  I use Digital Media Designer to create content for our local office and remote sites. I'm interested in video game in the remote offices. Is it possible to point to the remote DPM DMD to read video files stored locally on this DMP? I know that I can set up a remote site streaming media server to play the video from, but it would be nice to be able to point to the DMP at the remote site and read the files stored locally instead of streaming over the Wan.

  Hello Luke,.

  For the configuration you describe, the best approach would use the DMS content distribution mechanism.

  With this feature, the DMM will push video content on discs the in the DMP and then teach them to read this content stored locally.

  I develop a swf in Flash Builder 4.7 to run in the FlashPlayer_sa.exe (11.5). Inside this application, I load another swf in the same folder and inside of it, I load a video from a subfolder.

  To have an effect of paging on my content, I use a copy of the bitmap of the original content. When I have my videos attatched I can do my copy bitmap (copypixels) of the content item and video inside. Now, the "funny" is when I put the video on null stream I get this violation sandboy error:

  I also add my project folder to the trusted locations in settings global flah. It seems that the verification of the securety has a problem with a stream of the null value and acts like it is from a different domain. A way around this?

  Flash is probably looking for a null file.

  Try to re-create the hosts file.

  Open Notepad as administrator (click right on the Notepad icon or shortcut and click Run as admin) and type the following information in it:

  127.0.0.1 localhost

  : 1 localhost

  The '1' in the '127.0.0.1' must be in the first column of the line and there must be at least one space between "127.0.0.1" and "localhost". In the second line, there must be at least one space between ": 1" and "localhost".

  Save the file with name "hosts" in the C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc folder.

  You seem to have a hard drive problem. Please provide a copy of your system information file. Type the system information in the search box above the Start button and press the ENTER key (alternative is select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, system information). Select file, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located. Not to place the cursor in the body of the report before exporting the file. The system creates a new information file system each time system information is available. You must allow a minute or two before the file is completely filled before exporting a copy.   iCloud is a synchronization system, not a storage system. If you delete photos/videos on your iPad, they are removed to iCloud. To increase the available space, go settings/iCloud/Photos and select optimize iPhone/iPad storage.

  (1) were there any changes to the computer prior to this problem?
  (2) version of Windows do you use?
  (3) have you tried to connect the external hard drive on another computer?
  (4) is the issue limited only with this file or with each of them?
  (5) have tried to move the files to the external hard drive?
   
  Try to do a Chkdsk Scan. The scan will look bad system files and will attempt to fix them, if possible.
  (a) click the Start button.
  (b) type cmd in search results.
  (c) click the cmd file and select "Run as Administrator".
  (d) in the CMD window, type chkdsk /f /r and press the Enter key.
  For example, f:\chkdsk/f/r, f: here being the external hard drive.
   
  Important: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.
  Note: Chkdsk /f /r enables chkdsk check the volume for errors bad sectors on the physical disk and file system. Chkdsk /f /r schedules itself to run at the next system reboot, by adding an entry in the BootExecute value.
