• Tips for use side Server; Getting started

  I am trying to create a form that sends the info automatically, consistently. "mailto:" pulls up an e-mail client, which I don't want to, but I never used side Server Tech before and don't know if I can still in my situation.

  I tried to create these two files - http://www.codefixer.com/tutorials/sample_form_email_script.asp

  I then put the 2 files (.asp + .html) in my folder on server - connected locally through my work computer.

  
  When I access the form.html via the internet, (http://www.srdar.org/aspnet_client/system_web/1_1_4322/form.html) fill out the form and submit - I get the error msg: "405 - HTTP verb used to access this page is not appropriate method not valid (HTTP verb) was used for the access attempt."

  
  When I access the form.html locally, fill out the form and submit, it directs me to a blank page: "email sent" which is, in my view, what is supposed to happen. Problem is, it does not send the email.

  I don't know if I still have a server that can use ASP technology - but there is a folder in the network a few .js files with a .html... I just assumed it would work... Any ideas? Something simple?

  ASP.net is not supported by DW.

  Does this sort of thing is something I can only learn/teach myself in a week? Because that's what Im trying to do.

  If you're hand coding, probably not.  If you are just trying to connect an ASP.net script predefined in your HTML contact form, it shouldn't take more than an hour from start to finish. My advice is to ask that the firm s IT or tech support for help. For security reasons, you will not be able to use your own forms & scripts.  The unsecured forms & scripts may leave a server vulnerable to malicious attacks by hackers.  Check with your own people prior to this.

  The maxPeerConnections is usually very low due to the limitation of bandwidth on the network of the user, but the servers have the best network. So, can I use the NetGroup side server in FMS4 to make the server to be a super-peer which can have dozens of neighbors and the transport of the stream to all its neighbours?

  Yes, the peer server looks like any other peer in a group (it's all the same code under the hood).  However, if the server is not the multicast stream editor, then it will only be in mode 'push' to the default setting of multicastPushNeighborLimit, which is 4.  all its other peers will be able to request ("pull") the data from the server if they don't receive timely other peers, but you don't want not your multicast stream to be running strongly in fashion sweater anyway, because who's going to perform badly for everyone.  'pull' persistent mode means there is no capacity sufficient upload in the cracks of support 'push', so a large part of the bandwidth to download peer must already be at or near saturation.

• problem when call one side Committee client-side Server

  Hello world! I have a problem when I call a side Committee client-side server.

  Here's the code. When the swf file is connected to the FMS (the connection is successful) I use this application.user_so.send ("enterContestGroup"); to call the Committee client side. You can see that in the client side, I've defined the Committee 'enterContestGroup '. However, the fact is that it does not call that Committee. Can someone tell me what is the error?

  In fact, you can use broadcastMsg API to deliver the object to the customers.

• How to convert the side Server includes in the library items in DW CS4? Also change page website to .html .shtml files?

  I inherited our Web site created in DW with server side includes the column header, footer and navigation.  I don't know that anything on the server side includes.  I have a hosting company for the online site.  I don't know what that is a 'local web server' and did not have a set on toward the top on my computer - I know.

  I want to remove the server side includes the code <!-virtual = "" / head.htm #include '-> out of the body of the pages of the site and insert the code for the server side includes (the footer, header and nav). "  But I also want to be able to continue to make global changes to these files.

  Can I convert a server side includes the elements of library, and if so, how do I do this?  I'm still not real familiar with library items, but I know that I can make changes to their topic and make them take effect globally within the site.

  And can I change all of the web pages that are now all appointed to .html .shtml.  And can I change the names of files in the window of the local files in DW?

  Instead of dumbing down of the website which apparently works, why don't improve you your skill set and get warm & fuzzy with Server-Side Includes?

  SSIs are much more effective than the library items.  Lilies require you to republish the entire site whenever you change an element.  SSIs fill changes on the side server so that you don't need to republish the entire site whenever you edit & publish a SSI.  On larger sites, it is a huge time saver.

  Rename to .html .shtml files is not necessary to use library items. In fact, you can use SSIs and Lily on the same .shtml pages if you wish.

  They are in the library of the ADF Faces DURATION 11 under JDeveloper 11 g by default. If I had to guess, I would say that adf-richclient-api - 11.jar or adf-richclient-impl - 11.jar

• Is it possible to reduce a large image on the side Server (before serving the user)?

  One of the banes of my existence resizes the same image several times due to the it appears in a variety of contexts. For example, the main image in an article will appear larger it will be on the index page, where many teasers of the article are placed. There is the image that the Facebook "share" og. There... you get the idea.

  Same image, different contexts, a lot of resizing in Photoshop, a lot of files to follow... but I save on bandwidth.

  On the flip side, I can target the same image (large) and simply cut via traditional HTML (width/height) on the side of the browser, but which will result in the download of a file that is about 50-75% larger than what is actually needed. If the teaser of the first page displays a 1280px to 500px image, it's a huge (and potentially costly) waste of bandwidth.

  HOWEVER...

  If I could do the same SERVER side... in other words, tell the server to take only the pixels that he needs of the (large) image and serve only THOSE to the end user... so the same image could be used in every context, and only the necessary bandwidth is used.

  Is this feasible? If so, what is the process called officially, and where will begin to learn how do?

• FEX Uplink and Ports on the side Server

  I am very new to the environment of the UCS and having to return to the current fairly quickly. I decided to start with the chassis. But have a few questions.

  I hope someone can clarify how serverside ports are assigned less than ports uplink, 2204XP and 2208XP.

  My understanding is that the side ports server are assigned to the uplinks based on the number of uplink configured at the END.

  Once the FEX is initialized ports are hardcoded.

  Assuming 2 (6200 series) FI and 2 FEX (2204).

  2 each to their respective FI FEX uplinks

  8 blades width in the chassis.

  My understanding is;

  Uplink port 1 receive blades (1, 3, 5-7) and uplink 2 (2, 4, 6, 8)

  Question: Which ports are active for each blade and that FEX.

  For example the blade 1 assigned to Uplink on FEX A 1 with FEX B 1 uplink failover

  Blade 3 assigned to Uplink on FEX B 1 with FEX A 1 uplink failover

  In this case with a 2204, IOM provides 16 internal ports, 2 for each blade, and you can check which one is active with the command "Show software platform woodside m" mode FEX which is realized with the following commands:

  You can also go to the vNIC itself in the "Servers" tab by going to the Service profile > network and then double click on in the vNIC and you will see the configuration:

  

  For example: blade 1 assigned to Uplink on FEX A 1 with FEX B 1 uplink failover

  Blade 3 assigned to Uplink on FEX B 1 with FEX A 1 uplink failover

  This will be the case if you have the 'discovery of the chassis/FEX policy' located in the 'grouping preference link' on 'None' instead of 'channel of Port "; If it is "Port Channel", I won't miss not until all other links fail in the same module e/s, see below

  

  NOTE: this option is valid only if your hardware is ALL second generation, in other words, it does not work with fabric 61xx interconnections or 2104 IOM

  I have a Java EE application server want to communicate with customer JavaFX. What is the best technology to do this? I used the Web Service to Exchange before JSon data. But the performance is a problem and need more code to convert JSon to Java.

  What is the best depends on opinion, your application and your experience.

  Tech in general server-side is also a fairly large area, even if focus me only on the communication technology.

  • The use of web sockets on the client and server would be an option (it is part of JEE7 and you can include the libraries of customer specific web socket with your client application in JavaFX).  Web Sockets simply provide a transport mechanism, so you must always define your own protocol format and communication of serialization to sit on top of the raw web decision-making.  You can use stuff like JMS and STOMP on web socketsand pair it with that Jackson serialized JSON objects, but it is overkill for many applications.
  • Stick to something a little more proven as JAX-RS is bigger than the web use of sockets and you'll probably find examples more and have fewer teeth problems.
  • Things like Hessian binary formats are surprisingly simple to work with.
  • Akka is quite a system ordered, although it is not part of Java EE, it's a good choice if your application is basic Scala.  You can use it with Java, but I just like playing with it works better with Scala.

  In short, I guess, a lot of options.

  It's a little surprising, performance is usually not a problem for this kind of technology unless you are dealing with large scale, often people make too big a deal out of it IMO.  Generally, it's things like the number of roundtrips, the network latency and performance of Access database including most impacts network performance.

• Is there a way to dynamically determine the number of parameters to a procedure side Server?

  This is a helper method used to call a server-side function that traverses the bindVars parameter to fill the PARAMETERS of the function. Is there a way to dynamically determine the parameters input/output based on the procedure name in the stmt parameter? No member of the CallableStatement class looked promising, but the getParameterMetaData() in the PreparedStatement class method seemed it might be useful lead. However, I have not found any (yet) a detailed description of how to use it.

  PreparedStatement.getParameterMetaData () subject is exactly what you need for this task.

  Once you have the ParameterMetaData you can ask how many parameters are present, and how they are. Parameters are numbered from 1 to n, and you can use ParameterMetaData.getParameterMode (1); to get the function of parameter 1. • Tri side Server

  I have a datagrid with paged data. When I click on the column heading AdvancedDataGrid, existing data datagrid will be sorted. It's not just because I need to get the data sorted from the server. I tried to take columnHeaderRelease, and then click methods to retrieve sorted columns.

  If I want to disable the internal sorting, I call Event.preventDefault ().  It works but sort icons no longer works.

  I have extended Collection ArrayCollection to get sortFields and sort and disabled the datagrid's refresh() method. That way I can catch sortfields but somehow the value of the setter is null with.

• Long Shot of scripts for Server organization - help?

  I have a lot of scripts to identify the wreck of an image, but now I'm looking to put on a foot that will look at my server, identify among thousands of files at a time, PS, .jpg, and .tiff files only, verification of the wreck and the copy of those who are 300 dpi or more just to a local folder. From there on, I have another workflow for i to low resolution for the OPS files and rename it in their own folder. How to find enough for a response?

  NB If files have the same name, they will be replaced in the copy folder! It may be preferable to a folder at a time.

  Experts running on the designer, as well as macros in Excel - can do everything what you want you mind, but arre run from the design.

  In OWB 11 g 2 code templates are kind of like the counterpart of execution.
