• After the FireFox 16.0.1 in Windows Update, the address bar no longer works, as well as the search bar, but not immediately. Reinstalling does not fix it.

  Initially, I downloaded an AOL optimized version, but when the problem came I reinstalled the regular version and it was fine. Two days ago, it restarts randomly. Address bar won't go anywhere with entry or press the arrow and the search bar does any search engine. Try adding a search engine by clicking on "manage search engines" doesn't help; the 'Add a search engine' button is unresponsive and there is not in the list of your choice. I uninstalled everything, including my customizations and settings personal and reinstalled, which did not always help. I tried to disable all plugins and that no longer works. I even tried the search by looking for FireFox homepage, since at this time there, it was the only page I could do and even who would not find. The most recent that I downloaded add-on was the Evernote Web Clipper I think, but it does not seem to coincide with the beginning of the problems.

  Update: I ran a malware (MalWareBytes) program and it came with nothing. I also found in FireFox to get troubleshooting information and added in. In addition, here is my list of plugin/extension:

  You previously installed another version of Firefox and if it did not seem possible that one would contribute to a clean reinstall, but it is not a general solution that all users should be considered without first try simpler and safer alternatives.

• most regions have disappeared but not quite gone

  strange things occurred when I change the instrument patches, like any automated data disappear when I pass different amps, or regions went with a microphone preamp. boring, but it was always a few steps of the history as I'm keeping my eye on it. However, today, I went patches on a drum machine. or maybe that drummers aren't technically a patch, nomatta. After switching drummers, all audio files and the communities in the region have disappeared and hundreds of back in the day previous measures don't make no diff. they are still visible in the audio project tree well so I'm not going to refrain from panic yet. I have updated and updated the editor track and file, main menu and menu of file audio project. • I need a page of behavior! (Sort of a redirect, but not quite...)

  I use DW MX to build and maintain the index pages for a library of documents on a corporate network.
  The pages are static, just links to the PDF format, so we do not use an application server.
  
  The PHB decided he wants links pre-built (per month) for doctors who do not yet exist, and until they exist it wants a page "these pages do not exist' for each of dozens of non-existent pages.

• Z3100: Designjet Z3100 seems to work in Windows 10 (64 bit) with Windows 7 (64 bit) driver, but not quite

  Following the previous advice from the community on Z2100 drivers for Windows 10, I installed the Win7 driver for my Z3100 and all seemed well until I tried to turn on Application managed color - it seems that it works, but when you close and reopen the installation of the printer, it goes back to Priniter managerd. A similar effect ooccurs with ICM. It seems that it is a consequence of the use of a driver Win7 in Win10 and so basically I can't use Photoshop or the Qimage for driving my printer more. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you very much

  Changes to the print made from the application preferences are temporary.

  To default setting, go to devices and printers, click with the right button on the printer and select Printing Preferences. Set your default values and click ok to save.

• Acrobat CC - clipart in PDF but not requiring security is not a password to open?

  Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!  I'm confused by the security options and have been searching for answers, but not quite the answer I need.  I create a pdf file will be available as an instant download on a Web site.  I need to get the document so that the clip art into the document is "locked", but the text is editable.  Security settings - and maybe it's the way things are made - are shake me up.  I don't want to ask a password for someone else to open the document.  I want to just ensure images/clip.  Should what settings I use to achieve this?  It seems that everything is demanding a password, which I don't.

  Simply enter the permissions password as it is said. Left, you have OFF require a password to open the document. You must have a permissions password, but users don't need.

• HP Envy 15 x 360: HP Envy 15 x 360 Audio said it emits but not sound

  Went to this for an hour and I tried all the previous solutions. I've updated, uninstalled/reinstalled, restart the computer, shoot bad, etc., but nothing seems to solve my audio. It is not a problem with the headphones as with or without them audio does not work. I think it's a problem with the speakers, but not quite sure.

  Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. It's a great site for information and questions. I looked in your question on your HP ENVY 15 360 questions X Notebook and with the sound doesn't work does not correctly. Here's a documenton troubleshooting sounds if you need it.

  Please ensure that your edits were made on the laptop. In under his right click Device Manager and update driver. This is another step to try.

  1. right click the speaker icon in the lower right corner of your time.
  2. click on playback devices.
  3. click on speakers/headphones.
  4. click on properties.
  5. click on the Advanced tab in the Properties window.
  6. change the default menu Format in the highest quality.
  7. apply properties.
  8. click OK to close the Properties window.
  9. click OK to close the playback devices.

  You can do a System Restore. System Restore will help if something is automatically updated and wasn't on the laptop.

  When running a system restore note remove all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices because they can cause problems.

• Firefox 14.0.1 shows is no longer the Norton SAfe Web icon in the seacch results. The toolbar is there but NOT the icon of web security next to the URL in the search results

  After updating to Firefox 14.0.1 my results search no longer show the icon of Norton WEB security beside each result. It worked fine before the upgrade. The Norton toolbar is there, and when you click on the site that the web report secure is there but NOT the icon in the search results.

  Norton has released updates for Firefox 14 morning even as the version of Firefox 14. Norton releases usually updates, the morning even as the new versions of Firefox. Have you updated Norton through their LiveUpdate?

  I have five Apple devices which are connected via iCloud. The only one who is not properly synchronized is the iPhone 6. It receives the calendar events, but will not send them.

  Please, try the following...

  1. First make sure that all of your settings are correct, that the calendar synchronization is checked on all devices (System Preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on iPhone, iPad, or iPod).
  2. Make sure the calendars that you use are in your "iCloud" and not a "on my Mac", "On My Phone" or other iCloud no account (you can do this by clicking / pressing the calendar button in the upper left corner of the application), iCloud no calendars will be not synchronize.
  3. If you are sure that everything is configured correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you could try to uncheck syncing calendar in iCloud settings, reboot your device and then reactivating calendar sync settings.

• COM in C++, but not in Labview shooting event

  Attached are on I have a problem with the screws.  The main VI is connection, which has a reminder VI which is testCallback methods.

  The question, as I understand it, is that the OnGazeData event is not fired, because I created the recall VI to create and write to a file. However, the file is not created.

  My first question is whether or not my shooting events will block waiting 500 SC in the loop.

  I can't redistribute the .dll file that defines these functions, but I'll try to describe what did OnGazeData; the rest should be pretty self explanatory of the attached screw.

  OnGazeData is fired whenever the connected device has data to interpret.  The data of the event will be a structure called gazeData.   There are a number of elements to the structure, including a timestamp as well as the size of pupil left and right eye.  All variables in the structure are either integers or floating-point numbers.

  Curiously, the C++ code provided with the device works, as far as I know, in the same way as my connection VI.  Lights OnGazeData and the C++ program displays the results in a window.

  In the end, I really wish I could use Labview to interpret the gazeData that OnGazeData fires, which is why the user setting (which will be eventually changed to a Variant or a cluster, I'm really not sure).

  Is there something that stands out for you that could be the cause of the problems?  I realize it's hard to debug without the .dll real access to the same functions as I have.  I was banging my head against this VI for a few weeks now, and I'm really at a loss for what could be changed or improved now.

  This is my first project in Labview, please forgive my ignorance.  Thank you for taking the time to look over what I have to say.

  Re: GUID, IDL, COM server:

  I think I mispoke in the title; I don't think that it is a COM event as long as it is a component.  I don't really know what a COM server is or how to find out if there is still an IDL.  The documentation I read is not a native English, and I'm having a hard time he deciphering at all.

  So I guess my revised question should look like this:

  • How to find out if my structure is indeed declared as a struct with a GUID in the file of the COM server IDL
  • If not, can someone point me in the right direction regarding writing a wrapper .dll file, preferably one that easily fits into LV via .net or ActiveX).  Reminder, .net and ActiveX are all pretty new to me.

  you don't mispoke not in the title, the COM server and COM event is correct. A bit on the functioning internal COM server:

  COM servers are built using IDL files. IDL means "interface definition language", an IDL file is a text file that looks a bit like a C header file. It contains the interface definitions. Interfaces consist of properties and methods, ones that you can access through the property and invoke nodes of LV each interface has a GUID, a unique global identifier. The IDL file is compiled into a library of types, a binary representation of the IDL file. LV reads information from the interface and coclass type library. If you have Visual Studio installed you can view the type libraries using a tool called OleView.exe. So you might find if structs are used. Sounds complicated, but it's COM :-)

  If you have to deal with types incompatible automation (e.g., struct) you need a wrapper. With a bit of luck you need not write C++ but can instead create a .NET DLL wrapper: The .NET SDK provides a tool Tlbimp can you use to accomplish this task. It is a command line tool that takes the name of the COM DLL as a parameter. After you create the interop with tlbimp DLL, you can use in LV. Structs are also exported as .NET objects, so you can create and access.

• Down on the Image, but not on the mouse scroll bar event?

  Hi all

  I use an event "Mouse Down" on an image to save the coordinates X and Y of the click and increment a counter.  My problem is that I'm looking at an image with a scroll bar that I want to use to set what part of the image is visible.  When I click on the scroll bar, I set off the mouse event down and increments the counter, which I won't do.

  Is there a way to implement a mouse event to the bottom so that it will ignore clicks on the image scroll bars?  If not, can you think of another way to accomplish what I'm doing?

  Some quick ideas:

  The scroll bars will be a fixed height or width of the right or at the bottom of the indicator. In the mouse to the bottom of the event handler, if the click happens to a set of coordinates that are in a region of scroll bar, you know, do not increment the counter.

  OR

  Maybe you can overlay a transparent image control such that it covers the image but not the scroll bars, and find clicks on this second control.
