  You can not save or convert a regular image as a type RAW or DNG file.

  I have a button "save under" in my front panel and when I press this button a dialogue apears asking me a path for savaing a file in a format "xls". In this case every time I press the button "save under" I have to type the file name extension ".xls" as well as the file name.

  I'm changing the default program used to file for Server 2008R2 extensions for safety.  Once the changes are in place they returned to OEM extensions.  Does anyone know of the registry key change that is necessary?  I did a lot of research around with no luck.  Thank you for your time.

  1. right click on the file, select "open with...". »

  I have never been able to set up Windows Mail by following the instructions of windows that I don't understand.

  More often than otherwise due to application restrictions, we are forced to use the same DB_NAME for many databases. At least 45 years old and most of them have the same DB_NAME running on different machines with different host name...
  
  Whenever we add a new target after the installation of the agent on the new target computer, we see the Grid control to identify the database DB_NAME. Since we often have the same value for DB_NAME to the database, we may first remove the target identified by GRID after agent installation. Later, we manually add the target as HOSTNAME_DB_NAME and so we are identified separately from the grid control Console...
  
  At this point, I was wondering if there is something that could work around on the OEM grid so that whenever a target is added, the agent rather than providing the DB_NAME would automatically provide HOSTNAME_DB_NAME... I search on the net, and I'm not successful yet...

  wlmail.fol is a tiny text giving the name of the folder. The exported messages will have filenames like 00D13E83 - 000025DF.eml. If you don't see all of the files like this, your export probably did not work properly.

  For a successful export, follow these directions:

  1. Set Windows Live Mail to work offline before starting.
  2. Create a temporary folder on your desktop * to contain the exported messages.
  3. In the Export Wizard, select the temporary folder, and then select all the folders.* *
  4. When it is complete, check that the number of files in each folder to the temporary folder is one more than the number of messages in the corresponding folder of WLMail.
  5. Copy the temporary file to its final destination.
     If you use a reader not NTFS to do this, you will see a warning that certain file properties will not be copied files. This can be ignored.

  * Windows Live Mail do not work with files that are not on a local drive, as opposed to an external or network drive. This is avoided by using the office as a temporary folder location. 
  * If you want to export the files sampled only, select each of them containing messages. Subfolders are not automatically selected by default.
