64-bit operating system

I'm burning Phillips + R double layer

I opened again as administrator

I tried to burn it on the slowest speed

I tried to burn a small project to a disc single layer and got the same error.

rebooted and tried to create the new project with one of the same files - error

created an image disk successfully

I am running CS6

An A / P table is just that, active/passive. The passive node is not intended to be used unless there is a problem with the first node. Unless you can give ownership of half of the LUNS on the 'passive' node to make it active for those LUNs, it is not a good idea to use the node from backup to 'load balancing', since the LUN, the table at least, is still owned by the primary node, so I/O will go through the backup node , on the active node. E/s, according to the bottom of your basket between the nodes, will get still worse.

• Device error - sense Code (5-26-00)?

Hello world...

Another problem with PrE8.01. I got this error code: "device error - sense Code (5-26-00) - invalid field in parameter list - general" after media coding and compilation of burn on the disc. I have a dvd/bluray pioneer (new) engraver who worked before (not with PrE8). Any suggestion please?

Ben

I asked questions and made recommendations in your other thread, so I won't repeat them here.

For your burning problem:

1. Looking for an update of the firmware of your player. You described the machine as good as new, it might well be exceeded.
2. What brand of media you try to burn on?
3. To a DVD, use the option "burn on the record. This ends?
4. Play the video (from step 3) in a DVD player software (VLC is good and free if you do not). This play OK?
5. Burn the file on a DVD using a burning tool stand-a-only (ImgBurn is good and free if you do not). Make sure that you burn not higher than x 4 speed. The burn ends? He plays on a DVD player connected to a TV?

Post back with your answers please.

See you soon,.

• Error message "device error - sense Code (6-28-00).

Try to burn a project composed of MP4 video files (about 2 1/2 hours in length) and when it reaches about 97%, I have this message "Device error - Code detection (6-28-00) - no loan average exchange" and then first elements 9 processes in order to burn a perfect DVD with menus and everything. Any ideas?

SenseCode errors are often caused by hardware problems with a multi-lecteur (burner) and can be perhaps old firmware in the Multi-lecteur, or connection problems on the network, between the Multi-Player and the operating system. I would first check the updates of the firmware of the mfgr of the multi-lecteur. Web site. Don't forget to read the instructions for "flashing" the ROM with updates firmware - VERY IMPORTANT - follow these instructions to the letter!

They can also be caused by problems of blank media, like bad blank media, non - RW media, which has already been used or RW, which has not erased.

What brand and type of blank media are you using?

Good luck

• Tranlation required: Basic in the < g > sense code

Hello readers of stock code,.

just ran across a method that leaves me speechless (translated into: confused like puzzle). In BasicTableHeaderUI, it is called by the mouseDragged when resizing, the calling code is more or less simple (just do an internal accounting with the return value. Here you go, JW comments are mine:
private int changeColumnWidth(TableColumn resizingColumn,
JTableHeader th,
int oldWidth, int newWidth) {
resizingColumn.setWidth(newWidth);

Container container;
JTable table;
// JW: don't care if the header is standalone or not in a JScrollPane
if ((th.getParent() == null) ||
((container = th.getParent().getParent()) == null) ||
!(container instanceof JScrollPane) ||
((table = th.getTable()) == null)) {
return 0;
}

if (!container.getComponentOrientation().isLeftToRight() &&
!th.getComponentOrientation().isLeftToRight()) {
// JW: RtoL orientation requires ...
JViewport viewport = ((JScrollPane)container).getViewport();
int viewportWidth = viewport.getWidth();
int diff = newWidth - oldWidth;
int newHeaderWidth = table.getWidth() + diff;

/* Resize a table */
Dimension tableSize = table.getSize();
tableSize.width += diff;
// JW: resize the table? why's that ... should happen automatically on column.setWidth
table.setSize(tableSize);

/* If this table is in AUTO_RESIZE_OFF mode and
* has a horizontal scrollbar, we need to update
* a view's position.
*/
if ((newHeaderWidth >= viewportWidth) &&
(table.getAutoResizeMode() == JTable.AUTO_RESIZE_OFF)) {
Point p = viewport.getViewPosition();
p.x = Math.max(0, Math.min(newHeaderWidth - viewportWidth,
p.x + diff));
// JW: auto-resize-off requires to update viewPosition. Again, why ... would
// expect the autoscroll to handle this case
viewport.setViewPosition(p);
return diff;
}
}
// JW: if we get here, no need to return anything
return 0;
}
Commenting on those indeed leads to a weird behavior. Code looks like a Gash around something, but what exactly is at its base? What class is the culprit?

Comments welcome!

See you soon
Jeanette

First of all, I thought it was related to this auto scroll does not work because of drag events are generated for the header of the table, not the table. I have a workaround for column dragging this volutes with auto resize table off. But when resizing you really want the position of the edge of the column you resize not to stay in the same position on the screen.

So the problem is who is being paid to the ScrollPane, is that "grows to the right" - that's if its width expands display remains fixed in LTR position. For real RTL desired display position so that the illusion is that the point of view remains fixed and the scroll bar 'grows to the left.
Tried to move the position of ScrollPaneLayout #layoutContainer display that works keeping the fixed sight but the column sizing is now off because it does not properly handle inappropriate display position (essentially the return by this method of changeColumnWidth mouseXOffset). If the header of table user interface still needs to compensate for the displacement of view position.

Do not know what about the table.setSize () and it seems unnecessary.

Change of ScrollPaneLayout is not complete, it must also adjust the position of the display when the pane scroll itself is made smaller, so it "pushes left' in rtl as well (drag the smaller frame to see).

Note that the code of orginalBasicTableHeaderUI seems to have a bug (try to resize small and keep dragging the mouse to the right (in the rtl orientation))-> resizing gets stuck. I don't see with my code below :).

import java.awt.*;
import javax.swing.*;

public class TestColumnResize {
public static void main(String[] args) {
EventQueue.invokeLater(new Runnable() {
public void run() {
JTable table = new JTable(3, 3);
table.setAutoResizeMode(JTable.AUTO_RESIZE_OFF);
table.getTableHeader().setUI(new MyTableHeaderUI());
JScrollPane scroll = new JScrollPane(table);
scroll.setLayout(new ScrollPaneLayout() {
private int oldWidth = -1;

}

if(oldWidth != -1 && oldWidth < width
&& width > getViewport().getWidth()) {

• Error code 51A 00?

Whenever I try to build my project on a blank DVD I get this error code to halfway through saying (meaning Code 51 A 00). Does anyone have an idea as to what is happening?12736597_10205766204454090_1092169106_o.jpg

Sense codes are usually burner or media. Try the building to a folder or an image as a test.

Many of us never try to burn from yet. For windows, build the image and burn with ImgBurn.

• error code meaning 40901

Strange, I have only burned two DVD double layer no prob (Administrator).

Now, I just received two error messages (a few hours after I burned one successfully) sense code error 40901

Any ideas on what's going on? I use discs double layer RiData.

I have windows 7, 64-bit, cs5, a lot of ram (6 GB), intel core I7

Thank you

Lisa,

Yes, most of the SenseCode errors are blank media, or a hardware problem with the Multi Player.

Ritek was once a producer respected blank media. Judging by the number of complaints on the Internet, which seems no longer to be the case today. TDK (once respected) and they seem to have adopted the Memorex "business plan", to buy the cheapest media that day and then it rebranding.

Good luck, and I got 100% chance with blank Verbatim DL media.

• Problems burning discs with toast

I have problems burning discs using toast. I had with my old Toast 10, and the problem persists despite an update of Toast Titanium 14, so I assume that the problem is with my mac and not the toast. This happens with all types of disks, but is less common with data records that are not too big. I receive pop-up messages such as: -.

Sense Key = MEDIUM ERROR

Sense Code = 0x0C

WRITE ERROR

I have defraged my drive and controls with TechTool Pro, but it does not help.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Rob

This error is a response is received from the reader, by Toast. This means that the drive has reported a class specific (key) and error type (code). In this case, involving a class of errors appearing with the recording medium and the specific error returned is a clerical error. This means that the write failed. Why writing has failed is not returned, neither the player nor the Toast in particular knows that.

Apply current patches for your version of Toast, if you are not already underway. This may correct the incompatibilities with some kind of recording media and some readers work. There is much more variability here with the media and readers than most people imagine. Try another drive for registration. Try different media - an any other brand, preference. Try a cleaning optical media disc. Dusty heads can cause this type of error. Definitely try record to the low speed allowing the unit and the way, too.

So - if the above fails, please report the problem and specific recording media used (it can be data saving these settings on optical, data supports that aimed to help the reader to adapt to specific media) and the optical drive model, for the folks at Roxio.

Defragmenting disks and technology tools and the rest probably aren't relevant here, unfortunately. (I don't remember offhand if a failure to get pretty quickly the data on the disk - defragmentation is intended to address - indicates an error in writing or not, but I wouldn't bet on that there is correspondence sane with any of the optical device errors.) Optical drives are basic devices and semi unreliable in general, no two revisions of the firmware on the optical drives are never the same and sometimes not even two disks with the same firmware revision, optical drives getting harder and more fragmentary with age, and optical media itself can be wonderfully flaky. That to have written more than a small optical recording software.)

• _blank is missing from the right click when creating < a href

I used to be able to make a right click on a < a href URL link and a menu will appear and I could select target = "_blank". Now in Dreamweaver CC I right click and there is no option to select a blank window/tab.

How do I easily-without additional measures to type a space and selection of target _blank, I want just right click again. Thank you.

Sorry, I was talking about the field of the main window of properties under window > properties (or Ctrl + F3) if it is not open.

You simple left click in the link in any sense (code, design or live), then with the HTML button on the left side of the Properties window selected, click the target dropdown and select _blank.

• Terminologies of storage very important for VCAP-DCD

I have compiled this post from different positions (Duncan Epping), passionate about Valentin Vipin vExpert, vmware KB, etc. So the stock of credit goes to them.

I think this post will help the VCAP-DCD candidates for Design elements and objects of drag-and - drop.

VMware has introduced a new architecture for vsphere storage called PSA (Pluggable Storage Architecture). This architecture using plug-ins. This (PSA) is simply the name of the new concept.

Let's start with the native plugins of VMware.

The Multipathing (NMP) Native is the default module that uses ESX (from vSphere). It contains the two ATAS (storage array of plug-in type) and PSP (plugin path selection) plug-ins.

If your table is listed in the hardware compatibility list, VMware ESXi decided before (with the help of plugins PSP: VMW_PSP_FIXED VMW_PSP_MRU, VMW_PSP_RR) what paths multiple "algorithm" will be used. ESX will do natively: fixed, MRU, Round-Robin.

Note: * native vmware Multipathing algorithm = > fixed, MRU, Round-Robin *.

The NMP uses rules to decide who will serve as a storage array Type Plugin (ATAS) and Plugin access path selection (PSP) will be used. If you want to change these rules you can use 'esxcli' and you can find the rules in the "/ etc/vmware/esx.conf". For example the default PSP for the Bay EMC Symmetrix is fixed:

/ Storage/plugin/NMP/config [VMW_SATP_SYMM] / defaultpsp = 'VMW_PSP_FIXED.

What does ATAS?

The ATAS manages path fail-over, it's as simple as that. This of course will be reported back to the NMP, because the NMP is responsible to ensure a flow of e/s. The ATAS will monitor the health of a path and take the necessary steps according to the type of array. Nothing more, nothing less.

What does the PSP?

PSP determines which path will be used for a request of e/s, in other words the PSP addresses fixed, MRU and Round-Robin algorithm.

Keep in mind that the type of the PSP that will be used has already been preconfigured, it's not the PSP who decides that if she will be fixed or MRU, it's the NMP which decides this based on predefined rules above.

MPP

What's next? It would be a Plugin (MPP) of multiple paths. VMware NMP is built by vmware, on the other hand MPP is developed by sellers of paintings. EMC is one of the suppliers who have already demonstrated their MP. Example: EMC MPP is known as Powerpath for ESX.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Different types of storage and Multipathing policy:

Assets:-the storage system have two controllers and LUN (virtual disk or storage device) are accessible or host can perform i/o via the two controllers.

Active-passive:-host may have I/O to and from a unit number logic via a controller only (through active controller-owner - of the LUN and not through the other)

ALUA:-asymmetric Logic Unit Access is where the storage system simulates the function of assets (unit number logic is accessible via two controllers but alone will be the owner of it)

Example: EMC VNX 5300 is not really active/active table. It just a group of asymmetric access logical unit.

For this reason that ESX detect this EMC VNX 5300 as a storage ALUA and plug-in uses ATAS VMW_SATP_ALUA_CX.

If a storage system is active/active, active/passive or ALUA, vmware PSP may be FIXED, SRM or RR based on array type. The general rule is:

1. for an active-passive array, you will need to define the strategy of path (PSP) "most recently used". (The default PSP for active/passive storage devices is VMW_PSP_MRU). There is no path parameter with the MRU policy.

2. an active-active array should have the policy path set to "fixed". (The default PSP for active storage devices is VMW_PSP_FIXED).

Important: VMware does not recommend that you use VMW_PSP_FIXED for devices (table) that have the VMW_SATP_ALUA storage array type strategy assigned to them. This is because (according to my understanding) ALUA is not really active/active storage, so in this case, VMW_PSP_MRU should be used.

3. for both active/active and active/passive array, we can choose "round robin (RR).

The host uses an automatic path selection algorithm that runs through all Active paths connecting to arrays of active-passive, or through all the available paths connecting to the active tables. Automatic path selection implements through the physical paths available to your host for load balancing. Load Balancing is the process of spreading the i/o requests on the paths. The goal is to optimize the performance of flow as I/O per second, megabits per second, or response time.

VMW_PSP_RR is the default value for a number of tables and can be used with both active-active and active-passive arrays to implement balancing on different paths LUN.

Thus, the rule is to have chosen the PSP to the different array type:

For active/active - FIXED, RR table

For RR table - MRU, active/passive

For ALUA table (which is really a simulated table not really active/active, active/active)-MRU, RR

When storing ALUA, vmware SRM is also optimized / non optimized paths into account.

So in the case of a previous path optimized operation, I/O is shifted to the optimized path (which previously used before a failover to a path not optimized)

MRU switches to a different path when one of the following codes, meaning SCSI NOT_READY, ILLEGAL_REQUEST, NO_CONNECT and SP_HUNG are received from the table. Remember that MRU is not failback.

For active/active SAN, the policy path sets a single failover occurs when detection SCSI 'NO_CONNECT' code is received from the table. When the path back a return will happen.

As you can see, four against a single SCSI sense code. You can imagine what happens if you change MRU Fixed when it is not supported by the table. SCSI sense codes will be sent to the table, but ESX is not expected (NOT_READY, ILLEGAL_REQUEST, SP_HUNG) and a path will tilt.

Great write!

With regard to the PSP where it can be MRU or RR it is VERY important on review DCD that pay you close attention to the what the requirements are and what the instructions tell you to do.

Other then that, great work to consolidate this information

and storage - section of the overview of the VMware vSphere default dashboard is empty. We have Hitachi storage.

What is needed to complete this section of the dashboard? The other sections of SCSI storage latency/errors and SCSI sense Codes are met.

Thanks for the reply but the caching of the web browser is apparently not a problem. View all storage section has always been empty, since deployment and I just opened a fresh IE browser that I had never used to access newspapers insight and unfortunately the view section of storage set is always empty. In addition, the vcops is not involved.

• Problem with still DVD CS6. Cancellation writing disc

Hello. I need help - I have a problem with Encore DVD CS6. When the DVD disc is written the end of the process program cancel displays this text: "Still could not complete the operation due to an error in hardwar (detection code 40902)" it is in mac os. In windows, the problem is the same but the detection code is 300200. What is it? Disk space is sufficient.

As a test, generate an image rather than burn them to a disc.

Sense errors are usually, but not always material.

You use the same drive (external?)? Are you using the same disks? (Sense code errors can be disks.)

Many of us don't burn ever with still, using ImgBurn for PC or for Mac toast.

• Question on the ATAS storage

I have a few questions on the role of the ATAS in ESX/ESXi.

Depeding on what type of storage, you have there will be a certain ATAS selected. These ATAS are made for different SAN provider, for example:

VMW_SATP_EVA
VMW_SATP_EQL
VMW_SATP_CX
VMW_SATP_MSA
VMW_SATP_LSI
VMW_SATP_INV
VMW_SATP_SVC
.

The ATAS manages failover if the active path fails, but why takes care of the need for specific failover of the seller? In other words, what is different between the paths for the two providers from the host perspective? A path for example a 'fail' in a different way or need to failover Eva performed in a different way to a path to EquaLogic?

That ATAS 'interrogate' the path to detect problems or will he wait liabilities until the PSP times out and called the ATAS?

Recently, I've been on a VMware customer support event were discussed, so I have a vision a bit on this topic now...

I can only give a definitive answer to the last question: the PSP will signal the ATAS when it detects a path failure. The ATAS is that actively monitoring.

I can also imagine that the vendor specific SATPs exist, because there are specific error codes of the seller that are used to signal the malfunctioning of the table. These must be interpreted correctly by the ATAS, and they will be evident for example in the SCSI sense codes which are also partially specific provider.

Just my thoughts, can be somewhat speculative, so...
