    Hi there Anlee9!

It looks like invitations to other events is not something you want to receive on your iPhone on iOS 9.3.3 5s. I don't like to be interrupted myself, so I have disabled this feature and I'll be happy to show you how also.

The area you are looking for is actually in the center of Notifications to your iPhone. Tap Settings > Notifications > calendar > Invitations that turns off.

  • BlackBerry smartphone security wiping deleted my whole apps of My World!

I have a bold 9700 and recently she got really really REALLY slow, to the point where, by pure blind frustration I went to the options screen and did security wipe for all third party applications, I thought it would be just deleted from my phone but it deleted my whole app in app world as well which means I can't reinstall one of them.

I paid for some applications like Shazam Encore and Bejoose I really don't want to have to pay again, is there a way I could get back them?

Hello and welcome to the community!

AW servers must always making... I suggest that you clear the cache of the application on the device AppWorld:

    1. open the App World

    2. go to my world

    3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

    3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

    3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:

    • KB24714 How to clear the cache of BlackBerry App World

    4 AppWorld must close

    5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

    6. return to AppWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync). Connect to MyWorld (if necessary - it will take your BB ID username and password this time; it's not remember your BB ID username after a clear the cache), and then try again.

If the step (4) and (6) do not occur as indicated, then the empty the cache did not work.

I hope it'll work for you! Good luck and let us know!

  • Accidentally deleted my email app!

I managed to remove the standard e-mail off my 6s iPhone application.

There are a few older questions and answers on the forum, but go to setting > general > reset > reset home screen presentation is not restore the app.

I tried to restore the phone from a backup, but at the moment where I connected to iTunes the phone automatically backed up... overwrite previous backup of a moment where my phone got the email.

Any help appreciated - for your information, the phone has been updated with the latest IOS (I think that the version number is 10.02).

Go into the App Store and search for "Apple Mail" and it download it again. With iOS Apple 10 allows the destruction of many of the default applications. But those that can be deleted are available in the App Store for relocation if necessary.

  • How to run a script as administrator and copy some setting of the connected user's profile?

I want to copy some profile setting to the connected on folder (% userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word) user profile password when they connect. Because the standard user accounts do not have the right admin to copy files to the folder, so I use schedule a task to run the .cmd as local administrator every time that a user login. But, when I use the % username % setting to try copying the file to the logged on user profile, the setting of % username % is interpreted as the name of the local administrator because the scheduled task is run as administrator. Therefore, the file is exemplary in the local Administrator profile. All solutions? Thank you

I log on as a user account standard and do a right-click the .cmd and run as admin. The script interpreter .cmd parameter of % username % as the admin because I ran as administrator.

-> Not altogether. There are two cases:

    • You are connected under an administrator account. When you right click on cmd.exe, then you get a 'high' console session that is still running under the name of your current account.
    • You are connected under a regular account. When you right click on cmd.exe and then you get a prompt and admin account name and its password. The new session is running under admin account.

Is there a way to set the parameter to % username % as long as the logged on user, when you run the .cmd as an administrator.

-> No - see above. Execution of a session high under a regular user account would defy the principle of administrator accounts.

Either of these two options, I gave you in my previous answer might work, with a bit of scripting. A much simpler method would be to restore the default permissions to the %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word folder. Normally full, users have access to it. This is my preferred option. With the help of a scheduled task that is running under an administrator account is a kludge.

  • I deleted a default app

I just got the new update (iOS 10) on my iphone, when I deleted the new application makes apple called Home, later realizing I wanted (once I had watched on an Internet site telling me that it was actually an application prety cool) I tried to get it back. I went to settings and searched and he did indeed appear, but I removed it again, thinking that he would bring it back. I then try to reset the homepage, because who had worked on several occasions, but it did not work this time. Is there a way I can get the app?

To restore an application, just head to the App Store, search for the application that you have deleted, and tap the cloud. He'll show up instantly on your home screen.

  • How can I delete, accept or decline invitations from calendar without sending a response?

I have a bunch of old Agenda of invitations on my phone calendar. Apparently the calendar application can communicate with Outlook well enough to load the invitations, but not well enough to load the answers I do via Outlook. I don't want to send two copies accept or refuse emails to anyone who has ever invited me to a meeting, but also, I don't want to watch a lot of red on the application of all the time, and see an Inbox full of mess.

How can I remove these invitations without sending responses? I don't want to remove my calendar events, as I like to have everything in one place and use the Outlook calendar as little as possible.

    Thank you.

I think you are saying two things that are almost contradictory here:

    • (Implicit in the fact that you referenced "big red number" and "all those who invited me to a meeting): you save all your events years ago.  For example, perhaps you have been invited to a meeting (the date chosen at random) November 5, 2011 at 10:30 you responded to.  But «I don't want to remove my calendar events...» »
    • "I have... to use the Outlook calendar as little as possible."

Why the world you would hesitate to delete your (potentially many) events for weeks, months, years?

  • I want to delete linux market app. (SOLVED)

I have crunchbang linux. Crunchbag is the type of a minimal distribution, which requires a lot of manual menu editing and desktop settings. When I downloaded the app from the market it not created no entry menu or desktop, so I can't easily use it. How can I remove it? I don't remember the name of the application so it's just too much room.

Hi, I do not know if you still have your problem uninstall an app from the market on linux, but I thought that the "hard" to remove an application.

Go to your home directory, look at the hidden files, you should see a directory like ".http; someapp ".

Remove it. This step removes the application from your computer.

Then go to ~/.local/share/applications and delete the file that looks like your application. This will remove the Launcher on your desktop / Start menu / activity seen according to your distribution.

It looks like a dirty method but I have yet to find another way

  • Cannot delete the ghost App on iMac

I deleted an app of my iMac which was being updated. Now, the launchpad icon constantly has an empty bar under it (such as one that indicates that an update is underway) and when the app that I had deleted in the applications folder is not yet on the launch as a gray icon and I can't remove it. I tried dragging it to the trash and pressing x next (after long - by clicking on the app) but nothing seems to work.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thank you!

What is the name of the application and how you try to remove it? Please be descriptive.

  • Delete Firefox Mobile Apps

I don't know why it's hard. I tried a few apps Firefox Mobile and now I want to delete them. Here is what I tried:

I went to Menu > tools > Apps. A screen my apps. Tapping we open it. Press and hold on SELECTS (it gives me the ability to cut, copy, search for, or share the name of the application). Long press don't give me the option to delete the app.

I also tried clicking "Browse the Marketplace of Firefox" button and going to the "My applications" section I tried mobile first, and he ordered me to make a new username and password. After that, it always returned an error 'the server is under extreme load.'

I managed to make an account of my desktop browser market, but the section of my Apps shows "you have not applications.

So, how to remove these apps that I made with?

Thank you, but I actually use Firefox Mobile on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, not Firefox OS.

I was finally able to remove every apps app by pressing on and now the icon in the app drawer , then drag it to the button uninstall.

Uninstall did not work from these locations:

    • The home screen (long press gave option to remove the icon but not uninstall)
    • "Your applications" screen in Firefox (long press gave ability to cut/copy the name of the app)
    • 'My applications' section of the marketplace of Firefox (says "You have no apps")
    • Screen of the Firefox app on the market (Showed a "Launch button" but not "Uninstall" button")

It seems that the only way to uninstall a Firefox on Android app is by the Android app. It would be much more intuitive that apps could be uninstalled Firefox on the market like the shop game, or 'Your applications' in Firefox Mobile.

  • iMovie deleted on iPhone app

Hello. I accidentally deleted iMovie app on my IPhone 6s. How can I get it back?

    Thank you

BTW, you're in the wrong forum.

Apps for Mac cannot run on iOS devices.

I'll ask the moderator to move your message.

    Have you tried

The App Store app > updates > purchase > here?

Note: You must have the Internet Wi - Fi connection to download (you can not use the cell data).

  • Safari and all browsers not opening not Java Script links - looks like App problem

I have 3 ipads and 1 iphone...  A few days ago all except 1 of the iPad and my iphone started showing the same questions...

In safari, or even with chrome on each of the devices involved, links to Java scripts more open.  It freezes and unresponsive, then crashes.

It is the case of the bar by clicking on a link in google search (and it's OK if I load desktop application mode) and even emails with links to a Web site.

Since 3 devices present the problem and is not 1 I guess it has to do with a bad application or the app update (although never had something like this happen before an application.)  The 9.2.1 software on the devices was fine until a few days ago, when this happened

However, with many applications on devices, I don't know what app or update is causing the problem.  I tried to limit without a bit of luck.

I have classes compensation tent soft reboot of data backed up and all that, but the problem does not go far.  Even with all of the dragged close apps, it STILL happens. So maybe it's an application that loads anything at startup.

Because I don't see other instances of something like this that make SMEs also guess that's an app.  Does anyone have any suggestions... On the app store - anyone know if there are diagnostic tools to find an app that can cause a problem?

    Thank you!

    Mike

    Hi MikeAbramsNY,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple! I'm sorry to hear that you have this Javascript problem with your devices. If you have a current backup of your data, you can try to restore one of the devices assigned to factory settings and stable in this default state to see if the problem persists. If so, you can find the following article useful:
