  It does not matter what I change the value of topic: config for plugins.click_to_play, they will always be autoplay. I honestly don't know how long it has been like that, I just noticed that flash junk base was automatic reading and I tried to enable the setting.

  The pref plugins.click_to_play control only if you can see a selection from 'Ask to activate' for plugins on Firefox/tools > Modules > Plugins page.
  You should always choose this setting for each of the plugins.

  Hello Funny78, type Subject: addons in the address bar and then select plugins, add-ons manager opens and you can see the last version of the plugins (and other info), now click on the click to see if your plugins are up to date and see if it is.

  If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

  I use FF24 and option plugins.click_to_play = true, also within the parameters of the Plugins, I put all the plugins (currently flash only) to always ask.
  When I visit a site with Flash, the similar logo icon appears in the address bar. The problem is, it's sometimes blue, sometimes grey. I can't see a pattern in its coloration in this sites that could be blue-gray. It seems that it is blue on other sites, as gray. It's confusing me.

  • Gray, when there is a visible place to activate a plugin through click-to-play in the content of a Web page or once plugins are already activated
  • Blue, if there are hidden elements plugin on the page which can be operated via the icon in the address bar
  • Red, when there is any outdated plugins or vulnerable assets on a page

  On the first page (i.e. first image above) a notification would usually appear at the left end of the location (address) bar asking permission to activate. If it is not visible, you can try clicking on it to get it out. If the problem persists, please also check if this happens in a new profile.

  I used version 1.11 of JQuery for a multiple selection plugin, just another developer found and displayed to users who have of course they liked but wasn't really for this version of the APEX.

  For modal page has been more important for this page, the plugin fields existing multi-selection where past slot Standard multiple selection and the reference to the version 1.11 of JQuery plug-in has been removed and the modal Page works perfectly.

  There is a debate on the upgrade of our APEX to 4.2.5 so when it happens, we all hope this JQuery version issues will be resolved.
