Search mail finds only mails from last month

Suddenly my mail search is only to find mails from last month. The other mail that is in the Inbox however dose search not find it.

Suggestions of what is going wrong here. It used to work fine.

    Hi, using Oracle 11 g R2.

    The last day of every month of every year, I would like to query the data of a table in the last month. For example, if today is December 31, 2013, I would like to query only the records with a settlement_dt between the two (and including) 1 December 2012 and 31 December 2012. My process will run automatically at the end of each month, so I cannot hardcode the date values. I developed the following solution, but I was wondering if anyone had other ideas.

    The most effective way is

    IO.settlement_dt > = TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'MONTH')

    AND io_settlement_dt<  add_months="" (trunc="" (sysdate,="" 'month'),="">

    This will allow the optimizer to use an index on io.settlement_dt.  In addition, it involves only 3 function calls, regardless of the number of lines is in the table (in other words, no function should be called for each line).

  • CRNT FF: 1 of 5 emails lost all my messages on viewing but shows the amount of mails are there. Search can find them all, just will not appear in the Inbox

    1 of 5 email ACCOUNTS receive mail OK, but as soon as you leave this account and that you come back, nothing appears in the Inbox. The status bar shows however, that there are 32 emails it even if the Inbox is devoid of any text.

      Using Search, I can find ALL 32 emails by searching for a word in the subject field or the body fields. The mails ARE there!  They just do not display in the Inbox.

    Then... How the hell can I get the Inbox to display its content again?

    It worked until the day before yesterday when I read an e-mail from a reliable source and it automatically disappeared, along with all others in the Inbox. All other accounts are working very well.

       I tried creating a new email account but it wouldn't let me, giving me an error that the "incoming already exists".  No number or anything; it come when I click DONE in the creation process.  The new account will not write to the disk.

    I ran NOrton, AVG, MalWare Bytes, Windows Defender, Spybot AV and the other that I forgot the name of that time. ALL showed nothing found after each live scan success. I'm reasonable sure, I have no malicious software.

    Emails from this account are quite important, and I don't want to lose them if possible; they are for a Committee planning the 50th high-school reunion.

    Windows 7 HP, Dell XPS L702, 6 Gig of RAM, Intel i7 processor and lots of disk space. I've also compacted without change. The messages are all still there, but nothing shows in my Inbox; It is empty. I only see them using Find Messages from words I know are in them.

      Happy to provide any other info needed to evaluate this.  Oh, the account Sends OK too; it's a POP3 account setup.

    Any help would be most appreciated!

    Sorry, I should have to say that I use Firefox Thunderbird. To automatically download my emails to gmail, but it downloads only 2 or 3 when I did about 50 per day. I have to click again and again. It is on a desktop computer, laptop computer, in fact. My office works very well. Thanks for any help.

I'm a little unclear on your exact configuration; you have several accounts e-mail with the same provider, several accounts e-mail with several suppliers, access to one or more of the accounts of several devices, or a combination of the above? In general, the biggest difference between IMAP and POP is that IMAP leaves everything on the server for messaging (such as a message board), while POP download mail directly on your computer (more like the post office, which is where he gets his name: Post Office Protocol). This means that if you have two different devices set up to access the same email via POP account, they can only get some emails and Miss others, just as two different people, go get the mail of a real postal letter box.

    Some e-mail providers may allow POP accounts to leave mail on the server, but sometimes only for a limited time, after it was recovered initially. If you use multiple devices to access your account, you can use the IMAP protocol for all devices. If you want to keep using POP with several devices, then I recommend take a look at the support linked below for assistance article.

    Why I have problems with my email migration to Windows Mail? I get an error message stating my "mail from the host cannot be found. This has happened on and off for the last 2 weeks.     V-2011/2012: Menu button. Import Messages. Microsoft Outlook Express 6, and the point where it was saved.
     

    Location of OE message store:
     

    In OE: Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.
     

    In Windows XP the OE User (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.
     

    Note: If any DBX file is over 300 MB, return to OE and move some messages from the folder related to a new user created folder and compact down the size of the file.
     

    For addresses:
     

    Open the address book in OE and file | Export | Address book (wab) and save it to the desktop. Copy it to a flash drive. Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail.
     
    For WLMail 2009: Open list of Contacts in WLMail, (go |) Contacts in the Menu bar) and the file | Import | Address book (wab) Windows and the point where you saved it.
     
    WLMail 2011/2012: switch to the contacts window (click on the book icon to the address at the foot of the folders pane, or press Ctrl-3). Click on the import button, select address book (wab) Windows and point on where it was saved.
     

    Note: If you use a CD or a DVD instead of a flash drive, after placing on the new machine you must remove the read-only attribute in the properties before you import.
     

    For the account settings:
     

    In OE: Tools | Accounts, select the account and export it to the desktop. This will be an .iaf file. Copy it to the new desktop computer.
     
    For WLMail 2009: Tools | Accounts and import the settings from the location you saved the.
     
    For WLMail 2011: The Menu button. Options | E-mail accounts and import the settings from the location you saved the.
     

    Account settings do not matter in WLMail 2012. You will have to do it manually.

    I can't receive e-mail from addresses that are not already in my contacts list, for example the library.  My account has been hacked recently, and I have informed Windows CE.  I then installed Avast security.  Since only known e-mail senders spend their emails.  Help, please.

    It seems that Avast is blocking messages from anyone not in your contacts list (much too tight fixed).  Disable the function of checking email and see if that solves the problem.  If so, run it without the option of e-mail enabled - it does not really help as long as you take normal precautions (as not to open attachments from people you don't know / trust and things like that).  If you don't know how to disable this feature, contact technical support Avast (I do not use the product so I don't know how, but it's probably under Options or something like that).  If this does not work, try to go to Microsoft Security Essentialshttp://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Microsoft-Security-Essentials-Download-131683.html where I know that this problem is not happen and see if that solved the problem.

  • Unable to send mail from Yahoo mail Surface RT application

    For several weeks, the Soft Surface mail has posted a message saying that it is currently impossible to send e-mail on my Yahoo account.

    He receives mail from Yahoo.

    I could solve this problem.  I removed the Yahoo account since the mail app and then it added back as if it were new.  At least for the moment, which seems to have solved the problem and I can send by e-mail.  I'm still puzzled why it happened, but maybe I should be glad it is fixed with minimal effort.

    With respect to the application of mail, I love because it is bigger and clearer to read and use than using IE page.  Yes, IE works, but it's just a little small and so be more careful when clicking, etc.  More difficult to use the IE window without a mouse or a stylus. I normally use a mouse but occasionally led her to use the keyboard with no mouse on the screen and find my fingers are clumsy to hit the right spot.  The mail application is therefore easier in this regard.  But I agree IE works fine.
