Then, you are clearly infected by malicious software.

Download, install and run both of these freeware programs:
MalwareBytes AntiMalware and SuperAntiSpyware

  • I keep redirected to the American version of a site rather than the site of origin.

Recently I hooked to reading the articles of a UK site, but recently, when I click on the links in the article I'm automatically redirected to the American site and its contents to the place! I live in the United States but hate the American site articles and many prefer the British. Initially, my only solution was to stop the article during the loading in order to stay on the link of the desired article, but also the end that fails and I'm automatically redirected to the American pages instead (ugh...).

I am currently using 25.0 Firefox on Windows 7 Home Premium and checked the box 'Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page' under Tools > Options > advanced > General > section accessibility but was always redirected. I also installed the add-on Refresh Blocker v0.8 but was always redirected. The site is http://www.denofgeek.com but when I select an article on their homepage or the categories I get redirected to the "equivalent" http://www.denofgeek.us As a precaution, I have performed an analysis of malware but come clean and have deleted all cookies and temporary internet files, but once again it was in vain.

Is there anything else I can do to avoid the redirect? Or if this site has officially lost a player? Any help is appreciated.

I don't know why you will be redirected, but here are a few thoughts:

    (1) in case your preference for .us is stored in a cookie - rather than an account setting - try to clear the cookies for the site (this will probably end your session, so save all pending work first). While displaying a page on the site, try either:

    • Click on the globe or the padlock in the address bar > more information > Security > "View Cookies".
    • Right click on the page > View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".
    • Menu Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".

In the dialog box that opens, you can delete cookies from the site individually.

Any changes in the navigation of the homepage?

    (2) if give you permission to site to access your location, that turns off. You can access specific permissions to the site while displaying a page on the site using the Page Info dialog box. Either:

    • Click on the globe or the padlock in the address bar > more information > permissions
    • Right click on the page > View Page Info > permissions
    • Menu Tools > Page Info > permissions

(See screen shot on location approval)

    (3) if the site uses your preferred language to redirect, you can add en-GB and reorganize your languages. However, this could lead to strange results on other sites. If you want to try it, go to the languages of content here options dialog box:

the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > content > select button

    Hi Limkk1952,

Thank you for contributing to the communities of Apple Support.

If you are redirected to other web sites or see pop-up windows when using Safari on your iPhone, here are some steps to try first:

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, force Safari to close. To avoid automatically reopen all Safari Windows, go to settings > Safari, then click clear history, and data from the Web site. It also removes your browser history and cookies.

Stop advertising windows pop-up and adware in Safari

You can also try Safari settings by following the steps in web settings Safari on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

In addition, if this happens when you are connected to a Wi - Fi network, try the following steps:

    • If someone set up your network, ask them for help. If you use a network in a business, school, hotel, store or other place of Wi - Fi, find an employee for assistance.
    • Try to connect to a Wi - Fi network in a different location.
    • Update your Wi - Fi router with the latest firmware and check that the router supports your Apple product. For more information, contact the manufacturer of your router.

    Hello

For some reason, Safari Version 9.1.2 (11601.7.7) insists to redirect http requests to https on a particular website, mine: http://blog.f28.ro/ and crashes "Safari can't open the page"https://blog.f28.ro/", because Safari is unable to establish a connection to the server"blog.f28.ro"."

Which is a load of crap, because my site does not use https and works perfectly on Chrome 52.0.2743.116 (64-bit). The Console application show that each update: August 22 at 19:12:26 MacMini com.apple.WebKit.Networking [309]: NSURLSession/NSURLConnection HTTP load failed (kCFStreamErrorDomainSSL,-9802)

Is it possible to stop the redirections Safari nonexistent https?

  • When I click on connect to some sites, I get redirected to another site that is displayed on the desired site.

When I click on connect to some sites, I get redirected to another site that is displayed on the desired site.  It is easy to remove to get to the site that you want, but it is annoying.  I tried SuperAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes, Microsoft Safety Scanner, nothing helps.  The first time I ran SuperAntiSpyware it found and eliminated 4 threats, but I've been redirect since then.  It redirects not every time, but run randomly.   Any suggestions?

And the name of the site?

Try the following tips that are effective against some forms of adware.

AdwCleaner is a program that finds and removes the Adware, toolbars, potentially unwanted programs (PUP) and browser hijackers from your computer.  Using AdwCleaner you can easily more of these types of programs for a better user experience on your computer delete and while browsing the web.

The types of programs that AdwCleaner targets are usually bundled with free programs that you download from the Internet.  In many cases when you download and install a program, the installation will specify that these programs will be installed with the program you downloaded.  Unless you perform a custom installation, these unwanted programs will automatically be installed on your computer, leaving you with the extra browser toolbars, advertising and other unwanted programs.  AdwCleaner is designed to find and remove these types of programs.

  • Google search plugin redirects to https

I am increasingly frustrated with the search plugin Google search results redirecting to https.

I edited the xml file Google so that all instances of https were replaced by http, then deleted the search.json file, but my search results always redirected to https.

I deleted also cookies and temp files but the problem persists.

The reason bugs me so much is that my adblocker cannot filter https.

I don't know if it's a FF issue, or more likely, there Google doing the redirect, but a previous version of FF was fine once I edited the xml file.

For any help or suggestion would be cool.

You have probably chosen a redirect of a Rootkit or Malware Research, what causes this problem.

Install, update and run these programs in this order. They are listed in order of efficiency.
(Not all programs to detect malware, you may need to run them all to solve your problem.)
These programs are provided free for personal use, but some have limited functionality in "free" mode - but these are the features that you really need not to find and eliminate the problem you have.

Note: If your malware infection is bad enough and you're poorly led to URLS other than what is displayed, you may need to use another PC to download these programs and use a USB stick for transfer to the afflicted PC.

  • iPhone continues to redirect on mobile sites

Problem: whenever I try to connect to any Web site on my iphone, I think that only when the site is a mobile site, I am redirected to ads. It is both on safari and when I google sites and the FB app. I am not able to access the normal sites like Time.com, huffingtonpost, New York times. These aren't the sites I should avoid to go to.

Solutions: I don't know why, but what is happening to both my phone and my boyfriend. I have the iphone 5 c and there the 5s. It happened in the past, but never for long (it is now 10 days). I thought it was because the network has been hacked, but even if I use my 3G connection or another wireless continues. I tried to block sites that they continue not redirect to other who worked and now it takes me not for the appstore but now when I go to a site like time.com I get redirected once and he said: this Web page has been blocked (because I blocked). If I'm pretty fast sometimes I can hit the x when the site im going to partially responsible, but this is not the right solution. I tried to disable the javascript but only partially helped. When I go to sites that do not have a mobile site I don't have this problem.

    PLEASE HELP ME!

Try to install among the blockers contained much for Safari in the app store. They will avoid a lot of bad websites redirecting to other sites. I never have this issue myself. Will not block ads in applications such as Facebook, only what you see in Safari.

This isn't a problem with the iPhone, but with the Web sites you visit.
