Secure logon Stream 8 HP

The 8 HP flow supports secure logon (Windows key + power)? Try to diagnose if it's a windows 10 problem mine is going to sleep if I try to use it.

The part made tablet of a domain as rrequires it.

Since posting this I bought a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and I can confirm the desired function is Ctrl-Alt-Del on a keyboard that does not flow 8.

    Hi Stuckfree,

    Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.

    From your description, I understand that you want to know why the keys Ctrl + Alt + Delete is considered a secure method.

    1 if your computer is part of a domain, the domain-wide policies may have been set that override settings that you apply on the local computer.

    2 disable the CTRL + ALT + DELETE sequence creates a "security breach." The CTRL + ALT + DELETE sequence can be read by Windows, ensures that the information in the logon dialog box that follows can be read by Windows. This can prevent programs unauthorized access to the computer.

    3. the MS-DOS-based computers (and some older UNIX-based systems), by pressing CTRL + ALT + DELETE wins the attention of the BIOS, causing a reboot of 'hot'. You can use the keyboard to shut down the operating system. On Windows computers (start with Microsoft Windows NT), the CTRL + ALT + DELETE sequence is intercepted by Windows. The advantage of the typing technique initially is to help prevent Windows is stopped by someone who doesn't have access to.

  • Event Viewer: shows security logon access that never happened

  • Problem of user family security logon

    I created a Windows Live account for my daughter to use, jumped into approval and added a little hoops portable Windows 8, I want it to use to do their homework. It is configured as a standard user with parental control (not at a level that is very restrictive, but turn off web filtering).

    When I connect with her account that I show a new background image I'm not familiar with the time and date displayed prominently at the bottom left and icons for battery status and wireless signal. This view is not functional; any button or by scanning returns the computer to the user selection screen.

    I don't know if we qualify this as being unable to connect or be unable to do anything, but the newspaper off once logged.

    Locally disable parental controls for the account changes nothing. Unfortunately the most obvious next step of troubleshooting (revenant Family Safety side Windows Live web) doesn't seem to be possible, now that I have validated his account as belonging to a child.

    It is not all events that appear to be suspicious in the newspapers.

    What is going on?

    Solved; It turns out that it was actually a question of bloatware.

    After receiving the mobile Gateway, the first thing I did was uninstall all the bloatware that I wasn't interested, which included Soluto.

    The process of uninstalling-Soluto left hook broke for himself in the Userinit registry (naughty Soluto) key that caused any user other than the administrator who did the uninstall to jump and leave immediately during the connection process. Fixed the Userinit key and everything is now fine.

    Check the drive run at Windows startup?

    Thank you for details on the issue.

    This message is displayed because the specified file has an invalid security ID. Each file on a NTFS or FAT volume has security what ID assigned. The ID assigned to the data file does not match the ID assigned to the security data stream file ($SDS). There is a mismatch of Ids. CHKDSK replaced the invalid security ID.

  • MAC security password log in blocking the installation of the Adobe software

    My MAC does not allow me to install CS6. After that I downloaded the CS apps I get a pop up asking me my computer connection password box.  I enter password my computer journal, the box disappears for three seconds, then it pops up again asking me to return my password to connect you.  He is caught in a sort of loop where I can not install any Adobe software. I keep getting security logon password request allowing the installation. Anyone know what could be the problem and the solution?

  • Problems with Akamai streams

    Hello!

    I'm new to OSMF, and I love it. However, I can't the Akamai streams to work properly.

    If I understood it, OSMF is expected to play the Akamai streams even without any plug-ins ( http://forums.adobe.com/message/2636240#2636240 )

    My Player reads the 'normal' streams and progressive downloads very well, but if I try a stream of Akamai, I'm first of all the MediaStateChangeEvent with 'ready', then a MediaStateChangeEvent with "playbackError". After that, I get a MediaError with error code 16 (stream was found)

    I'm trying to connect just like I do for all other watercourses:

    var resource: URLResource = new URLResource (streamURL);
    var mediaElement:MediaElement = _mediaFactory.createMediaElement (resource);

    _mediaContainer.addMediaElement (MediaElement);
    _mediaPlayer.Media = mediaElement;

    As I said, it works fine with normal flow (so my drive works) and the same Akamai stream play fine in other players (for example, the Akamai test drive) so the stream URL is also very good.

    Help, please

    Another question about plugins - if I need to read secure Akamai streams, then I still would need the plugin, right? And for dynamic streaming, I still need the SMIL plugin?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    For mp4 streams, you need to add the prefix like this:

    RTMP://cp78634.edgefcs.NET/OnDemand/mp4:mediapmsec/osmf/content/test/SpaceAloneHD_sounas_640_700.mp4

    For .flv files, you will need to remove the extension.  The support player does these things for you, that's why your stream is playing great.  We do not believe a plugin or a framework should be change URL, so this must happen at the level of the player.

    Thank you

  • Key failure__Strike F1 to continue, F2 to run

    Hello and thank you, in advance, for taking the time to read and answer my question.                       I have a Dell Dimension 4300 XP Pro/SP3 and installed a new MICROSOFT Comfort Curve keyboard 2000. According to the information on the different styles of keyboards, it states that it is compatible with my system. The software, for the Comfort Curve 2000 keyboard, has been downloaded from the MICROSOFT Web site I was instructed to do. Since the end of the installation, I get an error message, "Keyboard failure-strike the F1 to continue, F2 to run the Setup utility", whenever the computer starts or is restarted. The F1 or F2 activate orders that the message indicates. In order to use the computer after HAVING supported initially on the power on button, I have to press the power button / power off, wait one or two seconds, then press the new button. Only then my security logon page will appear and I can resume using the computer without problems to keyboard or errors. This procedure must be repeated for each re-start and restart. Each re - start, or restart the computer will beep twice and this error message is displayed. I am at my wits end having to turn the computer on/off/under voltage and not sure that it is good for the health of my computer. I read that one suggestion is to unplug, then re - plug the USB connector that connects the keyboard to the rear of the back of the computer and that the appeal has not helped. I went in the "Device Manager" and it says that the keyboard does not work properly.  I can answer any questions if necessary, and follow the instructions step by step. Otherwise, my knowledge of computers is limited to use only.                                              Thank you, again, for ANY help by anyone who is willing to address my problem. sherudi

    This seems to be a matter of Dell, if you visit the Dell support forums you will find many pages on this "failed error keyboard - press F1 to continue, F2 to run the Setup utility Strike" I guess its caused by some utility Dell auto starts when you turn on.

    The problem occurs if you start in safe mode?

  • Unlock windows box disappears after windows automatically locks the screen

    Hello

    I have a professional Windows XP Tablet from Lenovo X 200 ongoing execution machine. This problem does not occur * too * often, but enough to be annoying.

    After 15 minutes of inactiviy, windows is the standard screen saver routine by locking the desktop computer. Meanwhile, the white box that says click on Ctrl-alt-del to enter your password is visible. There is also the virtual keyboard on the screen.

    From time to time, I go back to my computer to see that white box unlock is missing! There is no way for me to go back to windows! I have literally remove the battery and restart. During this time, I lost all my unsaved data... not to mention that I keep not the most graceful way.

    This happened to someone? What in the world could be the cause?

    Thanks for the comments.

    Hi Jim_B_NJ,

    1. you have value to request password on Resume on the computer?

    I suggest that scan you SFC on the computer that would be a system file corrupt on the computer search and replace.

    The analysis may take some time, so be patient. Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows XP installation CD.

  • Is there only a list of what CHKDSK output is average?

    I ran CHKDSK on drive C one of my computers.

    I received the following notifications I don't understand

    -large file 967 records processed

    -2 EA records processed

    -76 analysis of cases

    -Compacting the security descriptor stream

    That make those average message?

    Here is an article from Microsoft on CHKDSK and the various commands and an example of the messages it produces - but it does not explain the messages: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/chkdsk.mspx?mfr=true.

    I found that the following posted on another web site:

    "If chkdsk runs at startup time or the recovery console, it creates the file c:\bootex.log." However you will see this file if boot chkdsk is interrupted or you are using the recovery console. When Windows starts then it copies any c:\bootex.log an entry in the * Application event log *, helpfully titled "WINLOGON". The Bootex.log file is then deleted. To find errors in the areas allocated to the files, the message gives you an "offset", which I consider to be bad disk sector but he said not in bytes, sectors or what, and it tells you the affected file. To find errors in non-affected areas, it tells you nothing (except there was one). "There is also a hexadecimal data block associated with it but no information available to interpret it." so, if you check the event log (start / Control Panel / administrative tools / Event Log) you can find out more information on what chkdsk discovered.  You could also try to find the journal itself in the directory root, just in case they're wrong and there is no here.

    Here is an article which explains, among other things, CHKDSK doing in each different phases - and the results of each step in an output to the screen about what he sees and what he has http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314835/EN-US/#/.  Yet, it does not explain the true meaning of output messages but I reveal a lot about the process itself.

    Unfortunately, after more than an hour searching Bing, Google and the Microsoft Knowledge Base, I was unable to find anything tht explains the results of the chkdsk output other than the newspaper ad entry explained above event viewer.  I don't think this information is available outside Microsoft - and apparently they are not out there.

    Sorry I couldn't give you what you wanted, but it's the best I could come up with, and I hope it helps.

    Good luck!
