Send a Firefox Mozilla patch today size (07/11/15) Version 8.0.0.2 340 k?
Now I can't delete it from the downloads folder. Avast! is irrelevant to this topic.
No, the current version is still the 42.0 Firefox which was released on 3 Nov.
Mozilla makes updates of Firefox on Windows, Mac OSX or Linux (using a file .mar) or by download from mozilla.org
An update of Firefox wouldn't have a version like 8.0.0.2 wouldn't be a .exe file.

Upgrade to Firefox 25.0 today. Now I can't restart the computer (it crashes or goes to the blue screen; Win 7) but it starts in Mode safe mode OK and it starts in normal mode if I don't run Firefox since I finally started. This suggests that Firefox 25.0 installation done something for her. How can I proceed? Thank you, Jim.
Hello
Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.
- Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
- Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
- Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
- Windows:
- C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
- C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
- Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
- Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
- Windows:
- Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
- Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
- Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.
Please report back to see if this helped you!
Thank you.

I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, but I always get a message on my home page that says "you are not on the latest version of Firefox. Update today to get the best of the Web! »
You can see this message under the Google search box on www.google.com/firefox which is the old default Firefox homepage. It seems that this page is no longer maintained by Google. You seem to have the latest version of Firefox.
If you want as the Google search page as homepage, change your homepage to Subject: House (a new version of the old homepage Google/Firefox update is now integrated into Firefox).

When I try to send a mail, mozilla crashes
Hey gang, when I try to send a mail, mozilla breaks down, does anyone have a solution?
Hi MatthewBartholomew,
-What version of the operating system are you using?
-What is the email client that you use?
-You are able to use the Mozilla browser without any problems while accessing to other sites?
Follow the steps listed in this article and check if this may help in fixing the issue:
Firefox crashes when loading certain pages
If that doesn't work, post your query in Mozilla support forum for better support.

My sincere apologies, my Mcafee came via the Optimum/Cablevision, not Mozilla. I now managed to solve my problem and appreciate the 2 above responses. Thank you.

I use Firefox (Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu 1.0) 11.0 in Ubuntu 10.04. Since the Firefox 11.0 update, I was unable to disable Tor, or to navigate without using Tor. There used to be a button at the bottom right which enabled me to move from a Tor enabled, but it's gone. I could find no mention of this in the Tor documentation, so I ask here in the hope that someone had a similar problem and has been able to solve.
Hello
You can try to activate the Extension in Tools (Alt + T) > Add-ons, or do a right click on it and find the updates. Please note that if the bar of the Add on is hidden you will need to activate it by right clicking on the + sign after the last tab. If everything fails, you can also try to no proxy in Firefox Edit (Alt + E) > Preferences > Advanced > network > settings. Options > Advanced

You are not on the latest version of Firefox. Update today to get the best of the Web!
Whenever I update my firefox, I get this message, you are not on the latest version of Firefox. Update today to get the best of the Web!
It - http://www.google.com/firefox - is the old Page to start Firefox used by the Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions of Firefox. I think that Google assumes that you are using an older version of Firefox, as they hard-coded message 'upgrade' in this page - all versions of Firefox see this message.
From version Firefox 4, Firefox uses a 'local' with the address Start Page of Subject: House. It looks like the old start Page, but this isn't exactly the same thing.
See - How to set the home page

I start the Firefox browser.
When the start page shows, I get just below the Google search box:
You are not on the latest version of Firefox. Update today to get the best of the Web!Not unusual, but when I go on the site to update it looking for a minute and then tells me I have the current version of the software.
If you use the www.google.com/firefox as homepage site that previous versions of Firefox 3 use as homepage you can ignore the message about not using the latest version of Firefox on this page.
Google seems to keep this page.
The current versions of Firefox 4 + is no longer use this website from Google as home page, but use the build-in on: home page as the home page.
Google assumes that you are using an older version of Firefox if you still visit this site, and warns you that you are using an older version of Firefox and invites you to update.
You can use a different page than the homepage as subject: House or www.google.com or www.google.com/ig (iGoogle). -
When I opened gmail in Firefox it displays mail in huge police which means that I don't see any part of the screen. When I opened in Internet Explorer or AOL, it is fine and I can see the screen who9le. How can I find Firefox display to normal size?

CTRL and the zero key, that should reset the Zoom, if you accidentally leave it. -

My Firefox has just automatically updated itself to the version 42. The extention under modules page does not display the extensions I have installed. The plug in page shows the plug ins I installed. How can I fix it? This happened on my 64 bit Windows 7 partition. I installed the extension "classic add-on" to see if she could solve the problem. There is unfortunately no. I have a screenshot. I'm not sure if I have permission to upload it to the media gallery. I also use Linux, but I did not upgrade that are still there.
It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.
Delete the files (extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.
New files will be created if necessary.

Firefox can't open after the new Update Version 36.
The problem is stated above. So I can use the version 35.0.1 without any problem. As soon as I update for Firefox 36, he will not simply open.
By will not open I mean when I double click the icon, it could register in the Task Manager with about 2.6 k RAM usage then stop immediately. Here are the specs: Windows 7 64-bit, Microsoft Essentials, Windows Firewall
Yes, I tried all the solution on the forum and solve problems and yes I tried a clean install, and yes I add Firefox to the firewall exceptions. The 36 Version, simply won't open. But when I restore it 35.0.1, it works perfectly fine.
Would be very grateful of any solution.
The problem is solved after I deleted prefs.js under newly created profile.
For those who has the same problem, try to remove these files at the following address:
\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ (username) C:\Users\ (profile name, could be random bunch of letters and numbers)
or just type the following in the ' research program and files "in the start menu:
%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ (regardless of the folder appears)NOTE: all the previous parameter could be returned to zero by default return.

Mozillar Firefox Plugin Check &; updates does not not in version 26 or 28
My operating system is Windows XP SP3. I had updated for Firefox version 28, but because of Bug 985968 I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the 26 version manually. Now https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ works not by going to the same through Add-ons under Tools Manager. It just keeps searching & searching and wasting a lot of time. From Google is also very, very slow. Very, very frustrating. Firefox is set as my default browser.
Hello gspal, for me, it's better to upgrade to the latest version of firefox (28.0) and forget the Bug 985968, is that the Java plugin with the error when you check with plugincheck, we all have the same question until the bug is fixed. But I believe that firefox 26.0 is vulnerable, now and in the new firefox bugs most of the 26 and 27 versions are fixed.
Thank you

Firefox has continued to insert my password since version 23.
Firefox has continued to insert my password since version 23 (only on this computer). When I'm trying to connect, it inserts my login only, without a password. "Remember passwords for sites" is enabled. Also, I can see all my password in the "Saved passwords" window
I have another computer with Firefox (Firefox Sync, same extensions and plugins, same settings) active, and it works fine there.Make sure that you run not Firefox in private browsing mode (permanent) (don't forget the story never).
- Tools > Options > privacy > Firefox will be: "use the custom settings for history".
- Uncheck the box: [] "always use the navigation mode private.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.
- https://support.Mozilla.org/KB/troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: Firefox > quit Firefox. Linux: Firefox/file > exit)
- If you have many extensions then first turn on half of test extensions that half the problem.
- Continue to divide the bad half that still has the question until you find that one is causing it.
