  I inherited our Web site created in DW with server side includes the column header, footer and navigation.  I don't know that anything on the server side includes.  I have a hosting company for the online site.  I don't know what that is a 'local web server' and did not have a set on toward the top on my computer - I know.

  I want to remove the server side includes the code <!-virtual = "" / head.htm #include '-> out of the body of the pages of the site and insert the code for the server side includes (the footer, header and nav). "  But I also want to be able to continue to make global changes to these files.

  SSIs are much more effective than the library items.  Lilies require you to republish the entire site whenever you change an element.  SSIs fill changes on the side server so that you don't need to republish the entire site whenever you edit & publish a SSI.  On larger sites, it is a huge time saver.

  Rename to .html .shtml files is not necessary to use library items. In fact, you can use SSIs and Lily on the same .shtml pages if you wish.

  SRM and VCenter can coexist on the same server.  You will see a performance impact when you test your disaster recovery plan.  I think that a lot of achievements have vCenter and SRM on the same server.  If you do not want to take the risk of a performance hit on your vCenter server you might move RS for its own box, but I advise to use a virtual machine instead of another physical server.

  I think that you need a license of vCenter to each site.  If your recovery site hosts only the DR then you can use your existing licenses for ESX.  If your DR will site also its own VM produciton is then you will need full license.

• HP 8500 printer and connection to the eprint Server

  The 2wire support team gave me the procedure to open completely all the in and out traffice to the printer. They said that if it does not, then the problem is with the eprint server.   I JUST LOOKED AT THE BACK OF MY PRINTER. IT HAS A STICKER ON IT RECONDITIONED.

  It seems that the number of missing on the remanufacturered units model is the reason why it does not connect to the eprint server. Print the diagnostic printer page and see if the model number is empty.

  HP is working on a fix.

  I UPGRADED MY ORDER WITH RENOVATED WITH NEW REPLACEMENT. THE REPLACEMENT AGAIN CONNECTED THE FIRST TIME TO THE SERVER EMPRINT - NO PROBLEM. I HAD TO PAY FOR A NEW AND THEY WILL CREDIT MY CARD WHEN THEY REACH THE RENOVATED A RETURN.

  LESSON LEARNED - IF YOU HAVE THE PRINTER WITH THE VIRGIN MODEL NUMBER YOU CAN NOT CONNECT TO EPRINT, NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO!

  One of the banes of my existence resizes the same image several times due to the it appears in a variety of contexts. For example, the main image in an article will appear larger it will be on the index page, where many teasers of the article are placed. There is the image that the Facebook "share" og.   Same image, different contexts, a lot of resizing in Photoshop, a lot of files to follow... but I save on bandwidth.

  On the flip side, I can target the same image (large) and simply cut via traditional HTML (width/height) on the side of the browser, but which will result in the download of a file that is about 50-75% larger than what is actually needed. If the teaser of the first page displays a 1280px to 500px image, it's a huge (and potentially costly) waste of bandwidth.

  HOWEVER...

  If I could do the same SERVER side... in other words, tell the server to take only the pixels that he needs of the (large) image and serve only THOSE to the end user... so the same image could be used in every context, and only the necessary bandwidth is used.

  Is this feasible? If so, what is the process called officially, and where will begin to learn how do?

I have installation EMP + Essbase, Planning, and then cross EPM System Configurator. Now I need to create the new application, I guess, but I have the problem with the addition of Administration Server. After typing the host and server port response message back running. But I can not authenticate with the credentials of the administrator... I put the username and pass set up in the Essbase Administration Services of EPM System Configurator window, but I get the message:
