  • Peripheral activation wireless blackBerry Smartphones

Probably a stupid question, but when I get to the last step of the upgrade my device software, I get a message that says: "you must enable the device BlackBerry wireless after the BlackBerry Device Software is being updated."

What does this mean and what is the procedure?

    Thank you

    Kevin

Any ideas? I even sent service books

Not to live that Rogers to Rogers

Could be a slowdown in the BIS server.

Rogers, yesterday, on the last night, reported an interruption of some data to BlackBerry services. The scale and services where delayed or even down, I don't remember.

But this is probably the explanation. Give today and see how it goes. If no improvement, thanks for posting here.

  • Shop online from App World for blackBerry Smartphones

Whenever you open the BlackBerry App World store online with another operating system that Windows, you receive a warning, that not all the features is available with your current operating system and the button continue.

I don't know what are the features I can't use (because using Windows has not revealed any functionality that I didn't have on my Mac yet), but the thing is really annoying on this subject is: when I opened the shop online via a link to specific content (App, seller,...) I always get this message the first time that I try to enter and 'continue' - button redirects me to the content, I tried to open but just open home App World. Forcing me to go back and reopen the link to finally arrive at the specified location.

And this bothers me too, it's, the online store is not yet updated automatically Redirect PlayBook-users to the build-in App - the world to conveniently download the App - not try to connect to the online store click on the 'download' - button and then only see the message "Please open this article on your device" and then have to open the App world App and search for the application.

By the way: this has been fixed with the update of the App World bug. Now there is no such message that my browser is incompatible

  • Question from Newbie Total of blackBerry Smartphones

I have just purchased my first Blackberry (a sim-free Curve 9300) and I'm trying to configure it to use on my Orange Bill.

Facilities only with the fact that I have a problem are email and MSN... When I try to connect to MSN, I am told that the 'Service not enabled for this pocket' and email seems to suggest that I need to activate a company account (whatever it is)

What should I do now to get these to work? My provider needs to change something on their end or what. Any help gratefully received.

Thank you. All resolved and everything works fine now.

  • Wireless blackBerry Smartphones

Help please have just got my first Blackberry and I'm a little hard with the internet connection.  I have a little free time as part of my contract so want to be able to use my broadband at home to connect as well.  Have managed to set up the WiFi connection, I do not know how to check if I use my internet at home or not.

To access all the internet, I have checked Mobile network in manage connections, but if I have the WiFi on the home screen and the details of the sky for example connection above I use my free wifi or not?

    Hope that makes sense.

Yes mine is exactly the same as yours with wifi in black and white, but is still no wifi preferred in manage them connections :-( Thank you for taking the time to try to help me x

Then, you use your WiFi. When you leave the range of your router, the router name will disappear all by leaving the name of your carriers.

When you return, you can find the BB will automatically reconnect to the WiFi and here again, you might not - mine seems random, so just plug it back to yourself.
