used by another application.
  I discovered in "Windows Task Manager" than (NT Kernel & System) was the culprit. After Googling further concluded that "Web deployment agent service" use port 80.

  C:\Program Files\IIS\Microsoft Web Deploy\MsDepSvc.exe' - runService: MsDepSvc

  What I've done so far was out of "MsDepSvc.exe" by spacing it epSvc.exe MsD.

  I want to know is why IIS start using port 80. Because ampps do not complain about it before!

  And what is the solution. How can I change the port for IIS?

  (4) how long it will take for the deployment

  I'm setting up a VMWare View deployment and I need to configure Performance Manager in Virtual Center Customization Tools.  Use the deployment tools XP Service Pack 2 for my model pack 3 XP service or do I have to download SP 3 tools?  Documentation on the internet points to SP 2 tools, but I can't find a definitive answer for XP SP 3 machines.

  I don't think anything changed in Sysprep between XP SP2 and SP3 of XP.  I use Sysprep in an XP SP2 CD deploy.cab file to customize my XP SP3 image with no problems.  You should be able to use Sysprep tools on the CD for SP2 for your model.

  Good so I downloaded and installed Firefox and then tried to download the web developer tools recommended by Nadia (http://chrispederick.com/work/web-developer), but apparently I don't have the program to open the file as to install these tools. Any advice?.

  Firefox is the application that installs the xpi file. Just drag and drop the file into an open FF browser, or use the menu open file.
