Send data directly to the printer.

This? to have been invited before, sorry I did not found in multiple searches.

Is it possible to send a fusion of data directly to a printer?

I have a postcard merged data of variable images on the front and address info. on the back for 20,000 records.

Create merged document or pdf export will produce a document of 40,000 pages if he actually succeeds.

Is this possible?  Any help is very appreciated!

PS I'm on CS5

Nope. It is the operation of merge data. It's primitive, but it's free. A real solution in the printstream is certainly a possibility for many commercial printers, but these modules are not cheap.

  • Confirmation page when faxing directly from the printer, but not when fax from a computer in network

    I have an Officejet Pro 8600 more network (using the wireless) all-in-One.

    If I fax directly from the printer (using scanning and fax), I receive a confirmation page.

    When I fax from my computer in a network (using the 'Fax - Hp Officejet Pro 8600 (network)' pilot), the status display shows 'composition', 'connection' and 'send '. However, no confirmation page is printed.

    How can I set up the printer to publish one page of confirmation if the fax printer OR my computer using the wireless connection?

    Thanks for your help and your time.

    Planckster

    Hi Planckster,

    A report by Fax of Confirmation is an available option when sending the device itself.

    When sending a fax from your PC, you can find the most recent history of fax by opening the HP software.

    Click on manage the Fax setting, and click Fax history.
    The screen list a report on the recent work of fax, a printed report is not an option for this task, however.

  • Print file .rep directly on the printer, configure the application server

    Hello

    I spent several hours on this forum and unfortunately not found a solution yet so hoping someone has an idea that can help me solve this problem.

    Using forms/States of oracle 11g with a linux application server, we develop on windows machines. Printing reports using compiled .rep files.

    We have a network printer sharing (HP) that is configured on the application server, and we can print on the correct printer directly on the application server.

    Problem is when I try to print a report when executing the forms of oracle on my machine of development directly to the printer.

    I tried:

    SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY (l_repid, report_destype, printer);

    SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY (l_repid, report_desname, 'APPSERVER_PRINTER_NAME');

    When I put the report_desformat in 'pdf' format I can see the reports to enter the print queue, but they do not reach a 'State' order ' print file empty. "

    When I remove report_desformat, he sends in eps and as I understand it, it prints, but with bad formatting (I work remotely and run by what their colleagues say.)

    CUPS 1.4.2 reference printer queue tab.

    The report generates in the browser if I change the destype to produce and use web_show_document to display it as we usually do.

    I understand there are solutions using a java bean or involving the installation of the software on the client computer, but my employer is unwilling to go to that direction. We have only a handful of reports that require the ability to print directly to the printer.

    That someone has an idea of what the problem might be or help provide additional steps, I can take to solve problems? I have no idea how to do to configure printers, our IT Department managed this and they say, it's good so I don't know if there is a problem with what I'm doing or there was something installation related rate with this network printer.

    Thanks in advanced for any assistance!

    I have given up trying to use a report_desformat of pdf and paste it with the default value of the eps, after review, it seems pretty close match that generates pdf format and despite the fact that the queue on the application server throws a misprint even with the eps format it actually always draws for the good enough for now. Would be nice to know what happened here, but the problem has been resolved.

  • InDesign CC packages is more fonts when I need to send a project to the printer

    Hey Adobe team: user for a long time when Photoshop was but a germination. I recently upgraded the Creative Suite 6 to creative cloud and have encountered a worrying problem. InDesign CC packages is more the fonts when I need to send a project to the printer. This meant that I had to completely redo a project on the deadline for a problem I've ever had before. How is - it may help your users? And is there a current solution or should I cancel creative cloud and return to the CS6?

    @OurPlace

    First of all, you do not discuss any team of Adobe. These forums are primarily supported by volunteers who are not Adobe employees and do not represent official Adobe Support.

    That being said...

    He there did nothing specifically with InDesign 9 or 10 (CC and CC 2014) version of InDesign to modify or disable the packaging of fonts when packing for a document. There should be absolutely no different from InDesign (version CS6) 8.

    Troubleshooting tips:

    (1) make sure that you enable the option Copy fonts (except CJK and TypeKit) in the package dialog box.

    (2) make sure that you are not using any ideogram (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean) fonts complexes that specifically never put us in a package.

    (3) fonts TypeKit will not be packaging.

    (4) make sure that your file system permissions are such that InDesign can create all necessary directories and all subdirectories to the packaging operation.

    (5) if the MacOS, exit InDesign and try to force a clearing of your system font cache and restart.

    (6) output InDesign and then find and delete all the files on your system with names of the form .lst AdobeFnt# # being a two-digit number; delete not all the other files that begin with AdobeFnt. Restart, and restart InDesign.

    (7) reset the InDesign preferences that can has been corrupted. For Windows, start InDesign and press Shift + Ctrl + Alt. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files. For MacOS, pressing down on Shift + Option + command-control, start InDesign. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.

    One of them should nuer or solve your problem. Once again, we at Adobe are not aware of any generic problem with packaging fonts with InDesign.

  • Print directly to the printer option in the Windows registry

    I need to find the location for the option "Print directly to the printer" in the Windows registry.  I am trying to create a GPO to enable this option when connecting and I can't find the place for that.  Is this possible to do?  If not, is there another way to activate this to start for all users?  We run Adobe Acrobat X on Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit.

    Thank you

    This parameter is actually a printer in Windows, not in Acrobat.

    Take a look at this KB from Microsoft for general admission locations.  Each printer according to OEM may have different entries according to the document.

    Hassan,

    Give the PRINTER between quotation marks. then it won't work.

    Add_Parameter (pl_id, 'DESTYPE', TEXT_PARAMETER, ' PRINTER)';

    All other codes seems OK.

    Kind regards

    Manu.

  • How can I send faxes directly to the computer?

    I have an Officejet Pro 8500 a HP all-in-one.  My computer operating system is windows Vista home and the printer is connected wireless to my home network.  I want to know how to send a fax received from the printer directly to the computer without having to print on paper first.  Occasionally, my printer working ink or for any other reason, I'm not going to want to print a paper copy of a received fax.  I may still need to read the fax.  I wish I could print the faxes in my computer so I can read and print the latter if necessary. Thanks for the help. Jim

    Ah, I finally found!  It's an option under HP digital fax on the control panel of the product.  Thus, for some reason, the process with my printer was very complicated:

    1. I tried to configure digital facsimile from the control panel of the product.  He ordered me to use the software on the computer that comes with the printer; as well;

    2. I tried this software.  But the software I had installed my printer do not have an option for digital Fax, so;

    3. I went to the product HP digital fax option control panel that directed me to the built-in web server, therefore;

    4. I opened the built-in web server. But although this software has options for HP digital fax it doesn't have an option to stop printing paper, so;

    5. I had to go back to the product digital HP Fax option control panel and find the option to disable fax print it!

    Of course, at almost every step along the way that I should try to set up the printer, and then understand why it didn't work the way I wanted to and then go on the support forum, read page after page of messages, return to the printer, try various "solutions" online, then go back to forums, etc, etc. etc.  It seems that HP could do a much better job in the design of its product interface software so that customers did not have to spend as much time find answers to simple questions.

    I think that I heard that it will soon be possible to send money directly from my bank account to bank account a friend with us using apple two pay.

  • Controlling the size of the image/paper when sending a file to the printer

    I just sent a jpeg of Hi Res wide for my printer. It is printed in portrait but only 15 x 10 cm on an A4 sheet, and not the entire page. This could be useful if I print to brilliant 15 x 10 card at some point, but I want my images on A4 paper. How the printer does not know how to print a file sent by email and may be changed or managed for each file by file

    Hello

    The default settings for the content sent eprint is to print photos 15x10cm and A4 documents - unfortunately, these settings cannot be changed for content by e-mail.

    For more print options, you should download the HP ePrint app for mobile devices or print directly from a PC.

  • How do I "Print Scrn" directly to the printer?

    I have "Print Scrn" directly on my printer by default of different keyboards before, however, this keyboard will not directly go to the computer.

    Print Scrn does not, as the name might suggest, directly print the screen. Instead, he puts the screen on your clipboard where you paste in an image in a type of program photo editing such as the paint program built into Windows. Please see:

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-xp/help/setup/take-a-screen-shot .

    I don't know what you mean about previous keyboards.

  • Erasure of data stored on the printer

    HP Officejet Pro L7555 there a hard drive or ram that stores data and if so how to clear?

    There is no hard drive.  There is a non-volatile memory that stored the FAX - numbers, log information, duration, and number of pages sent (but not content).

    You can clear the FAX information with a semi-reset as follows: unplug the printer power cable when the printer is turned on, then press and hold # and 3 button and plug the power cord while now the keys # and 3. Wait until the light flashes on, then release the buttons.

  • LaserJet CP1025 Color - PC system tray stops working whenever I have send a doc to the printer.

    LaserJet CP1025 colour connected via direct USB for WINDOWS Vista 32-bit. I have the latest drivers, applications, and firmware for the printer, but the system tray stops working whenever I print a document. I tried this on Windows 7 via USB and get the same problem. Why does this happen?  I have another printer connected to the PC and I deleted all other HP drivers so that they don't interfere with the laserjet.

    Thanks for the update. I also found another thread where a lot of troubleshooting has been done, but the problem persists or is fixed only to reproduce:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/printer-all-in-one-install-Setup/LaserJet-CP1025nw-HP-system-tray-has-stopped-working/TD-p/1226639

    I noticed it happens on XP, Vista and 7. I recommend updating the firmware first (if you have not done so) by going here:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/WC/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=LJ-86491-5&CC=US&DLC=en&LC=en&os=4062&Product=4052957&sw_lang=

    In addition, in the printer preferences, disable bidirectional printing, which is located by clicking right on pinter > choose Print Properties > click on the ports tab > uncheck bidirectional printing.

    Let me know if either of those who help.

  • Save data directly to the file .ini with QSettings

    Hello

    I want to directly record of QStrings in QSettings.

    For testing purposes, I tried this.

    void ApplicationUI::writeDataInQSettings() {  QSettings settings("app/native/assets/data/filepaths.ini", QSettings::IniFormat);
      QString filepath = "filepath";
      QVariant filename = "Filename";
      settings.setValue(filepath, filename);
      settings.sync();}

    This code is in a function in C++ that I call in qml directly when the application is open.

    I have permission to open the file in the path. I checked this with open with a C++ stream.

    But when I run the code, and then open the ini file is still empty. What I'm missing here?

    QSettings settings("app/native/assets/data/filepaths.ini", QSettings::IniFormat);

    file Assets is read-only. You can only write to the folder data (which is btw: automatically used with QSettings)

    then try this

    QSettings settings("data/filepaths.ini", QSettings::IniFormat);
