    Yes. Buy a reader able to read SDHC cards. You can buy them very
    low cost;  for example, on Amazon.com, you can find one for $2.50
    US.

    I have two of them I bought from Amazon: one that I keep on my
    Office and another that I keep in my case of laptop for use when traveling.

  • Windows XP will not read sdhc memory

    How is my windows xp it will not read sdhc memory?

    How my windows xp read the sdhc memory card?

    See the following article:

    (934428) hotfix for Windows XP that
    Adds support for SDHC cards that have
    a capacity of more than 4 GB

    If the hotfix does not fix the problem... it is possible that your
    media player is not compatible with the SDHC technology.
    Best perhaps is to buy an external drive that is SDHC
    compatible or download to the device using a USB cable.

  • Is Satellite A300 - 1 5 read SDHC class 6/4 cards?

    Satellite A300 - 1 5 supports class 6/4 SDHC memory cards?

    I tried to search it on the internet and in the user manual and specifies the SD but not SDHC cards.
    Also, I read the other satellite A300 on SDHC answers saying that it can be read.

    He also read my model?

    Hi dude

    Satellite A300 - 1 5 series supports type maps:
    -SD Card - 8MB - 2GB
    -SDHC - 4 GB - 16 GB card
    -photo - 16 MB - 2 GB xD card
    -Memory Stick - 8MB - 256MB
    -Memory Stick Pro - 256 MB - 2 GB
    -MultiMediaCard - 8MB - 2GB

    -microSD (with adapter) - 512 MB - 4 GB

  • Satellite M110 PSMBOA - it reads SDHC 8 GB or 16 GB cards

    Does anyone know if this model with Windows XP home SP3 can read especially SDHC card 8 GB or 16 GB SD cards?

    Or did someone knows if there is an update to the driver or firmwire that will allow this player to card read these types of cards

    Thank you

    Hello

    That means the user manual says?
    Did you check that?

    For me, it looks like the Australian series for Toshiba laptop.
    I looked in the manual that I ve found on the Australian Toshiba page and it says that these cards are supported:

    * SD * 8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB, 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB
    * MMC * 8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB, 512 MB, 1 GB
    * MS * 8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB
    * MS Pro * 256 MB, 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB
    * xD * 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB, 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB

    As you can see SDHC cards are NOT supported.

  • Memory card reader cannot read SDHC cards.

    HP m8120n memory card reader apparently cannot handle the SDHC cards, or it is possible that he can't because I changed from Vista to Windows 7.  Where can I find the proper drivers?

    A driver will not solve this problem. It would require an update of the firmware, but depending on the age of your system, which will not happen. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but buy an external USB card reader to solve your problem.

  • Pouvez Satellite 2450-114 read SDHC with the latest drivers?

    Hello
    Do you know if the Satellite 2450-114 windows XP home supports playback of the SDHC with the latest drivers and the maximum capacity supported?

    Thank you

    Yann

    Hello

    Satellite 2450-114 is a former, and in my opinion, it would not support the SDHC card using even the latest drivers why?
    Because the card holder is not in the software/driver, but this is a simple physical limitation (card reader)

    So I suggest to use an external USB card reader these drives are cheap and easy to use

    Welcome them

    =========================================
    The SDHC technology is different and it is possible that your media
    Player is simply not compatible.

    There might be an update available on the media player support
    site or on the site of the manufacturer of the computer support.

    More than likely your best bet would be to download the camera
    via USB cable or purchase a media player that is fully compatible
    with SDHC.

    As far as I know that the Satellite A120 supports SD cards up to 1 GB.

  • Satellite L40 - cannot read with Windows XP SDHC cards?

    Hello

    last year, I bought a Satellite L40 series and a Windows Vista has been installed on it. I found that everything worked properly.

    Since then, I found that Windows Vista is slower than XP, I upgraded to Windows XP and I installed all the drivers manually. Everything works fine until I found that I can read only SD card with the Ricoh card reader on my laptop. With Windows Vista, he could read SD and SDHC.

    Like all of my files saved to the SDHC, I really want to solve this issue.

    I detected on the computer that is my card reader equipment:

    Ricoh Memory Stick Host controller (1.0.2.5)
    Ricoh MMC Host COntroller (1.0.0.9)
    Ricoh XD-Picture Card Host Controller (1.00.02.08 / 6.0.1.13)

    The questions are:
    1. the drive to read SDHC card with the Windows XP platform?
    2. If Yes, what should I do with it? Maybe I need to install a new driver? (If Yes, where can I find it?)

    Thank you for your concern. I'm really happy if you can help me solve this issue.

    Best regards
    Jenny

    Hello

    You may notice yellow exclamation in Device Manager?

    Normally, the Satellite L40 can read SDHC cards up to 8 GB so my question is have you tried different brands of SDHC cards?
    I have good experiences with Kingston and SanDisk cards.

    In addition, you should check the Web from Toshiba site for an update of the card reader:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

    Last but not least you have installed all the Service Packs and updates for Windows?

  • Portege R500: SDHC card can be read in the SD slot

    Portege R 500 does not read SDHC cards in the SD slot. Normal SD cards can be read without problem. Manual states that you can read SDHC cards. in various forums, that it is specified, that SDHC cards up to 16 GB of work without problem. I already have downloeded and installed the latest version of the SD utilities, unfortunately without success.

    Hello

    I discovered that you can use the SD 2 GB and 8 GB SDHC cards.

    I put t know why you are not able to use your SDHC card but I would recommend clear slot SD Device Manager after restarting again to reinstall the driver of the European driver Toshiba page.

    But wait;
    Have you used Windows XP?
    If so, have you installed SP2 and that MS patch?
