  To change this setting, please try opening your Contacts app and pulling down on the top of the screen to open the settings Menu. Then scroll to Facebook in the contacts list and change the OFF button. Fight back, then close and reopen your Contacts app. Which should remove all your Facebook contacts in your address book.

  I got the place 8 as a Christmas gift. I like the size and the screen and thought it was suppose to be decent in the speed Department. However, mine is extremely slow. Last night I don't have a half hour trying to scroll through facebook. After restarting the Tablet, I spent half an hour trying to access the Dell support page. When I push the back button it can last from 10 seconds to 2 minutes to make it work. Any ideas on why it's so slow? What can I do?

  When I use headphones with the S205, I hear faint static audio (very low but nonetheless present) (such as a light, uneven pitch).  Use of the touch pad, a mouse, or a HARD drive access changes the character of static electricity.

  Static electricity in is NOT affected by the setting of the audio volume (i.e., it does not get louder or softer... it's always the same) and when nothing is led through the audio system, static electricity is imperceptible (and the sound is undistorted).

  However, when there is 'silence', it's really annoying.

  I plugged my Klipsch Office system, and I don't notice the static at all (I know that it has not disappeared, of course).  But with headphones...

  Is this a problem congenital with this product, or unique to my system (and, therefore, a warranty issue)?  Can someone check?

  I have the E-350 and 3 GB of RAM.  It's pretty catchy, all things considered, but appear to be limited RAM (especially when you scroll the Facebook newsfeed).  Intended to go from 3 GB to 6 GB of RAM (a simple $19,99).  Has anyone else done this and does it make a significant difference in performance (hopefully, the answer is Yes)?

  My Firefox has a weird behavior when I open Facebook and start to scroll, I have attached two images, first image is when I open facebook, everything is ok (I dimmed the contacts), second image is when I start scrolling down, you will see square masive black with blue navigation.   Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • Click the menu button

    

    click Help

    

    then select restart with disabled modules.

  If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
  • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
    (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  Thank you for your question. Right now, your question was refitted to the Helpdesk and to examine the issue, I will need a little more troubleshooting information.

  First please try to access the page in a private window, and then try to reproduce the problem in Mode safe, if it is not reproducible in Mode without failure, then one of the extension or pug-ins can affect scripts on this page.

  "Try Mode without failure of Firefox to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.
  

  (If you use it, switch to the default theme).

  • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.

  Try scrolling down while Facebook and the size of the reduced entire page down, and even it can be read. This isn't a problem, when I tried to use another browser.

  You can have pressed the Ctrl key and the page zoom out.

  Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: view > Zoom > reset (Ctrl + 0 (zero); Cmd + 0 on Mac)

• XPS 15 freezes Facebook scrolling

  Hello

  I received my XPS 15 (9550) yesterday and have a lot of freeze. the laptop just hangs and I can't press any keys or do something... the only option is to press and hold the power button and restart.

  I can reproduce the error when I scroll a little fast through facebook, it seems to be related to the graphics driver.

  someone has the same problem or knows how to fix? I've tried a full system reset, but it did not work.

  Dell has today changed my motherboard and now it seems fixed. Certainly a hardware error!

  I'm building a site muse of a model I bought online.
  I managed to get all my widgets to social media (a little) lined up on my page, but my Facebook widget does not scroll as it is assumed below the header.
  It scrolls on top.

  I tried to organize my layers. The usual rule of (from top to bottom) does not apply for the Facebook widget.

  Facebook instructions / code. Is there something in there that puts the widget above all? (I can't read or write the code.)

  Create new layer and before moving the header again master layer should work where the FB content scrolls behind the header.

  I have been using my desktop pc with the installed graphics card and processor P4 HT 3 GHz... and I am also able to play graphics demanding games like crysis 2... but unfortunately my browser chrome and ie lag too while scrolling and flash games is laggy too...
