  I am very new to scripting. I want to learn the basics like creating a table, creating anchored frames, frames of related texts, etc..

  Now, I want to create/search tables in a document, and I want to apply styles. I saw a script to do this. When I paste the Extendscript CS4 script, as the program crash.

  The crash of the program in part 1. When I create another script with only part 2 (see //part 2) then there is no problem.

  What I've done wrong? And can someone tell me what part 1 of the script do?

  Part 1 provides that the text cursor to be anywhere inside of a table - in ordinary text, either with a cell, row, column or all of the selected table.

  I have a signal that I admire from a PXI-5600 and store it in a table. What I want to do is to find the top of the signal (which I did successfully) and then calculate the bandwidth.

  What I do now, is to take the peak value and calculate 20 dB, so I use the "search of table 1 d' but I get index - 1. My guess is that this is happening because of this doesnat table contain EXACTLY the calculated value.

  Can I search somehow in the table for the values around one calculated?  For example; If I calculated the 10.08 value I want to search all between 9, 9 - 10.1.

  so I wonder how I can trace these points whith a line between them in my diet already spectrum

  I'm new to ADF. I have a requirement where I have to perform the update of mass on a table.

  Scenario:

  Ex: I have a search region manual dept. where I search with deptId: 20. I get 20 records in my table. now I have another area where I have an inputchoice list that contains all the column names that exist in the dept table. Beside that, I have a text box and a button update

  The user now, first research with dept id: 20 and click on the button Search, where it shows 20 record in the table. He then select an input choicelist(ex: ManagerId) column, then enter the new value in the decision-making box(ex: abc) then click on the button update.

  Now, I want to, all the records in the ManagerId column with dept id: 20 update with the new value 'abc '.

  Can someone help me with the code.

  If you go to your VO and generate the ViewObjectImpl, here you can create a method that contains two parameters, 1 the name attribute and 2 the value.

  Then you can follow something as explained in this post:

  The only difference is that you must create a method like this:

  I use Oracle Apex 4.1. I have two region

  1. search box

  2. in the form of a table

  In the search box, I have a LOV field where the user can select the value. Based on this LOV in the search box, tabular column f06 must disable or read-only.

  For example if I select THREE in LOV then only column f06 is expected on the other it must disable. How to get there.

  I have a table, in the first column is popup LOV.and second column key is text element.

  So my question is if we click contextual key lov and select employee name, then I want to show the email address of this employee in the second column of tabular presentation.

  This can be done with AJAX. Write a JavaScript function on the onchange event of popup LOV item (Employee) key and pass the number of the employee selected to your AJAX call, go get the employee email and assign it to your entry corresponding to the key LOV popup text has changed.

  As your dealing with Form (Wizard Based/APEX_ITEM Based-not specified) in a table, you take insofar as each column is the table of elements mapped to APEX_APPLICATION input. G_FXX tables and therefore to write JavaScript to locate the item to update.

  I have a table inline (two Table in screenshot) and at one point to change my styles para implemented at a glance for this doc he forced to leave the column.

  I often put tables in blocks of text and then separate spaces as anchored objects and could probably do again once here to correct but I was wondering what the cause in the first place.

  I think the problem is that you have a negative indent on the paragraph style assigned to the paragraph that contains the table. For some reason, the tables get indented when you do that - I've never really understood why. Anyway, take off the hanging indent and you'll be fine.

  I build the script which Jongware wrote in his post here http://indesignsecrets.com/tackling-tables-through-scripting.php - I am trying to create a variable in which I can add a number of different parts of the text, in this case it's different parts of the United Kingdom i.e. 'London', 'East', 'Scotland' etc. I just need the script to apply the cell Style - 'District Cell' - to any cell that contains text in the variable.   There is no good workaround solution.  The developer would have needed to implement a similar feature in their Flash application, or they would have needed to use StageText (which essentially exposes the native textfields), but it seems that they have neither.  The HTML TextField is certainly more robust and functional of the Flash, and honestly, HTML is probably a better choice of technology for what you describe.

  I need to set up tables (annual report) and some text between the two notes.

  I would like to have frames as little as possible on every page - for InCopy workflow later.

  If I paste the text of the regular column in the frames containing the tables anchored that I must apply the shift of different basis for each block of anchor text, text which is not a nice workflow.

  Can you recommend a skillful means and flexible to set this place that will make the tables and text boxes flows if more lines or more text are added?

  For this test I did it manually, but I have no reason to think that it would behave differently as part of a style. As far as I know, ID will attempt to balance the two columns automatically. If there is not enough text to divide into two columns it will not appear to divide but always see you any extra spacing and add just enough text to be wider than the column width of Courland and your line will have a gap in it for the gutter of the column.

  OK, I've just defined a style with the attribute of split, and Yes, it works in the same way. If you have a single paragraph, the paragraph is divided. If you have more than one, the block is divided, reading down by the first paragraph to the second (assuming that the linecounts work that way) in the first column before splitting into the second column. Paragraphs distributed individually. ID is to balance my columns automatically and will adjust the break if I edit, and if the number of rows is not divisible by 2 short column is on the right.

  Its a dynamic array. We had to access the column header.

  I've solved through hit and trial. If I change the bean has been prominently worn rather than extensive backup of bean, it works. I don't know what is the reason for this, but now it works.
