  There is no native email client in "flex". PB is not currently an API to use any "native" or "bridged" or by e-mail. If you just want to open the current, the default e-mail client, you can use navigateToURL with 'mailto' as url, or you can send the information to your own server, which can in turn SMTP information. Otherwise, you will need to write your own.

  There are several discussions on notifications by e-mail to vCAC. 2 options are to enable notification vCAC scenarios and setting of the outgoing e-mail server (can be found in the documentation vCAC) or vCO allows you to send an email when the machine is ready. Send a personalized Notification

  Hi Rafael,.

  This feature is available out of the box. When you create a 'Send Email' Action, chose 'User Relative to the folder' on the field to. Then you will see another list of choice beside him. Chose "the owner request for Service Manager.

  It sounds like you do not use the right smtp server to send the e-mail.

  Please check what 'Sender A' smtp server account uses.
  'Tools' > 'Account settings' for the e-mail account
  or
  Right click on the email account in the folders pane, and then select "settings".
  Lower-right - outgoing (SMTP) server - select the correct SMTP server for that e-mail account.
  See the image below as an aid.
  Click OK

• Unable to send an email with the BlackBerry Simulator

  I am trying to set up the BlackBerry Simulator so it can send and receive e-mails from my e-mail server (hosted). While I followed the recommendations in the various articles on how to use the ESS or configure MDS, I can't always send electronic messages of the Simulator.

  E-mail messages are retrieved successfully by the Simulator, however.

  I tried to use both the ESS as well as the various email configuration options under [Email] in the config rimpublic.property MDS file. Both produce the same error message (pasted below).

  I checked several times that the settings for SMTP and POP are properly typed. Interestingly, the following stack trace indicates failure of the SMTP connection on port 25, but this isn't the port number that I entered.

  I wonder if the simulation of e-mail is unable to work with ports other than 25 SMTP?

  I mainly use the ESS and MDS came it with the JDE 4.3 and 4.3 OS simulator 8330, although the 4.6 OS 9000 Simulator produces the same result.

  Any help on this would be much appreciated.

  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find a solution to this. It seems that port 25 is hardcoded in the SSE code and any value is entered in the form, it is port 25 is used.

  My guess is that probably the only way out it is either:

  (a) find an email provider that uses port 25. Unfortunately gmail and none of the other e-mail providers I use actually use port 25, or

  (b) to set up your own mail server that uses port 25.

  If you really want to do this with Essbase, you can configure Essbase triggers that fire when they get a value (do you think special last values Records or record load a separate that values an intersection) and in turn send an email. This could be a direct charge or may be the result of a full calculation.

  At first glance, this seems a little higher, but it would give you (think of a monthly charge) would be information which has loaded - this is the information contained in the email trigger.

  If you have any interest in this approach GlennS_2 (or is that GlennS_3?) did a great presentation on triggers year last to Kaleidoscope. Go to www.odtug.com, click on the Tech, and Essbase/Hyperion Resources tab and browse for presentation of Glenn, "little used Essbase features (such as data mining and triggers!). To download it, you must be a member of the WORLD, but it is a free associate member which will allow you to download useful presentations a lot there. Glenn will be there again this year and will not fail to make great stuff (in fact I saw one of his presentations and he is big thing).

  Presentation of Glenn is that a sample of this Kaleidoscope has the offer. If you like Essbase (don't we all?), use Essbase (uh, Yes, otherwise why would we on this forum?), want to use better Essbase (we all can stand improvements, including yours truly), lack of Kaleidoscope may be the biggest mistake you make this year. The content is impressive, the technical depth is deep, and the ratio quality / price is outstanding. I'll be there.

  You can do it several ways, as you said using the ibot also conditional. You should have the flag or flag in your database indicating that the ETL burden was made. Then based on a conditional query run an ibot. But the thing is after completing this ibot you will need to lower the flag.

  Another easy way is to create a report that runs ibot, make sure that you have verified that the Oracle BI Server Cache feed checkbox save the ibot. At the end of the ETL, run a command that performs the work of ibot for you. There is a mode application command in Oracle BI called SASchInvoke.exe. This application will run the ibot for you.
