Hello
In the table above, I need to select data based on the State, a status which precedes CLOSE or ACCEPTED it should display all status any State which is after CLOSE or ACCEPTED, we do not consider.
In the scenioro above, it should display only the status of first three. After having ACCEPTED, it should not display something
Please suggest me a request how to write.

exclude data based on the position
Hi all
I use oracle 10g.
We have a requirement where I need to exclude the data based on the 1st character of a column value.
A table has a column that contains the varchar value.
The condition is to exclude all rows where the column begins with an alphabet.
Example;
Now I want to select only rows with cust_id = 1234 and 4325 as these 2 is not first character as alphabet.customer table: cust_id cust_name cust_age A123 JOHN 28 1234 NASH 43 B345 DEAN 32 4325 SHAUN 21
There are thousands of row in the table.
One way is to write all the alphabets as:
But I'm sure there is a better way to do maybe a function that can list all the alphabet or something.SELECT * FROM CUSTOMERS WHERE SUBSTR(CUST_ID,1,1) NOT IN ('A','B','C','D',..............'Z');

Extract data based on the year and month
My clients have taken a field TimeStamp DB Oracle and downloaded the access in a TEXT field format.
Samples: 20060401001348CS
Everything I'm doing is extracted from the data based on the year and the month. I equal to 200604 *, 200604%. Have also tried to use AS.
Nothing works. It may just be that dificult. Help, please. Thank youMike

If you need to change the query to get the format to the xsd format: YYYY-MM-ddTHH + hh: mmotherwise, you need to write a custom sort function to decode and order it.

How to I raise an event based on the State of a button?
I'm trying to trigger an event based on the State ON / OFF button. When I click on the button, I want the structure of the event in a loop to trigger each iteration until the button goes back to the OFF position, manually or programmatically. Is there an easy way to do this?

Hide a line based on the State.
Hello, I have a requirement where I have to hide a line based on the State. I am able to highlight the lines but hide the entire line does not work.
Condition must be met on a line:
- Thus, if a sum of EXP5_11, EXP6_11, EXP7_11 and EXP8_11 in a current group is all zeros hide this line. Please refer to the RTF-model.

Select records based on the monthly anniversary date

I have a table with a field of date_added and I want to select records from monthly birthday of this field.
for example. ID, Date_added
1, DECEMBER 10, 2012
2, 11 NOVEMBER 2012
3, 10 MARCH 2012
4, FEBRUARY 28, 2012
5, 30 DECEMBER 2012
So for January 10, 2013, I would like to return the documents 1 and 3 only
I started watching the extract function, but this little falls down to the records at the end of the month. For example, on 28 February, I also include records where 29, 30 or 31 is the day of date_added. So, in the above table, I won't return documents 4 and 5, but retrieves only returns 4.
Is there a simple function to make the request of birthday this month - have I missed something very obvious? Or I have to write a query to explicitly dates at the end of the month? So far I have not found a reasonable solution!

so, we can assume that your needs are:
If the day is the last day of that month, interview the day of the other months being > = day of the current month.
That is to say:
Jan-30 = query only 30 other months
Jan-31 = query only 31 of the other monthsFeb-28 (non-leap years) = question 28, 29, 30 and 31 other months
29 February (leap year) = query 29,30,31 to other monthsMar-30 = query only 30 other months

I have a question about account using OBIEE agent.
If I run an agent today to deliver A report, can I me A report based on the date of last Monday or any dynamic dates?
For example, say is today, December 18, 2013, and my agent is run according to how I put the calendar. Now the content of the delivery report one being delivered. Now A report has a date column, normally this column is filtered by the current date. But if it comes through the agents to different users, the data should be the previous Monday, so in this case, 9 December 2013. When this agent is run once again, declared December 27, 2013, then the report must be filtered by December 16, 2013, which is the previous Monday 27 dec.
Something like this is possible in OBIEE 11 G?

If value = 1 then (subtotal of manufacturing) and sorting by Date of receipt, organization, production, item Code
If value = 2, then (subtotal per organization) and sort by organization, serial number
