  I am new to the administration of BESXpress and I was wondering if in BESX, or on the unit (model 9000) itself, there was a way to check/adjust the synchronization between the device and the Exchange interval?

  The reason I ask this is that I have problems with calendar appointments sync with the device, when are appointed in outlook/exchange. If the appointment is made on the device itself, it appears in return ok.

  I have remove the CICAL according to another Board, and it seemed to work for a bit, but now does not seem to work again...

  I would like to have management Persona to respect version of profile settings in Windows.

  I enabled through the registry of Windows, versions of profile but Persona management always uses the suffix V2. Is there a way of automatically manages this or should I create two different GPO for windows 7 and windows 8.1 where I specify two different paths?

• Sync blackBerry Z30 Z30 after restore email problem

  After doing a restore on the phone I initially could not e-mail to work (validation error), so I deleted the accounts and add them. In the two accounts now emails do not go back until the end. I searched looking for a full resynchronization or a maximum size for email of accounts setting but cannot find anything. Is there some setting I missed that cause e-mail accounts only to return in may or June?

  After reading your response, I found a "Calendar synchronization" setting for my .outlook account and that seems to work. But on my .startmail account there seems not to be a setting for it. I think it's an IMAP account. Can you tell me if there is a 'synchronization period' somewhere for an IMAP account? I see only a "synchronization interval. '

• Is there a way to get the synchronization (in sync now) on Firefox Android?

  I logged on Firefox Sync on my desk and two mobile devices and everything seems ok, except that on mobile devices synchronization that happens to intervals rather long. I have the button "sync" in the toolbar of my office; is there something similar for mobile phones in the current version? I don't see any way to force or induce a synchronization, and it seems cumbersome having to wait up to an hour (it's the longest synchronization interval, I witnessed) in order to access a list of the tabs I opened on my desk.

  Here's what I'd do.

  First of all, check the settings on the device. Go to the hub, tap the icon of three points down right, select settings, select display and Actions and look at the setting for delete on. Make sure that it is set to Hub and the server.

  In addition, to return to the settings, select accounts, then Yahoo. Tap the pencil down to the Center. Scroll down and look at the synchronization interval. If it is set to manual, you can change it to something like an hour, or anything that is reasonable for you.

  Then do tests. When you delete an email on the device, tap the lower right three icons and select Refresh. Then log in on Yahoo email on a computer with a desktop browser. If you have only the device, connect to Yahoo email on Yahoo mobile site using the BlackBerry browser. I recommend only using a desktop browser for ease of use for this task.

  When you use a browser to access Yahoo mail, check the box of reception and deleted folder items to see where the email. If all goes well, of course, can be found in the deleted folder.

  If the deleted email is still in the Inbox, wait a few moments and refresh the browser to see if the email has been moved to the deleted items folder. Wait for the duration of the synchronization interval setting and a little more.

  You have access to the BES. Looks like the [SYNC] maintenance of office address is missing or damaged. If you have access to the BES you can send service directories to devices of the person to see if that fixes the problem.

  If you do not have access to the BES check the following on the BlackBerry. From the device, you can see if the user has the present desktop [SYNC] service book. If they do, try to delete this book and regenerate the encryption key. Then see if the SYNC book returns. If this is not the case, go back to the screen Service Book and do a restore.
