Selection of Clip below the playhead without the mouse

Is there a way to Select a clip on the timeline under the read head without the mouse and using a shortcut instead?

There is a shortcut for "mark clip" and a shortcut to "extract". Why not do it instead?

  • limit for video clips following the mouse

    Here's my ACE...

    myInterval = setInterval(KBMOglobal,15);

    function KBMOglobal () {}
    KBMOglobal1._x = (KBMOglobal1._x - _xmouse) / 10;
    KBMOglobal1._y = (KBMOglobal1._y - _ymouse) / 10-2;
    }

    OK, so my video clip follows the mouse around, with a slight delay and the y axis is slightly lowered. the scene of my film is 380 x 640. someone has suggestions on how to create a border, equal to the size of my stage, which leaves no film clips that follow the mouse to extend to the beyond? Does still make sense? Basically, I'd like to as video clips to follow the mouse, the stay of entire film visible on the scene clip. due to the positioning of elements on the stage which initiates this function, I must only consider the width of each clip, which fortunately is a constant = 200. Does this make any sense? Let me try this one more time...

    How to set the above function for the clip, KBMOglobal1 (which has a width of 200) remain in the horizontal limits of the scene (which is 380)?

    Thank you for your time and all members of this forum who was very helpful with all my questions in this project so far, yall rock!

    It's almost works perfectly, however I need to adjust the limit of axis x. for some reason, the video stops after the mouse when it comes to halfway on scene, horizontally.

    could you please be so kind as to explain what your script is doing? because I'm not a fool, I realize that I could probably replace 380 to 760 (double the width of the scene) and it works as expected. However, if you could spare the time to explain what the following two lines do, step by step... I'll give you my first born...

    KBMOglobalGeneralCancelDispatch._x<0?KBMOglobalGeneralCancelDispatch._x=0:KBMOglobalGenera>
    KBMOglobalGeneralCancelDispatch._x > 380 - KBMOglobalGeneralCancelDispatch._width? KBMOglobalG eneralCancelDispatch._x = 380 - KBMOglobalGeneralCancelDispatch._width:KBMOglobalGeneralCancel Dispatch._x;

    Thanks again for your time!

    do you know? : operator? It's as if... else... statements,

    When we say:

    somethingIsTrue? do1(): do2();

    This is exactly the same direction as:

    If {(somethingIsTrue)
    do1();
    } else {}
    DO2();
    }

    Now, we look at this line:

    KBMOglobalGeneralCancelDispatch._x<0? kbmoglobalgeneralcanceldispatch._x="0:">

    It is same as

    If (KBMOglobalGeneralCancelDispatch._x<0)>
    KBMOglobalGeneralCancelDispatch._x = 0
    } else {}
    KBMOglobalGeneralCancelDispatch._x
    }

  • Selection of clips on the timeline, all with the same name?

    Hi all

    is there a way to select multiple clips on a timeline with the same prefix name from all at once; for can then drag them all to his own video track to isolate? They have no name of timecode or roll on them, the clips are all individual files in the finder, but starting all per C1 in the name. Basically, there are more than 100 of them on the timeline and would be almost impossible to do properly and not miss anything, not to mention difficult to select them one by one.

    Thank you

  • Cannot select multiple clips on the timeline at the same time...?

    Hello

    I have a new MacBook Pro running OS X 10.10. I'm running the first Pro V. 8.1

    When I click on a clip on the timeline, and then press SHIFT and click on something else in the meantime program to select all the clips in the meantime... it doesn't.

    Known issue? I am ex-FCP7 and I want to really make my go-to new Premier Pro, but not be able to select several clips is problematic.

    See you soon

    MD

    I think it's just how it works, not sure of any option to change it. It discusses the shift as ctrl/cmd, very strange.  You can use the mouse to drag a box on the clamps. There are also track select Tools from the toolbar.

  • How to make a clip with the mouse

    How do rotate you a clip so it always faces the mouse?

    Try something like this:

  • EN: Selection/direct manipulation of clips in the program monitor

    If you accept this workflow improved, please add your own voice here www.adobe.com/go/wish.

    Improvement / FMR. *

    Short title of your desired function: direct selection of clips in the program for the change monitor

    How would you like the feature works?

    We should be able to directly monitor select a clip/active in moving/resizing/rotation program.  Even better would be the ability to SHIFT-click-select 2 or more items to move/scale/rotate them in tandem.

    Why is this feature important for you?

    The current workflow is convoluted/intuitive because it forces users to: 1) select a single element of amendment under the ICT in the scenario, 2) click on 'Motion' in the effect control window. (3) make the changes of the Motion to the ECW and/or the program monitor. (4) repeat steps 1 to 3 for all clips/additional titles in the program monitor that had to be changed in tandem.

    Although this feature request may require implementation of the 2 step, first of all, allowing direct selection of a single item and later allowing manipulation of selection/movement of 2 or more items at the same time, allowing one to select it directly in the monitor of the program for now would be a major step forward by finally allowing to change the attributes of the Motion 2 or several seeds at the same time.

    NOTE: For live clip selection work efficiently, including "selectable" of securities would need to be automatically limited to the dimensions of the text itself and not by default to the dimensions of the video settings as is currently the case, because otherwise, it would be impossible to directly select a clip in a title to equal video dimensions.

    2) click 'Motion' in the effect control window.

    Top tether can be selected by double clicking in the MP.

    If the undelaying clip is visuable and falling outside the bounding box of the element to overprint (in pips) you can double-click this also in the MP to get the rectangle encompassing.

  • Chronology/output the value current clip under the read head

    Previously, I was able to establish the timeline in and out points by pressing 'x', and the timeline would have put points of entry/exit to the item that is currently under the playback cursor. This seems to have disappeared or changed in 2015.3. Any ideas on how to bring him back? I couldn't find the shortcut for it, but I'm not as positive as I was looking in the right place for it.

    Clip of the brand always is 'x '.

    Check your keyboard shortcuts?

    Curiously, press the 'x' mark to any clip the playhead is positioned on, regardless of the tilted status of selection follows read head, rather than which allows you to select a clip on the timeline and marks the entry/exit without moving the playhead - at least on my system.

  • Connect many clips with the same information for a particular column

    I have 1000's of clips to open a session before I begin to change it, to share many common info such as day clips # or the name of the sponsor, location, etc.

    What would be the procedure and is there an easy way to select many clips and choose or enter information such as the date or location, etc. and have all selected clips connect this info. FCP had a very simple way to do this and would actually keep or mount the database that you enter and makes it really easy to connect many clips at once.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    You can select multiple clips in the tray at the same time.  When you go in the metadata Panel, the fields that can be entered massively will be available.

  • Cannot select an asset in the program window

    I have two problems.

    1. to select an object below the top layer in the window of the Pr program, I have to drag the top layer away to reach the layer in quesiton. This can be a pain when you have four layers and rearrange the position of the layers after working on the planned layer. Is there not a way (as if I was able to do in the Priemere Elements 8) click on the window and get a menu of layers to choose between?

    2. now, I have a bug happening on this issue. I try to get one of these lower levels and I can't select the top layer at all. The mouse works normally in all other windows, but I get no response when I click in the program window.

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Click on the layer of the timeline to select 2.

    Go for effects control and click on the word Motion.

    Motion is now highlighted

    The bounding box of your layer 2 is visible in the monitor of the program ready to be manipulated.

  • Selection of clip using not together audio and video, unrelated acts

    Something happened with my editor settings and I can't know what I did or how to fix it.

    using first Pro CC 2014.0.1.

    Whatever the project, when I select a clip in the timeline and try to move it, it only moves the audio or video (if I clicked it) (if that's what I clicked on) and abandon the linked audio file corresponding (or video). Almost as if you would normally select a clip to isolate the video audio using the Alt/Option (Mac) key. The audio and the video ARE LINKED and thus show in a pop-up, this isn't that video and audio are somehow regarded as irreversible first. It is just this way when I select an item.

    I must have changed something because he has never done this before and just started doing it. Must have hit a key combination to turn on or off certain settings, but I can't. I need to go back and select at the same time.

    Any suggestions? Thank you.

    This button-

    Causing the behavior that you comment on.  It is a toggle that allows to move a part of a related assets without moving the rest.
