scrolling toolbar on

I managed to change what is happening when I scroll over the icons on the taskbar. Previously, a window of the screen would pop up, but now all I get is a display of windows that are open. How can I get this back?

Thank you

K.S.

You must enable Aero with a Windows theme for 'peek' on the taskbar.

  • How can I force "toolbars" on the pages scroll up and away when I scroll the page?

Many pages have one or more toolbars or widgets that are still locked into place at the top of the web page when you scroll from top to bottom. How can I disable their ability to do so? It is so annoying when shit like that takes 1/3 of your screen and leaves so much less space available for what you're trying to read. The attached picture is for a particularly annoying page that is typical of how mentally disabled web developers at ESPN wasting your screen space: sports.espn.go.com/nfl/standings has * THREE * of those annoying widgets: one disappears when you scroll down to the low enough, but you're stuck with the other two down any distance you highlight.

Many web pages make the problem worse by putting also contained locked into place at the bottom of the page, reducing more usable display area - shit like that should not be visible until you scroll at the bottom of the web page.

You can optionally use the extension Stylish add some site specific rules to hide these items, but who's going to hide them completely.

With my old drive, I could add zoom marquee in my toolbar, it is quick to use.  My company has updated everything and now we have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and I cannot figure out how to put the zoom marquee on my quick access toolbar.  Can anyone help?

    Hey rosch726,

    We could certainly help you.

Open the file in the drive and go to "view > show/hide > elements Toolbar > see the selection & Zoom tools > Marquee Zoom.

Once you select it, you can see the icon Zoom text scrolling in the toolbar, making it easier for you to access from there.

    Hope that helps.

  • empty space between the scroll bar horizontally and toolbar Add on

A blank grey bar appears at the bottom of my screen/window between the horizontal scroll bar and the bar of State/add-on.

The grey area empty is just under 1/2 inch from top and runs the entire width of the screen/window, less the left sidebar.

When I go to this bar, nothing happens.
When I right click in this field, nothing happens.

This empty gray bar appears on every site I visit in the same exact location, which means that it is a matter of Firefox, not only isolated to a single Web site.

Disabled add-ons to see if space disappears.
None of my modules had an effect of this area of the screen/window.
The empty grey area is still visible.

Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

If this new profile works then you can transfer files from the old profile to the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

  • I don't know how i ' v, but I lost the toolbars at the top and bottom. [Alt] will not bring up the toolbar and scroll keys do not work. How can I fix it?

I managed to hide the toolbars, ALL of them. [Alt] brings to the top of the toolbar so that I can change them. In addition, the [previous page] [next page], [home] and [end] keys do not work.

    You can have:

    1. Choose the Mode "full screen" or
    2. unchecked toolbars

The F11 key activates / turns off Mode full screen or not. Full screen, you have no toolbars, no tab and no bar Add on (bottom).

If unchecked you your toolbars (checked = displayed; UN - check = not displayed), and then do one of the following, then click on those you want to check/uncheck:

  • Horizontal scrolling at the top title

    Hello

Is it possible to create a title that of at the top of the screen and scrolls along the right to the left.

    Thank you

    William

    Hi, will,

Yes, you can do it, but it takes a little tinkering.   The title says "Ticker" creates a right to left scrolling on the bottom.  You can use it to create a scroll on the top.   To do this, create a project together just to work on the title.  Click the background button and drag a black background in the timeline of the project title.  Then add the Ticker title, with the desired text.  Now share the draft title on your desktop as a file.   You now have a clip of the song.  Drag this item in your original project in which you intend to use it.  Place it above the time line on the clip you want to use in.  Select the clip of the song and then click the icon in the toolbar at the top of your screen that looks like to the overlap of the squares.  In the selection box that appears, select the image in the image.  Set your title at the top of the preview screen element so that the part of scroll appears at the top of your clip.  You can push the top even if the black part goes out of the screen.  Then click on the Reset button and you have a right to left scrolling at the top of your screen.

It's a little clumsy, I know.  And you may have to play with it a bit to get it to appear as you want.

    I hope this helps.

  • last updat removed modification of my toolbar FireFox

Last update of FireFox icons for FireTube music player add on has disappeared from the toolbar. It still appears in the extensions, but there is no access. I rebooted, checked the customization menu, looked at all the parameters, I'm skilled enough to check (not very) and I can't find anything. I really want that add on the back and if it can be done in the latest FireFox I would like to know how to revert to the last version.

    Thank you in advance.

Hi, Switcher, it seems that FireTube was unfortunately not being updated to work with Firefox 40. The extension uses the old module of 'widget' to add his touch to the toolbar and the module no longer exists in Firefox 40.

You want to contact the developer for support@palmerintech. com and alert on the issue?

If your life is not complete without modification, you may do one of the following values for now:

    (1) switch to use regular Firefox using the version with Extended Support Release of Firefox 38, which is designed for corporations, but is available for all those who want to maintain backward compatibility (all ESR: http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/organizations/);

    (2) find an extension update with the functions you need. or

    (3) go to Firefox 39.0.3, bearing in mind security issues (install an older version of Firefox).

If you decide to try the version Extended Support Release (ESR) of Firefox, here is how I suggest to install:

    Clean reinstall it

We use this name, but it isn't about deleting your settings, this is to ensure that the program, files are clean (not incompatible, corrupt or exotic code files). As described below, this process does not disrupt your existing settings. Don't uninstall NOT Firefox, that does not need.

    (A) download a fresh Installer for Firefox 38.2.0esr of https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/organizations/all/ in an ideal location. (Scroll down your preferred language).

    (B) the release of Firefox (if any).

    (C) to rename the program folder, either:

    (Windows 64-bit folder names)

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

    TO

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Fx40

    (Windows 32-bit folder names)

    C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

    TO

    C:\Program Files\Fx40

    (D) run the installer downloaded to (A). It should automatically connect to your existing settings.

Note: Some plugins can only exist in the old folder. If it is missing something essential, present in these files:

    • \Fx40\Plugins
    • \Fx40\browser\plugins
  • Some web pages do not have the installation of scrolling in Firefox, but they do in Safari, I would like to solve this problem.

On some web pages, for example http://www.zen169231.zen.co.uk/jimsplace/beginwinders.htm (and others), by clicking on another topic, the page appears without a scroll bar and does not scroll with the mouse wheel either. This only happens in Firefox and Safari, I do not normally use as I prefer Firefox. Thank you very much.

This problem seems to occur in popup windows, or can it happen in any window? The reason why I mention pop-up windows is that there is a bug in Firefox 38 with the following combination of circumstances:

    (1) viewing a page in a private browsing window
    (2) tabbed browsing is powered down
    (3) you click on a link that launches the link in a new window (because the site code the link with target = "_blank")

The new window opens without menus, toolbar, scroll bars, etc.

Work on this bug is in progress, but I don't know if the fix will be available in the coming weeks. These are the known workarounds so you can continue using windows browsing private - one of them will work around the bug:

    (1) use tabbed browsing (there is a checkbox in the preferences > General > "Open new windows in a new tab instead");

    (2) shift + click the links to open in a new window with standard features. or

    (3) change a bunch of hidden settings as explained below - it will not you make changes to the way you use Firefox, but sometimes you need to enlarge some small pop-up windows that have been sized for a window with no toolbar displayed.

    # 3, here are the steps:

    (A) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (B) in the search above the list box, type or paste feat and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (C) for each preference that begins with dom.disable_window_open_feature. , if it is not 'true', double-click it to true.

You may find that you prefer this anyway, given that sites can band is more these pop-up windows features.

  • Homepage is fine(full Menubar) when I opened a new tab that the menu bar disappears as well as the ability to scroll disappears. all I have is the above address bar

In the past I've always had my open pages in a new window and not in a new tab, but it is useless if I can't see the entire page because I only have the address bar, and I can minimize and expand or close the page. There is no scrolling up and down. Now, I have to go to my office and open a new window and paste the address in order to get a working page. I even went up to uninstall and delete the Mozilla in programs, redownload and install, but I have the same problem.
