  I have a HP zbook studio G3 laptop. I want to go to the Nvidia graphics card permanently.  I tried to disable graphics integrated in the Device Manager, uninstall the driver and allowing even the nvidea card chart of all profiles in the parameter 3D tap in the Nvidia configuration software. Non of them seems to work as the integrated graph is always in action and simple games could not be executed. I always keep in the option to high-performance mode, and the laptop is still connected. Should I manipulate the bios setup?

  I have the version non-studio of Zbook 15 G3 which has removable video card. I added the video card after purchase and found that it worked just right if I went into the BIOS and set it to use only the nVidia card. However, because yours is graphic switchable I don't know that you have this option. Have you looked at even the BIOS? Press ESC you turn on, then F10

  1 so I tried to run on the server with installed VMware ESXi 5.1 U1. Of course, in VShereClient I see just material unknown PCIe, but can passthrough to guest OS Windows 7 64 bit. I can see Lynx AES16e (after installation of the driver) in Device Manager (where you can all available in the system as videoadapters devices, cpu, net and so on), then I'll mix Windows (where you can see which Audio devices are available for the reading/recording and there only remote audio device NOT Lynx AES16e.)

I now have to import some RAF of the HD files but LR shows them as dazed out and said that they have already been imported when I hover over the thumbnail.   If Lightroom then reads these as duplicate files, it shows that they are already present in your Lightroom Catalog.

  You can search by file name and check if the image is present in your library.

  I need advice on a good new graphics card for iMac 27 inch end 2012. My work is mainly in animation, Visual effects and game development soon, so I need an additional card to increase my speed.

  Currently, I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB card. Do you think I should stick to a similar card? Is there something new that will offer me better performance at an affordable cost?

  I don't have much money to spend, but I can certainly use additional graphics now.

  I have also 2 remaining memory locations that accepts DDR3 1600 MHz memory module, but it seems that this module is no longer available. If I had to choose between a graphics card and RAM, which should I go with?

  Finally, can I install these myself? I don't have any Apple Store around me and I do not trust the computer guys in my area.

  First of all, the iMacs are notoriously difficult to make something with except add RAM. Here is a good site where you can get some info on the dismantling, etc.:

  Usually, graphics cards should be replaced with the same model/type of work (if any) - see above site for this kind of info. I'm quite sure that you cannot add just one - iMac is not designed for it.

  Regarding the RAM, just check out OWC for necessary RAM:

  Check that your model is listed. I don't know where you would have been told that the RAM is no longer available (FWIW, Apple does not sell RAM and uses of third party RAM in the new Macs).

  I'd go with the RAM - how many do you have now? Adding RAM is easy.

  On my Macbook Pro 13 inch Core I5 2 .6GHz, I just noticed that my SD card reader and USB ports have stopped working. They hub and drive appear in the information of the reporting system. I tried to reset PRAM and SMC but no luck so far and my Time Machine backup is on a SSD in a USB 3.0 hard drive enclosure. Any ideas how to reset the hub and the reader?
