Select single dataset in several sets of data based on the priority column
Excuse me if a similar question has been answered before. I don't seem to find the correct search terms to find the solution.On the question - I have the following data:

As you can see, not all companies contain the same elements. I would need to get a list that contains each itemid only once, and element name (and other non-visible areas in the example) the first company in which the item is found. CompanyID 1, 3 and finally 2 would be a priority. Thus, the example above would result in the following list:+---ItemID---+---ItemName----------------------+---CompanyID---+

This is called a Query Top - N , and this is a way to do it:

WHEN 3 THEN 2

The tricky part here is to get an expression that will sort the CompanIDs in the order where you want them (3 comes before 2). If this order applies to other queries outside of it, then you really shouldn't hardcode into any question. Instead, add a column to the table of society (or create a society, if you do not already have a), which indicates the sort order and join to that table.
The overall functionality of DUNGEON (DENSE_RANK...) could also be used to achieve these results, but you mentioned that there are "other fields not visible in the example", which means that you would probably use a phrase quite complicated for each of them. The above query is easily extended. Add any columns you want both SELECT clauses.

DataGrid: data based on the datagrid column headers
I have a datagrid I want to fill the headers of datagridcolumn with specific data during execution.
I'm going through the array of data objects and the creation of each column, but I still need to figure out how to set the header for each of them. I tried to set the itemRenderer for the column of a component simple lable, but then I don't know how to set the text of this label on the name to say correct datadriven of objects field.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
RubenI figured this out. Essentially before defining the its you get your component and wrap around a ClassFactory object and then set the property that you want to appear in the header. You can do this in a loop and change the header you go. Here's some code that could go in a loop:

How to filter through a set of data based on user input
Hi all
I'm trying to filter through a set of data, purchase only the files that meet the requirements of users.
I ask the user to enter three different values, one for a frequency to start another for a frequency of end and also the value of the rated power.
The way I am filtering from now thanks to this data set is using a function called the regular expression function as well as the analysis of string function to break up the name of file and data digital take-away, then compare these data on the entries of users.
These values that meet the conditional statement will be sent to a ring of results for a user to go through.
For now, I filled it is not as much functionality in this method, the user must be very careful in the way which he or she saves files and my program may work correctly.
I am ataching a photo of this part of the program.

I have a colleague who, like you, encodes the parameters of the study of the (very long) string of the name of the file. I always shout at him about it, because it requires him (because you are considering do) build routines for (a) analyzes the names (to retrieve the information hidden in them), (b) to organize the data in a form of "LabVIEW Database" and then (c) figure out how (in LabVIEW) for write "queries" on this database. More file names are not particularly easy for a human to read, are extremely long and invite more mischief (have you thought about putting your files in folders which are similarly 'file-information-coded'? Becomes even more messy more fast).
You might think Oh, "it's too late to make a change, I have already all of these data", but what good is it if you can't analyze easily, group them, sort, etc. ?

exclude data based on the position
Hi all
I use oracle 10g.
We have a requirement where I need to exclude the data based on the 1st character of a column value.
A table has a column that contains the varchar value.
The condition is to exclude all rows where the column begins with an alphabet.
Example;
Now I want to select only rows with cust_id = 1234 and 4325 as these 2 is not first character as alphabet.customer table: cust_id cust_name cust_age A123 JOHN 28 1234 NASH 43 B345 DEAN 32 4325 SHAUN 21
There are thousands of row in the table.
One way is to write all the alphabets as:

Extract data based on the year and month
My clients have taken a field TimeStamp DB Oracle and downloaded the access in a TEXT field format.
Samples: 20060401001348CS
Everything I'm doing is extracted from the data based on the year and the month. I equal to 200604 *, 200604%. Have also tried to use AS.
Nothing works. It may just be that dificult. Help, please. Thank youMike

If you need to change the query to get the format to the xsd format: YYYY-MM-ddTHH + hh: mmotherwise, you need to write a custom sort function to decode and order it.

Hello! I am a newbie in scripting Illustrator and I would create a set of labels that are data-driven. The labels must be printed 16 photos per sheet. I got the XML file to work and Illustrator is able to pick up data however it only allows me to change the first label of who. AI.
What should I do to be able to print 16 different sets of data labels per sheet?

Placing several sets of data on a graph (LabVIEW for Excel)
I read in a 2D array (first rank values of the x axis, 2 values for the value axis in line, 30 columns) of a number of excel files. With each iteration of my loop for example, I read in 1 all of these 2D table data, and I'm tracing the curve (using Excel Insert graphic) before I close this file and move to the following.
I want, however, must be able to generate 1 chart at the end with all sets of data together. So far, whenever I'm iterating, new data erased the old, and in the end I only get 1 set of data (the last game) on the 1 graph.
I searched through the Forum similar topics, but 1) I have all my data read or typed into a nice big table, they come in the iterations instead, 2) my data values do not share the same values for the x axis, while the beach is almost the same (from 0 to 1) and the number of data points is always 30 (3) I don't think I can use shift registers because all my data is obtained in my loop, when I open Excel (also in the loop) files and read them, so I did not 'Original data' to initialize the shift register.
Any suggestions on how I was able to read the data, graphics, read the new data, then graph on the same graph without losing my old data?

You may need to force your data to have the same category axis.
Another option would be to insert data in excel instead of a graph. From within excel you could have a set graph in place who knows where the X values and are there for each data set and it will draw it automatically.
You can also try messing around with the Graph.vi of update to Excel.
I had limited success with the Excel update Graph.vi, but worth a visit.

I have the data control for the web service, that records the values entered into the form. I created the entry form using the data control (DC1).
There is an input field [T1], on the tab, I need to fill an another text field, for which the data is returned to an another web service (DC2) data control.
For the same input text [T1] on the tab out, I need fill in the object list in the component selectonechoice, for which the data is returned to an another web service (DC3) data control.
Is it possible to use bind several data controls on the same page to reach the use case?
However, I want to avoid the use of managed bean. Is it possible to do this?

How to plan the report filtered by dynamic date based on the date, the Agent is running

I have a question about account using OBIEE agent.
If I run an agent today to deliver A report, can I me A report based on the date of last Monday or any dynamic dates?
For example, say is today, December 18, 2013, and my agent is run according to how I put the calendar. Now the content of the delivery report one being delivered. Now A report has a date column, normally this column is filtered by the current date. But if it comes through the agents to different users, the data should be the previous Monday, so in this case, 9 December 2013. When this agent is run once again, declared December 27, 2013, then the report must be filtered by December 16, 2013, which is the previous Monday 27 dec.
Something like this is possible in OBIEE 11 G?
